How do you apply the brick effect to the wall
Directly on the wall! I only use the board to show the camera. But I do the actual whole process directly on the wall with the spakle. Sorry if that wasn't clearly explained in the video!

I too want to try this on an exterior piece of plywood. I guess concrete or exterior spackle would have to be used. And exterior paint, of course! Thanks for the ideas, BRILLIANT!!

A whole list-full! Starting with a gothic stained-glass window project. Other projects I have in mind are: making a snowboarding outfit, making a cathedral-style door, and making unique make-up cases... but i still havent decided in which order I would release them lol >__<
I love how it turned out and think the Regency style is so beautiful. It is one of my favorite styles of clothes along with Victorian & Edwardian. Great job <3 ;)

Hey, if you take a big roll of toilet paper and soak it in hot water (unrolled) for a few hours then mix it up to break up the paper then squeeze out all the water you can then add it to the spackle you might need to add just a touch of water to mix it up. You'll get a much better final look and it won't Crack out as much

Loved using the stencil for texture. Very clever. Normally when video are sped up I turn them off but it was very easy to see what you were accomplishing (ALOT in 11 minutes). Thank you. This is great inspiration for a Halloween project I will be concocting.

That sounds awesome! Yeah you can cut the foam pueces in rregular shapes to further the effect! AND you can take them with you and install them in your next location too!

Is this really as easy as you make it look? lol I'm wanting to do this for a Harry Potter themed bedroom and I'm so nervous about covering my entire wall in spackle lol.
If you're nervous about trying this out you can always test out and practice the process on a piece of cardboard or foamboard before you go all-out on the wall :)
