Oregon coast is a must! Nehalem Bay State Park, if you can get in along the Oregon Coast. Crater Lake is also a must stop. It is Oregon's only National Park. Appreciate you sharing your expenses.

Very interesting video. We are presently in Macinaw MI,. Did all the local and UP. Tourist things. Heading Thursday toward our Summer love! The Black Hills of South Dakota. 6 yrs. In a row. I am giving you a few must do things when you get there. If you want to know anything about that area! Let us know! We'll be there from July to Oct. Would love to meet you. We stay at Heritage Villiage campground near Custer. Cheap, but efficient. There is so much to see and do in the Black Hills. There is Mt. Rushmore and Crazy Horse Monument. The drive through Spearfish Canyon is incredible. The Needles Highway starting at the beautiful Sylvan Lake in Custer State Park is a thrilling drive through beautiful rock formations and tunnels carved through rock. Don't worry about fitting through them. Dually trucks and tour buses go through them . Dont recommend campers or coaches. Another legendary road close to there is Iron Mountain with it's pigtail bridges.The drive through the Custer Wildlife Loop is full of Buffalo, Pronghorns, Bighorn Sheep and prairie dogs. Also elusive Elk and mule deer. The tourist towns of Hill City, Old old Hot Springs with it's Mammoth digs, and the fun town of Keystone. Deadwood, Sturgis. The town of Custer is a hub for all these including Wind Cave National Park. Plenty of Buffalo there too. Lots of Caves,Wind, Rushmore, Wonderland, Jewel, and lakes all over the area. For fishing and boating or swimming. Chappel in the Hills. Day trips include The Badlands and Wall Drug to the east and the Devils Tower to the west. Miles of hiking trails including the wonderful rails to trails Mickelson trail for biking or walking, meticulously upkept. Back roads galore.There is nowhere that there's so much to see and do in one area. We return every summer to the cool Black Hills of Custer.
THANK YOU for all the SD suggestions!! We have been before (did Sturgis on our Harley) but this will be our first time with the RV. WE are excited to explore the area again. We will have our 6 yr old granddaughter too so showing her some cool stuff and BISON!! Would love to meet up. We have for sure booked a week 19`-26 July. Would like to do a boondocks kinda thing in Badlands ~before or after that....Will keep you posted.
