I finally got to see the standard key! Got one on order in Bluestone but the demo I drove had the silly display key. I'm glad the normal one can fit on a key ring. Good review too!

My dad has the 2L diesel and ive driven it a bunch, the speed is fine but when i tried my uncles 530d (the older version from 2007) the acceleration was a lot better
I drove manual for 30 years. Bought my first automatic 2 years ago. It was a 520d E60. I was like you, I didn't want an automatic gear box. But after a few test drives I started to like it. And now, I wouldn't want a manual anymore. Automatic is so much more practical, especially in city traffic. And I can still put it in sport manual if I want to, but I hardly ever use it. Last week the windshield had to be replaced, and as a replacement car I got a 118d manual... I was glad when my car was fixed, because driving a manual for a long time...no...don't like it anymore.

Headlight and mirror blinkers are not in sync! Thats not really elegant.
I think it's better this way. It looks like a continuous indication instead of 'blinking' if you know what I mean. I think it's safer.
