- In this video, I will show you how to create a dragon eye tile using an old watch for the eye. The watch I used glows in the dark for added coolness :) **Important!- Remove any battery from the watch before using it for this purpose!
Follow along and learn how to create one for yourself! You can use this tutorial to decorate a tin, box or bottle too. Of course, you can substitute a glass eye in place of the watch face if you prefer.

Thanks!
awesome! brushing this all over with color changing mica powders instead of painting would be beautiful! How did you get the clock face to glow?
Ooh, that really would be cool! The watch face was one that had the glow-in-the-dark feature already. :)
Such talent! Amazing tutorial, thank you so much!!
Thank you!
I don’t have those little round tools so I’m pulling out the long ink thingies out of pens to use the ends of the plastic tubes 🤣🤣hope it works 🤗
It should! You could use the end of the pen's body for the larger scales too.
I've just discovered polymer clay so this question may seem silly: but why not just use black clay and save a step? Is there a particular reason why you went with beige and not black, then painted it black?
Yes, you are right, you can use black polymer clay instead! I used what I had on hand at that time. I also love the stretchy-ness of Super Sculpey, it's texture and elasticity is much different that other polymer clays. You could also blend your own colors of clay and eliminate the need for painting the clay as well. I do that quite often and then just add a "stain" of black acrylic to bring out the textures. Good question!
