Will the Pinarello Dogma F be just as successful, or more so, than the bike it replaces? Let us know in the comments below!
will the next version be called G or H??
I rather have the disc brake version of it. because it is easy to maintain. I will not have a hard time replacing the brake pads.
@Aramintai there is enough of a market for high end bikes to sustain these companies. It sound like a bit of inverted snobbery. The high end in lots of “hobbies” show trickle down effects. There’s also interest from a lot of people who can’t afford these bikes, the views will guide content providers. I’m happy to see these high end features, they can be more interesting than a cheap bike 🚴 review saying “as we saw a few years ago on the……”
Rim brakes ols
Oh no I just bought a f12
Fun fact, i saw a pinarello dogma as a little boy back then it was a Dogma FP and i knew one day i will have a Dogma! Since 3 years I am saving money from student budget to get myself my dreambike…. One day a Dogma will be mine. They are so lovely and in my Opinion the F is the most beautiful they ever made! For sure i will get the disc break one with campagnolo Components!
Most coherent choice you could ever make👌👍
I would have loved the kind of student budget that allowed saving, let alone for a very expensive bike!
@@depfeffel6455 you don’t know how much it is per month and how much I am working besides my full time studies. And in fact it doesn’t matter if I save for a cheap bike or my dream bike I just have to save longer. ;-)
Go for it. The first thing I bought from my first wage was that elusive Scott Scandium frame back in the day. It felt so good and it is still in use on the turbo.
@@retusrieben6487 of course it matters. Maintaining an expensive bike like this also costs you a lot of money. If you have a student budget, I would highly advise you to wait until you finish your studies and get a nice job. That is what I did…
"Let's go look at the cockpit again, because I want to keep showing that sweet slo-mo bird landing we recorded."
whose paying
Dogma F(reaking Expensive)
Great bike by the way...
Expensive rather?
@@gudrune yes ; ) job done now
Are you sure it is Freaking or Fu.. expensive?
So close GCN. Valves not lined up, cranks not at 3 oclock. Best I can do is a "nice". Still want one!
And not in "biggie smalls" either...
Ollie said in the tech show the floor was too slippery he rushed to take the shot before it fell 😆
they try to amaze us with the same tricks every year.
10-15% stiffer ea year until we eventually are pedalling bricks . yup
This comment sums it up so well. Chapeau.
Best review of this bike I’ve seen so far!!! Ollie ALWAYS does the best reviews 😍😍
I've already put my application in for dentistry. Failing that, I will sell my body. Failing that, It will have to be a Specialized Allez. 😭
I feel you - I’m part of the Allez club 😭
If it’s any consolation, I adore my Allez Sport. It’s a great bike.
@@popcornsamurai I just bought
I just bought one for work. Had to put 105 on it though. Yes I agree heavy but nice.
@@James-zu1ij Did you change to disc brakes or stay rim. My sora does the Job but I would love 105.
@@popcornsamurai Rim brakes for simplicity. I do have a bottom range tarmac with disks. Love em
What a dramatic shot at 5:06 - perfect time Ollie underlines the feathery light weight of the new Dogma F!
I just came here to say that I was watching this video and my 11 year old daughter walked in, took one look at the TV and said “That guy is totally faking his accent.” 😂
That pigeon knows beauty when it sees it
I chose the very same. The Dogma F in Plutonium Flash, but with Campagnolo Super Record on Bora WTO 45 wheels. My dream build. It glides across asphalt and is as comfy as it is beautiful. I love it.
Take my money, I want that transparent bike stand!
available in the gcn shop!! Shadow stand!
This video really makes me want to have one of these, even though it's about three times as expensive as I'd like to spend on a road bike. Absolutely stunning machine.
Absolutely stunning bike. 😍 rim or disc erm i think I would go disc, need the stopping power at the crazy speeds you can achieve on that bad boi.
It's not some miracle bike made from pixie dust, it goes as fast as every other high end or mid range bike given the same wheels and conditions
@@markrushton1516 I know it's not, and I know that goes just as fast a other top end bikes. But I would choose disc on them bikes as well. Just for extra confidence that disc brakes give.
@@alexward6416 yes Alex! Same here
I am proud to say that i own this bike and I LOVE IT!!!!
I am in love with this Bike! Ollie, did they ask for it back?!? I'll take your old F12. 😉🙌🏼🤙🏼✌🏼❤️
I’d go for rim brakes. I absolutely love my F12, don’t see reason to upgrade yet.
Since you’ve now got the F, we don’t want the F12 going to waste! (Message me)
😂 Nice try
I love how this is the type of bike for people who always need to have "the best". So for these types of people, the F12 now seems like garbage.
Great bike and review!
A mechanical disc brake for me. I'd love to tune the brake pad gap the way I want to eliminate brake rub as much as possible.
Have F12 Dogma (Orange frame, 55 cm); SRAM red; Zipp 454 clincher; MOST Tiger bars 42 CM; Cane Creek eeBrakes G4 (rim); Vredestein Fortezza 28mm with Vittoria Ultra Light latex tubes. Bespoke build up since 12/21; approx 14,000 miles and haven't seen another like it in color or build. Awesome looker, ride, technology and all 'rounder.
