Beautiful Poem. Its nice to know I'm not alone in feeling this way. I cried thinking about the things I survived over the last few years and that I might have to do it all over again. I also have a family that was divided and no longer speaking to each other for several years now. I, personally learned a few things since then and I hope that they will protect me in these coming times.
Happy good morning from across the pond. As I scrolled and found you far beyond. A wise man and his beloved friend shared the new morning with the sun at bay. A beautiful view outside along side coffee. Gratitude for every moment we get to share with those around us who care. Yesterday is today and will be tomorrow as the memories come and turn out. Just as good moments stay forever.
It’s always a pleasure to listen to you. Thank you for so heartfully sharing what I feel in my old body as trembling (fear of the heartless unknown). Bless your dad.
I feel that way about all political parties. I dont like havingvto have internet access for everything, i want paper money. I would like people and political parties to not point fingers if people don't share the same political parties opinions and point of veiw. Used to when a person was running you heard their good and bad points. Now you hear all bad about both parties. I'll continue to play a part voting on issues and call my senetors and congressmen. May we all find kindness in us to care for eachother and find peace in our hearts. Thank you for your video. God bless
Knowing you are out there, Jack Julie & Vivian, comforts my wounded soul and broken heart. Much has been - and will be - lost. All we have left is the love, faith, strength, kindness, and company of those who share our hurt. Your story of Meredith made me cry, but that comes easy now. If I could hop through the screen to hug you, i would leap. Except I fear I would never let you go. Your poem is beautiful and poignant, a gift of light in these dark days. Stay with us, Jack. You are loved more than you know. -C
Thanks, Jack, for the poem, and for the consoling talk. I too worry for my daughters--and son. I keep thinking that people aren't really listening to what 45/47 has been saying.

Thank you so much for your kind words in times of hate. Listen to you helps a lot to still believe in decency and humanity. Take care and best wishes from the other side of the pond.❤ Susanne and Niels
Still dazed and confused here, but life goes on and so do we ! Thank you for your reasoned and thoughtful reflections, upward and onward we continue our pilgrim journey ! Thanks to Vivian for sharing her matchless co-hosting abilities !
Be not afraid. We are stronger than 45/47 knowing the truth. Turn off the news and tend your fall garden preparing it for winter. Tend also to those around you in need. Finally, the campaigning and prognosticating is finished and we can move on from that chaos. There will be dark days but you and, even I, can be a light. Shine on knowing you are Blessed.
Six books at a time! I can only manage two, sometimes three. 😄 I put my trust in the 69,068,367 voters who did listen to what 47 said and, at the same moment, knew that he's not worth listening to.

I am also stunned and saddened by the choice America made.

It's not over. Remaining calm and retaining peace.
Thank you for the poem…
Stay genuine. Stay honest. Stay true.
Thanks for this, Jack. Comforting to see you and the pup, to listen to your poem, and to know that Julie is hovering in the background! Kate Maver ❤
We're allowed to be coarse.
We're allowed to be firm.
That's what you need to accept.
