Off-the-grid dwellings are being constructed by Eric and his partner in order to support a way of living that is independent of any particular public utility. Before collaborating to create this community, Eric and Brendan, who moved from the USA to Ghana, had already constructed sustainable off-grid residences.
The site is situated around 1.5 hours' drive from Accra's Kotoka International Airport in Ghana's rural, agricultural, and lush eastern region.
When Brendan and Eric made the decision to buy the site and start construction on it, it was undeveloped. In order to enable individuals to lead very self-sufficient lives, beautiful sustainable off-grid homes with solar electricity, vegetable gardens, biodegradable toilets, etc. are now being built.

How much is the one bedroom
Quick question, why do you have washing machine in the kitchen
Lol, I know this may seem strange to most but it's very common in Africa. Also, here in the United States its common in apartments and condos still.
Please train the “camera person” or hire a better camera person because we didn’t see the build properly.
Thank you so much but which building didn’t you see properly, I didn’t show only one though
@Eric, what is your day NAME?
How much is the 2 bedroom home? I am interested.
Have you visited before?
I'm interested
Kindly contact Eric, you will find his information in the description
Have you visited already?
Mr Eric ur camera man is no gd u have to get someone who is professional in handling camera
That wasn’t Mr Eric fault, it’s mine
So where are the workers? Why there’s nothing going on at the site? Do they run out of money?
Some people say the weirdest things. I'm a realtor in the United States and I can tell you, there are days when the workers are on other projects in the development. Often companies will frame multiple homes at the same time and finish them according too buyer move in dates. That weird question is too create doubt in the minds of buyers.
Perhaps its Sunday!
It's cool that africans know no matter where we go we build and bring infrastructure. But to build and spend so much money in these lands and people that are not us is stupid. We need to build our own communities in our own land America. 10 years on average to get citizenship means they can take your land at any time
Have you built something in America?
@@Amina-mb8ip yes, we built the country your relatives flee to. Let me ask you a question. What are the chances that ghannaians will eventually take that land back and occupy the homes Foundational Black Americans are building their? Do you think if my people not your continue to build homes and infrastructure more and more and start their own communities that the ghannaians will get jealous and upset and feel like we are taken over?
African-Americans, blacks in the diaspora are always seen as one of us. Building or investing your money in African is actually one of the safest place that our brothers and sisters can make sound investment, because we always see you as one of us. We are still learning more about our distance cousins. The story has always been told by the outsider and we have been pitched against one another. There is no us vs them, we are Africans regardless for where u were born.
@@wizzyf7567 na we are not africans, that story actually came from the white man. And we have not been pitted against each other. My people though ignorant we told by white people that you enslaved some of our ancestors right and they were brought to America. Even though no african in africa has a name of one relative that was sent to North America where Foundational Black Americans are. We have always told africans we are Indians. The white man said we were african, the white man name you a african and your continent. Even though told this story my people still ignorant very few go to africa look for a connection. If they hated you they would come, they would build, they would allow the scamming and all the other things africans do to them when they arrive. Now can you answer this if my people have to wait 10 years on average for actual citizenship, does that mean at anytime they can come take the and and homes they built in your country? If my people continue to build and start their own communities like the Asians do and the Lebanon and east indian people do. Will they began to resent Foundational Black Americans? Will they try to enslave them like they supposedly did before? What has changed in your people that you can my people that none of this will happen again. Because jealousy is what caused it before.
@@wizzyf7567 not true jamacians and ghannaians feud all the time. Then fued in africa and in the u.k and in America. Your not being honest
Own a home with a rubbish 50 year lease lol
You don’t know shut about so shut the f**^k up
welldone. Answered him right
@@nappiebriggs I think 'slaveman2818 is a Troll! Check out the name.. more than likely a White person. comment.
