Hi Abbey, Saltair states on their site that because the bottles are aluminum and 100% recyclable they can come dented and do not change the product inside. I will say on my last order each bottle was individually packaged inside its own cardboard box. I assume this was to prevent the dents, but then I had more materials to recycle. Seems there is always a trade off for increased sustainability. None of mine have ever come dented packaged either way. It really is just luck of the draw.
Elf lip mask is really nice, but drugstore prices can be tricky - I just realized that the price of Elf per oz is more expensive than Laneige and some othee lip masks/balms from Sephora…

I literally just bought everything you mentioned in the drugstore washday routine from a couple of months ago, and when it all showed up, I was amazed at how wonderful it all smelled. The nice feature of the Neutrogena tinted mineral sunscreen is that its not orange. I have almost medium skin, but it's cool toned. Most of the tinted sunscreens look so orange on me. This one does not. I use shade medium. I have combo skin and its a tad glowy on me, but absolutely nothing compared to most of the physical sunscreens out there. I also live in a very humid climate, so that's going to add some glow no matter the product or ingredients. The mychelle is a good alternative too for cooler skin types, not orange, works well with higher humid climates, works well under makeup, but it is very matte.
I haven't tried it with heat curls, but the Verb Curl Foaming Gel is so freaking good. It's light, it has touchable hold, and adds a nice shine when I diffuse my wavy hair with it. I have used it with heatless curls and had really nice results.
I love the naturium spf It’s definitely more of a moisturizer with spf than just a sunscreen But works beautifully for dryer skin and gives a natural glow under makeup :)
I love these drugstore videos. I have a suggestion for you about the Saltair body washes, I love Santal but the best smelling one is called Pink Beach. It is so yummy, it's like summer in a bottle. They just started getting it at Target and it sells out in one or two days. I get mine on Amazon and sometimes it's even scarce there. I have the Pink Beach body oil too. Such a dreamy scent. Love your videos Abbey, you have the knowledge to back up your opinions and so far you have always been spot on. Love your little baby girl too. 💖💖
I will say about the Eva NYC Mane Magic, I use it exclusively for oil pretreatment and detangling prior to washing. That said, I much prefer the original formula than the fine hair because the original had more slip to it, and it made it easier to detangle my hair.

I don’t think it matters if the bottle is dented.. the idea is to make it more sustainable. If they wrapped it in twice as much plastic then it would just not be sustainable? I would take a dent over them using plastic. That being said, I really want to give them a try! I’ve never heard of them & the ingredients great.
I’ve been using Saltair products for a year, maybe longer. I loveee their body wash. They’ve made an announcement before about little dents on the bottles, so it probably arrived dented to target before it got to you lol. Though in my experience I’ve actually never had a dented bottle. Though some have complained that it was completely un usable once it arrived. Great company! I love their body lotion too :). Slightly similar to the Necessaire body lotion
A good drugstore sunscreen I just tried is the Neutrogena clear face serum sunscreen with green tea spf 60. Feels lightweight, smooth, and hydrating but dries down to a non-sticky natural finish. I love it!
Abbey - thanks for sharing your feedback on all these products! I recently got two of the Essence blushes at CVS. Not only were they 20 cents less (if you pick them up in the store) than at Target/Ulta but they also had an Extra Care Card deal that if you spent $10 on Essence products, you got $5 back in Extra Care Bucks. Unfortunately, CVS just carries 4 of the shades and many locations are sold out because of the deal and how "viral" these blushes are. But I thought all you CVS Extra Care Card members might want to know.
Love seeing your new baby! Girl, you so need to try the Dossier perfumes that are dupes! They are really concentrated, no junk in them and last forever! Their Tom Ford ones, the Santal 33 and Bacarat 540 are to die for! I need to try those new Essence blushes, I’ve heard they are dupes for the Hourglass blush! I hope you have an amazing weekend!

I figured I would share that my best purchase based on your recommendations was the L’Oréal hyaluronic acid foundation 💕💕 completely obsessed!! I have EXTREMELY oily skin and this product works so well with my natural oils. I still need to find my perfect shade but EVERY time I wear it out I get so many compliments. Thank you!

I actually like the super blendable more than the hyalauranic acid one. I find the serum one dries out my dry skin and the blendable looks less makeupy on me.

I think I will try the lip sleeping mask. You should try the Bigelow My Favorite Sleeping balm or something like that. I do love it because it's on my lips when I wake up after a crazy night sleep. My favorite is Paula's Choice lip and body balm. But I really want to try your Vaseline lip balm. I tried CeraVe healing ointment but it doesn't last on my lips. Maybe in summer

The other day I tried a product from Eucerin’s Age Defense line…I did not hate it. Unlike the famous Bondi spf, it didn’t leave a greasy, sticky residue. I don’t remember if you’ve tried this line or not, but it could be worth a review for face and body spf!
Can you please do a review on L’Oréal hair spa DX cream bath? It’s a deep conditioner for hair, I personally haven’t been able to find it anywhere and I never heard of it before but my boyfriends dad got it for me, he’s a hair stylist, and it’s the best thing I’ve ever used in my hair! I’ve been using professional products on my hair for like three years now and this thing made such a difference in my already healthy soft hair! I want you to try it just so you can be as amazed as I am!
I will say if you use that Revlon brush Definitely use it on the lower medium temperature don’t use it on the high heat I think I want to turn it up to high heat it’s way too warm I have one but I never use it on the high heat I either use low or medium

I haven’t tried the Versed Body Scrub yet, but hearing that it has an unappealing smell doesn’t surprise me. I’ve tried a few body products with a high percentage of lactic acid cause I have pretty bad KP and for some reason they ALL have an iffy smell!

You should try the Baby Bum Mineral 50 by Sun Bum its fabulous! Perfect texture. The Neutrogena one is way too greasy

What was the tinted hyaluronic acid that you use?

Hello fellow wavy! My favorites are the L’Oréal Elvive Dream Lengths and the Garnier Sleek and Shine. I scrunch them in before rinsing. They both leave my hair feeling like silk.
I have the revlon 2-1 styling brush and I feel like it's also loud and burns my ear/face. They need to fix that in their products.
the FOB mousse is meant for naturally wavy hair not for curling straight hair, there is a texture spray for straight hair

I don’t recommend using it often! Can be really damaging. In moderation is fine just make sure your hair isn’t too wet!
Does the EvaNYC for fine hair still have the same great fragrance as the original?
