Oh honey, clever girl. Switch polymer clay for PMC, precious metal clay, go smaller and make silver dragon eye, or whatever, pendants and jewelry! Same as what you are doing, only you will make a ton more of money. You are talented. Check it out. I used to make jewelry and you reminded me with using anything to texture the clay. Have fun!

You can definitely use eyeshadows, but because they have other ingredients other than just the pigments (oils, alcohol, glycerin, etc) they might burn in the oven, so I wpuld recommending making tests first, and baking at a lower temp for longer. The pigments dont rub off because the clay has a tackiness to it before it bakes which the pigments stick to and become part of the clay once it bakes.
The ice blue one is probably my favorite, because it's so close to the one I have! 😍 But honestly it's hard to pick! Also, I "knew" you painted the eye but seeing you actually do it is just WOW. And using a dog toy for texture?! Brilliant! That inspires me to consider objects around me in my next project! 🙌 🎨

If you use tacky gummy glue (like what you use to put a picture on the wall) and put it on the eraser end of a pencil, then stick the cabachon on the end. You will have an easier time paining the flat side of the cabachon instead of holding it with your fingers. Hope this makes sense
