    My name is Francesco.
    I’m a student based in the South West of the UK, I also work with FlashSticks and Newton Mail with their marketing teams. I’m mad about technology - especially apps and software.
    I’ve been on RUclips since 2014. I’ve been making videos about how to use productivity tools and resources.
    The mission has really been to create handy tools for anyone to use to understand and implement a tool, with some extra support thrown in. I don’t believe productivity tools can solve your organization problem, but equipping you with the right ones can put you one step further.

    Restya is amazing, really! And free, you can't beat that. I think everyone should start there. For me, I wanted more centralized control, reporting, the extra stuff to save time and make things more efficient for me.

    So you use Trello AND Todoist? What kind of things would you put in Trello rather than todoist please?

    Moved off from Trello to Meistertask, probably the best looking and working kanban out there.

    My favorite Project Management tool is Restyaboard and it works great for us. It's an opensource digital Kanban-board Trello alternative.

    Great tutorial. It's very helpful. I also tried Zentao project management and it's also efficient and easy to use. Thanks

    some alternatives from me :
    1. notion
    2. kanboard
    kanboard is completely free, but you need to host it yourself.

      Thank you Patrick. :) So kind -- hope it helped you with the decision making! Trello is really great and these alternatives are a hard battle against it.

    WOW Francesco no mention for Kanbanize? I think Kanbanize is the king of all Kanban Project Management software out there. I didn't use it a lot because I operate as an individual, but for teams Kanbanize is SO robust!

      :/ Sorry Wassim! :/ I tried to distil some of the most popular, I also forgot to mention MeisterTask, although I don't rank it as a project management too. I'll take a look, maybe it warrants it's own review ;) Cheers for the comment.

    I believe Trello was tops in market share, when it came to the newfangled "startup" project management tools. I'm somewhat amazed at all of the traditional enterprise solutions that remain on top, though. Most of the market is still served by these more comprehensive providers.

    • @keepproductive
      @keepproductive  7 лет назад

      Yes, it's had a pretty impressive journey! :) Well worth our attention, and Atlassian's! Can't wait for the next few months. Thanks for your thoughts Chris :D

    What I'd like is a system that gives an overview, effectively rolls up each project board or area to provide dashboard view of the individual projects. If that view could contain information like next task, number of open tasks and possibly a status I'd be happy. Asana i think comes close but its not quite what i want. Any ideas appreciated.

    • @keepproductive
      @keepproductive  7 лет назад

      Hi Rob, sorry for the delayed reply - yes, I think Asana is your closest bet. It have a dashboard per project and will showcase task progress.

    AirTable has a Kanban view now. No bells and whistles, but very customisable.

    Airtable's Kanban view is not very powerful but the tool itself is for sure. I'd like to see an Airtable review someday. :)

      Yes. It is. Free version have only 5000 tasks. Seems expensive. Other best alternative is airtable.

    Nice video. Personally I'm torn between zenkit.com and kanbantool.com - I kinda prefer zenkit looks, but kanbantool is so more intuitive and easier for me. Someone please marry the two : D

      :) Ahah -- yes, I missed that one.
      I do regular features on MeisterTask -- I normally keep MeisterTask in the task manager zone, but it's creeping into project management. :)
