It's awesome seeing someone else enjoy the place I live in. Melbourne wasn't named most liveable city in the world twice for nothing! Also a great introduction to our weather in Melbourne, where you can enjoy all 4 seasons in one day!

You do feel really safe walking around the CBD. I walked several times at 3 am along the Yarra river omw home and it was actually quite peaceful

It's great you got the opportunity to enjoy the sights and tastes of Marvelous Melbourne! Not as picturesque as the lights on the harbour in Sydney, or warm as Queensland, but it is our home of culture, shopping, food and events in Australia. I definitely hope you drank loads of our coffee (best in the world).
As a Melbourne resident, i'm a bit biased, but Melbourne is worth a longer visit on your next Australia trip, and might be a good place to fly in from the UK before you take a trip to the Outback or the Barrier Reef.
So glad you have enjoyed our country!
Next time I visit Aus I'm absolutely going to spend the majority of it in Victoria. Seen lots of NSW & Brisbane and even the short time I was in Vic absolutely knocked those other 2 out of the water
@@lammy2140 the best time to visit Melbourne is during a big event, like the AFL Grand Final or a big cricket match, or the Australian Open.

Melbourne is among the most beautiful Cities in the Southern Hemisphere I have visited. I had the privilege of vacationing the Southern Hemisphere Countries and their Cities in two different time periods. The first to Brazil and Argentina. The next one was to Australia.

I live in Melbourne! I’ve jsut caught covid for the first time so this is a great video to fall asleep too tonight. I love puffing billy I haven’t been on it since I was a kid, normally we just watch it go past because my dog loves trains. I should go again soon.
