It's just a photoshop of a famous painting of Pope Innocent X, just with Tom's face over the pope's, a corgi in one hand and a bowl of dip in the other. High quality shop, but hopefully was not done from scratch
@@drakesdrum1 I wouldn't even call it especially high quality. The color and light balancing is good, as well as the choice of corgi and dip images, but Tom's face isn't integrated quite as well as I think it could be, and there's no painting filter added (that I can tell) to really blend the added elements in with the brushwork. It's still great, though. Especially extending the frame and background to fit the aspect ratio of the video, which I didn't realize until just this moment.

Dude, your contextual use of different instruments is incredible. The little organ sting during “And I’m the Pope of Patting Party Dog”, as well as the little sprinklings of pitch bending just gives your pieces such a natural, chaotic flow to them. I know when I make music and think “ah, a bit of organ here would be super interesting” the other half of my brain goes “You’re going to add a completely new instrument, record, fix audio levels, and re-master the entire track just for one line of instrumentation?” Hats off to you sir for doing it anyway

You can feel Tom's love for improv in his songs - it is genius the way he makes us feel like we are discovering the song's story at the same time as him. Like, I genuinely believe that he was writing lyrics for this song, felt really chuffed with the Vatican bit, then accidentally discovered the wikipedia article while looking up Carmerlengo. But then like a true improviser, he just fuckn ran with it and the song became EVEN funnier and more clever. Then of course he created a ridiculously banging bridge and launched the song into orbit! Fuck yeah!

There's something really intriguing about how all the apparently freeze framed picture-in-picture Toms aren't actually freeze framed and they gradually break out of their poses and walk off camera at the end.
Like was it a plan? Did Tom make this happen or was he just holding his pose for the camera so he wouldn't break before the cut, then noticed it looked more interesting to hold the shot until he did break?