I bet pinarello would name it F14 if the cockpit folds XD
GCN got their hands on something from heaven
That paint job is beautiful.
Rim of course - will be 6.8kg including pedals power meter 2 bottle cages and head unit.
...maybe less.
I live in Southern California, it doesn't rain here, and if it does, you take a day off from riding. Part of the reason is because drivers become lunatics with the slightest bit of moisture on the ground. Rim brakes for me.
I have a Pinarello FP 2 , heavily modded, weighs under 10 LBS , and I dont like disk brakes, so although this new Dogma F is BEAUTIFUL and well crafted , I am happy to keep what I have, once again !
Definitely in love with this bike, definitely would go for the rim brake version. It looks so stunning head on with the caliper😍
At nearly 80 years, still biking, my dreams is to spend 20 minutes on such a bicycle before I become lighter myself. Oh, did the supplier let you ride it?
I have the Dogma F10 version and love it. i run the Campy Bora Ultra 35's This is a absolutely beautiful bike. I would go with rim brakes, not a fan of disc brakes.
Love this bike so much .... And because of that i have one in blue 💙
I hope other manufactures will follow suit and give people choice between rim and disc brakes.
The weight comparison is mindblowing. As a rim brake rider I couldn't believe my eyes until I have to repeat again and again and even stop the video to realize the F12 is without pedal!!
The first Dogma I loved so much I wanna have it! Love the new color scheme they've gone with this time, it's refreshing! I'd want the disc brake version 😊
What a beauty! And disc brakes for me. "As it gets more and more aero", the prices also goes up and up ;)
Very cool that the videographer caught that pigeon @5:07 with his deadly talons landing just as you mention Talon Ultra!
Call it the F14 and Pinarello would have had Sterling Archer descending the alps screaming out 'Danger Zone' at the top of his lungs, thus causing avalanche and an SAR performed by Lana and Krieger.

That is a thing of beauty!
THANKS for NOT saying how much it costs!!!
Even my wife said this bike is beautiful and I should try and get one. She is not a a bike person, so this was a big call. Having said that, of all the bikes I have had over 30 years, my only other Pinarello is her favourite. Might be time to blow the budget in a big way.
Thanks Ollie for a great insight to the ´ F’ without using word prompts. I have a Dogma with same carbon used in dreamliner aircraft 1100 1K Torayca and can assure new viewers that the rigidity and strength is from an alien planet! I have Sram red rim brakes and they stop me smoothly everytime I am in trouble👏.I stick with rim brakes.
I prefer the disc brake version. All my road bikes are disc brake and I love it,coming from a mountain bike background. The bike is stunning! I ride a 2021 Pinarello Prince disc version with internal cable routing.
I rather get this than the s-works aethos when compared to the price. This bike looks soo curvy and sexy! Bellissimo!
I am a big fan of rim brake, after seeing the cable routing and considering the ultimate weight, disc brake would be a great choice (if I have enough budget for this 🤦🏿♂️)
This... is my new flat
Simply a beautiful piece of engineering 🫡
Ollie, the valves don't line up. Just a nice.
That’s a nice looking hoodie. Wish it was on the shop.
Lovely bike never disappointed from Dogma
I rather have the disc version! Beautiful Bike!! Wow!
Finally all brands have brought disk brakes weight lighter than rim bikes ! Now there is no reason not to go disk other than u can’t afford a new bike !! This is a beauty and now weight is same as Sl7 Tarmac! Well done
Find someone that looks at you and knows you like Ollie does the Pinarello Dogma models.
Also, what a fantastic bike.
Building a BoB with SuperRecord, ee Brakes, enve tubular wheels, Pirelli tires, SMP Full Carbon saddle, Wahoo pedals and Arundel bottle cages, should be a good all rounder.
Disc brakes for me any day. ^_^
Props for the "John Woo Pigeon" on the background with the handlebar shots. *NOICE*
Haha gold!
Nice one. I prefer rim brakes. Its easier to fix when we got problem on road
Salute GCN Tech beautiful Bike 🙏👍🔥🇵🇷💯
A thing of engineering beauty.
So many cyclists complaining about the price - you can buy the best in the world for a smidge over £10k.
If your hobby was: boats, Hi-Fi, motorcycles, cars, horse riding, motorhomes… £10k isn’t getting you very far.
No, I’m not a trust fund kid - a working guy with a mortgage and two kids to feed.
Buy the best you can afford and enjoy it :)
😭😭 I love this bike.I hope one day I have same.thanks god🥰🥰🥰🥰
It’s a thing of great beauty! Sadly seems to be missing that ‘Bridgewood’ sticker from the F12 though ☹️😂
A Dogma 2004 looks Amazing.... That's looks.........
This video should be rated R 😍
I want one! Disc brake Dura Ace, ofc 😳
Don't let @durianrider see that comment. He will go super dooper mad ... and will call the lean vasectomy army
Thank You for comprehensive review. It was very interesting.
Really nice bike. Would choose the rim brake version.
