When I was 14 and saw that Monday night raw episode dedicated to Owen and seeing Mark Henry cry it was painful, I think that was my first glimpse into the reality aspect of the business vs the show aspect.
Yeah i remember he had tears running down his face, Mark really took it hard. He has a soft spot for the Hart family, in the beginning he trained in Canada over there with the Harts for like 9 months
I remember watching that and seeing this insanely strong man cry with his poem to Owen made it ok for me to cry because if Mark Henry can cry it's ok for any man to cry. I never forgot that and respected Mark tremendously from that point on.
No kidding. You mention Mark Henry and Owen Hart in the same breath to me and I just remember big Mark looking up at the titantron during the 10 bell salute with tears just flowing from his eyes.

Owen Hart is a legend and it's a Shame that there will be a time when wrestling fans won't even no his name and he needs to be immortalized in the wrestling businesses for the incredible wrestler he was he was the real star of the hart family

Owen is in the Lou Thesz Hall of Fame and the Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame in Wichita Falls, so its not like he isnt recognized for his talents. WWE Hall of Fame is a sham anyways allegedly

It has been 25 years now since the tragedy at Over the Edge. No one, not a single wrestler, referee or person that ever had the pleasure and honour of knowing Owen has said a bad word against him. That's saying A LOT.

There is no hall of fame uts not like baseball ir whatever there is no physical hall of fame so its really a meaningless title that sounds good to put in front of the wrestlers name on commentary thats why i side with martha not letting owen go in as a way to soften the rough edges around the fact that company is 100 percent responsible for her husbands death
