I salute Andrew for making this video. Although I have never visited it myself, I kind of feel like I know the place based on all of your stories❤ I know how special this place was to you and your family. Therefore it will always be special to me!!!!!
We would stop here everytime we were up there to see the holiday displays for Kraynaks down the street. The mall was already doing bad and then Kohls and a few other big box stores opened around the area of the mall. If those big boxes could have opened in the anchor slots, the mall could have rebounded. There’s also a great burrito place across the street near the First National building “hot head burrito”.
Do you have any memories visiting Shenango Valley Mall? Leave them in the comments below. Thanks for watching!
Was one of the first Dead Malls I visited in 2023 after finding you and other content creators involved on this topic, so sad that it is closed now.
Yes in june i went to the fairwell festival there
Charming little mall. Great skylights and concourse design. Thanks for the history and video. Have a beautiful week.
I love seeing that vintage wing. I’m sad to see this mall closed. It has a lot of vintage aesthetics to it.
This video was very well done. Probably one of your best to date.
Thanks and Keep em Rolling!
Merry Christmas a little extra for you, Thanks again!
This video was beautifully made. This was my childhood mall. So sad to see the end of it. So many beautiful memories made there.

I wonder if Crown and DeBartolo possibly fought over building here in Sharon / Hermitage considering how close it is to Youngstown?