I'll go disc when 6.8kg is normal and affordable
same here. as long there is usually a 300-500g disc bike weight penalty + a 300-400€ disc price penalty (or a 500-1000+ € components penalty to offset the disc weight penalty) my rimbrake roadbikes brake good enough, and also manage to lock the wheels.😁✌️
These British dudes are 😎
Now, I do understand that I will never be as good as professional video editors, but seriously 5:06 a pigeon?? Which software has the pigeon effect??
rim brakes work for you,
but disc brakes... you work for them!
absolutely love this bike! now that there's an option, i would choose the rim brake version! just so much easier to maintain. i hate doing brake bleeds every 1k miles, and then having to true my rotors everytime after long days on the mountain. I would upgrade from my older dogma, but I don't know if saving half a kg is worth upgrading... i might as well save the money and get lightweight meilensteins instead.
I prefer the coinago with the frozen paint job
My dream bike
You didn't say a cost, but it's gotta be a "lottery win" bike. For me anyway. Noticed the back wheel was remarkably well balanced during the freehub sound check. All in all a piece of gorgeousness.
Now you need to ride it and make a comparison with the F12 :)
Rim barake as always. TQVM
Sounds so strange just saying 'F' without a number to follow it 😂
“Pinarello Dogma F… ing expensive” would probably not fit in the frame 😂😂😂
Rim Brake Version all the way!
Behold, the Dogma Super-Duper
One thing for sure is that if the whole body isn't painted and the logo is printed with fibre without carbon infusion
It would make it over 300 grams lighter
Gorgeous bike! Curious about the weight difference with the rim version...
Disk brake version 🤩 like my actually F12
My dream bike Will take one in the disc brake.
Dream bikeee
For sure a technical marvel. but let's be honest, if you are not a genuinely high class cyclist, you look like a Benny riding such a flash bike. As someone who is a lot fitter just blows past you, and mutters the immortal phrase "all the gear, no idea".
Nice bike very well made great review mate, the old saying is 90%you 10% bike , brakes are brakes they all stop you it’s a personal choice
Flutonium is really heavy metal so i'll select another one
I probably buy the rim version great review many thanks
Pinarellos are usually so expensive for the spec. I remember someone a while ago buying one for around £5k and it had really poor Fulcrum Racing 5 wheels and crap tyres!
Just junk if you happen to be a little bit overweight.
I would do the reverse. I'd get a Canondale Bad Boy 1 and put Campagnolo Bora Ultra WTO wheels on it! 😆
@@davidhunternyc1 In 2014 i bought the Campagnolo Bora One tubular. After 200 km the front wheel bearings started to make noise. They replaced the bearings under warranty.
@@saveriodipoce2201 Yikes, and those are pricey wheels. I think the new ones are around $3500. 2014 was a while ago. Would you take a gamble and get the 2021 version?
@@davidhunternyc1 Campagnolo is a great Mfg of lot of stuff.I would not esitate one moment buying there components. In regards to wheels; At the present time i would only buy wheels from a company that only makes wheels.
This is the bread and butter for them,I feel they make better wheels.
I know people that are still turning after 20 years 202-303-404 with very few problems.
I have never had Zipp wheels but,if I was to spend over 2000 dollars I would gave them a try or similar only wheel MFG.
With all due respect to Dr. Bridgewood, I feel as though if you're a Pinarello owner it's mandatory you are able to pronounce the name of the town where they are from. It's Treviso, not Trevisio ;)
yes ai love yuo more campione
the cookies and cream theme on this is pretty sweet.
How long did it take you to be able to be this comfortable speaking on camera? Do you have what you're going to say written for you? Or are you just winging it? The reason I'm asking is I do a very small RUclips channel. I mostly wing it as far as what I say. But I'm no where near as smooth as what you're doing. Anyway I enjoyed the video. And generally like the video's you're in and bike articles you write. Thanks for giving me a good example of what to shoot for. Nice work man. That's why you make the big bucks!
Yep, Ollie is great!!
Beautiful bike, obviously!
The weight is still a little high, for my taste.
After ally this is the „GC“ bike, and 6.8kg without pedals, power meter, outgoing mount is around 200 to 300g heavier than the Emonda or SL7.
Also, €13,000 bike and no Power Meter with it? Seriously?
Press "F" to pay respect for the F12
F
Stunning. I'll remortgage the house and kids and have a disc brake version please! 🤣
I’m happy with my Pinarello Disc… even it’s not an F yet… damn! 😉
Nice ride with Pinarello bike.Nice video of introducing the new bike.
Definitely the rim brake version.
Rim brake, please. Weight savings compared to disc version, please!
Disc is good on the long run since its cheaper. Given that you've already spent a bunch of money buying the bike. I do dig the "Plutonium" paint job! PS: I just bought a lottery ticket. Fingers crossed. lol
Got to be disc brake. I actually don't love them as much but at this point it's such a pain in the ass getting decent carbon wheels with the brakes trip… Just ordered a set of Zipp 404 FC for my Cervelo - was grateful I didn't have to deal with looking for some special model.
