My favorite CoD game. From my understanding, it was never supposed to be a CoD game but the higher ups decided to stamp CoD unto it.
The tragedy is that if it hadn't been marketed as a CoD game, it probably would have done better.
@@Akazaji Yeah, if they had just marketed it as its own standalone game and simply called it "Space: Infinite Warfare" or something without any connotation to CoD then things might have gone over better.

@@DanakarEndeelI for one avoided this game because I wasn't a fan of the direction CoD was taking at the time. I've since played the campaign and I agree wholeheartedly that if it wasn't a "CoD" game I would've probably played way earlier than this.

As much as people hated the game because they saw it was futuristic this is genuinely one of the best CoDs, I definitely feel for the developers who finally got break free from WW2 games and Modern shooters and they were very likely really excited to make this game and the story and even zombies had a lot of passion behind it.
this was awesome to see, so realistic, that the fighters have resupply drones to bring them more missiles. Not just firing infinite missiles they couldn't possible fit into the ship.

The 9 or so G’s required to do like any of the non warp stuff would cause everyone to pass out that is not wearing special gear and isn’t very well trained.
The warp drive is relatively reasonable for sci fi, but space ships with only a rear thruster literally wouldn’t work for combat, you have almost zero control if you don’t have more thrust to brake and turn

it looks nice and all... but its as far from realistic as the moon landing is from the tyrannosaurus

after watching this I may have underestimated infinite warfare campaign. Storry looks super cool
I did not play this game ,but I loved the sci-fi action I saw in a playthrough,and like the Martian faction, with the Cool spaceship designe!

Imagine if this was actually in multi-player!
Yea would love a ship to ship multiplayer or even one like battlefront galactic conquest where the fighters are battling each other but you can damage the main ship and land on it for boarding action also wish the vr game got a full length version and have access to the same multiplayer
they need to take this and make a good space ship shooter game

only watched 3 minutes, don't want to ruin it for myself. I want to try this game now :D (Haven't played call of duty since number 5 IIRC). Yeah sure its a game that might just have call of duty slapped on it, but this looks worth the time to play :)

Sucks people dumped on this game for being scifi I would rather have a new scifi cod than 50 more modern or ww2 cods like this game was so fun and i loved the fighter to fighter combat and would have loved to see it get a separate multiplayer and a full length vr version yeah we have that one but i would love to see one that's a full length spinoff of a jackal pilot and it have connection to the multiplayer

that is the reason why it was so unappreciated. It was labeled as a Killzone knockoff since it reminded players of Killzone. Players heard this, and stayed away from it. Common case of hearsay if u ask me.
The plot is in fact a recycling of Killzone. Hell, two actors from that game played in it !
I have no idea about the game. I wish it had a bit of background about why the attack happened.

It'll be more realistic if there's no sound whatsoever other than the intense music soundtrack and rapid chatter between NPCs and player.
You could still somewhat hear your own rifle due to the vibrations exciting the atmosphere in your suit. However, the other weapons making sound would make no sense unless they did like in Mass Effect using sensors to create sound to make use of hearing in combat.

MP wise, this game was atrocious. Everything else about this game....was phenomenal. Bar none, the best
Not an American however i am confused like one... isn't the star patch on the American flag on the left side? Because the captain has it on the right side of the flag...
same was curious so i looked it up..
"Back in the days of the Civil War, flag bearers were common military positions within the greater infantry and cavalry units. As the flag bearers stormed into battle, the American flag would sway behind them with the momentum, making it look like the flag was backwards as it flew. Okay, so what? Why is the flag backwards on a military uniform? When the star field is first and foremost, it looks like the flag itself is storming into battle, much like our brave service men and women. If the flag were not mirrored on the Y axis, the star field would be on the left, making it look like the flag was retreating from battle instead of facing it head-on. This backwards American flag is called the Assaulting Forward."
so @NafGGMU properly explains the charging flag. The way this works in reality is thus. If the flag is to be viewed head on - IE on the front or back of an article of clothing the starfield will be in the upper left corner. This is the typical view of the flag. When worn on shoulders or on the sides of vehicles the flag shall always appear to be charging towards battle, so the left side of the vehicle will have a flag that is the same as when viewed from the front or back - IE a left facing starfield so that the stars face the forward edge of the vehicle. The right side of the vehicle (or troop) will have a mirrored flag where when viewed head on the starfield will be in the upper right corner - again facing the front. And during a charge with an actual flag that will happen naturally since the back side of a flag is naturally inverted - stars towards the objective.

There is NO SOUND IN SPACE. Why do video games do this? It’s not a space game if it has sound in space. It’s basically a Fantasy game using “Magic” to pretend combat effects that DONT EXIST in a vacuum.
The gun being held by the person shooting it can make sound from the vibrations of air in the suit, it just won’t be as loud as if in atmosphere. Guns in a battleship would be the same way in space, you would hear your own ships muffled shots just not the enemy fire.
Actually the in game explanation is that suits have like a laser comm system that makes sounds for the soldiers so that they have extra awareness
