Arlechino not in t0 is crazy My both nuve and arlechino are top 1% my nuve does 80-100k per tick with team(with furina) While arlechino does 250k -300k per hits but it reduces to 150k-200k after 3 hits (note: I played mulani I don't think she even compares to arlechino or nuve in meta)

He is already in T1 and that is perfect for a really good 4 star who is becoming less and less a best in slot for different teams. Fischl should be T0 too, but besides quicken (maybe overload too) teams she doesn't synergise with many other ones. Similarly, why would you use Xingqiu when you can just pull Yelan or Furina? New players may not even have him mind you, this is what Zajef constantly forgets and why always overrates him :D

Exactly ! playing Xilonen makes you notice more the downsides of Anemo supports like Kazuha and Sucrose like their lower buff duration and the problem of VV in multiwaves And she's healer and can enable Furina on top of that !
I've been a Yanfei main for a year now and I have accumulated the Furina/Yelan/Bennet team and my Yanfei consistently does ~100k per vape. The common consensus is that she is an "ok" unit or "not that great", but I play her regardless cause I like her so It was quite a pleasant surprise to hear your take.
no, the common consensus are filled with people who tried her playstyle, didn't like it and who moved on without realizing the type of damage she did. I recognized her for what she was when i was prefarming for hu tao. i used yanfei as a hu tao analogue and built yanfei with basically the stuff i needed for hu tao. while i had ER issues because hu tao doesn't really need er, yanfei was just a titan in a proper vape team and i couldn't believe the "general consensus" that rated her like a lower mid tier 4*. When Ga'ming came out i was like "um guys... you do know yanfei does like the same dps as vape ga'ming right?" and as i said. the meta chasers who dismissed her for her admittedly unfun playstyle couldn't believe what i was saying. No... seriously. yanfei and ga'ming are remarkably similar in dps. i'm glad jellow is starting to realize it. now we gotta wake him up to the fact that Navia and Xilonen are doing almost identical damage to Mualani without all the akwardness as mualani... cause while i get his love for her, I'm kicking out basically the same dps with a basic navia, bennett, furina and xilonen team as i was with mualani, candice, xiangling, and xilonen
Xilonen isn't even a buff to neuvellite especially at C0 , zhongli E is faster to get than xilonen E and burst , also his res shred lasts longer and he have amazing shield not getting interrupted every sec , zhongli > 10% dmg increase
@kingdoom5022 ur coping all u need to do is xilonen skill and you'd get 36% res shred and 40% dmg bonus. The only thing she lacks is the shield which is a big downside but if they aren't aggressive enemies she's just better by miles

I just dont buy Keqing and Tighnari not being T1.5 Tighnari got me a 35 seconds PMC clear yeasterday for example. And they both perform better than many of the 1.5 ones in the list... Keqing also work very well with Xilonen...

Furina, Kazuha and Xilonen are the best support as of today. It would be crazy if if all of them could go into the same team. Maybe they could make any char as good as the best DPS, Neuvillette. Of course, for balance reasons, Neuvillette cant use ANY of these OP supporters. RIGHT???
I'm so glad you pushed Emilie up there. People definetly don't understand how much damage she can truly do. Love her as a character and shes crazy strong.
I’m scared of Emilie because I already die enough to Alhaitham burning himself to death, if I had Emilie in the team I have a sneaking suspicion that despite the big decrease to self burning damage that I would still end up killing myself.
Emily without her weapon is honestly very mid. Emily is never BIS in any optimal team including kinich. Characters like furina are just so much better. Emilys damage also isn't very extraordinary, it's only 123% of chioris damage with two contructs and nobody plays chiori.

This tier list update is spot-on! Seeing some of my favorite characters in T0 and T1 makes me excited to keep investing in them, especially with all the recent Natlan changes. Honestly I still believe yae miko is rated too harshly when compared to the other characters in her tier. I think the tier 1.5 is reasonable, but say that she is one of the more underperforming characters in tier is a bit much when saying that noelle is better than her (and this is coming from a geo stan too).

Imo, Yae beats fischl in everything but aggravate, and a lot of the characters she’s paired with have increasingly fit with Yae’s field time. For overload, yae fits around Lyney/ Clorinde’s downtime/ arleccino’s field time flexibility since her infusion stays between rotations; and for pyro carries yae is one of the best for applying Chev’s overload res shred to enemies in AoE, not to mention her better personal damage better suits overload than fischl’s need for reaction damage. For spread, she doesn’t lose damage like fischl proccing A4 a lot less, alhaitham has different length combos and tignari’s rotation perfectly fits Yae’s whilst she balances his lack of AoE. For quick/hyperbloom, Yae’s wide normal attacks, AoE burst and turrets targeting enemies all over the place means she can consistently hit cores whilst aggravating, more so if used with Xianyun plunges as a catalyst so her plunges always apply AoE electro. Mono electro is weak now but she was pretty much built for burst synergy with raiden. We have ororon coming for electro-charged so yae won’t be best there but they’d be a great duo for hydro carries with her damage being more AoE oriented like the reaction and having the EM scaling passive. Then there’s her flexibility to main dps on field or stay off which is perfect for Imaginarium Theatre. She’s not strictly the best anywhere except arguably pyro main overload but for years she has been seen as a less flexible fischl due to how quick fischl can drop oz and rotate but almost everyone you’d want Yae with can fit her in their rotation, at most extending a rotation by a second or two in the less compatible teams. And thanks to her damage split being more even between personal and reactions, she’s can provide more sub-dps to non-dendro teams. The only other place I think fischl fits better is neuvillette teams, since he doesn’t care how many enemies are hit with electro, and despite being able to swap out/in mid-rotation and pick up where he left off, Yae’s field time would compete with his where he just can do more. But Neuv has so many options, he’s rarely using Fischl either. I’d argue a c6 fischl and a Yae is pretty much bang equal in value nowadays, and I can’t believe so many creators are dropping Yae down lists whilst fischl often is multiple tiers ahead. And I know Jello doesn’t consider cons, but for low spenders/ Dolphins etc. Yae gets even more new synergies, like being one of the electros who loves Xilonen’s c2, whereas Fischl wants to burst at the same time as usual for Oz uptime and whilst the energy is nice, fischl is already a battery and appreciates it less than Yae. Typed a bit too much there but thought I might as well be detailed in what I’ve found over the years once I got going. I’m not even a Yae main, but I do like using her with my Arle/ Nahida/ Tigh, etc. 😅
the only thing that i disagree on this list is that mualani is "easily the second best dps in the game" tbh as a player who has both mualani and arlecchino i feel like mualani is slightly better than arlecchino in single target and thats all because mualani has a pyro applicator issues (hope muavuika fixes this). but overall i'd still say that arlecchino is the second best in the game. also alot of people do think that mualani is better but thats only because the abyss was insanely buffing natlan characters. you can clearly see the difference in the current abyss with mualani compared to the last abyss who just ended. overall id say 1. neuvelette 2. arlecchino 3. mualani (mualani prob gonna surpass arlecchino with mavuika's realse)
Arle dmg is not consistent as it decreases with bond of life, she is a lil bit complex too, mualani on the other hand is having the greatest dps if we do the maths, so mualani is clearly better than arle in single Target and aoe both...for neuvi, again mualani is better in single target and neuvi in AOE overall the difference is very close and with mavuika release she would surpass neuvi as well in AOE too Edit - u dont need to buy my opinion as i didn't..

I mean both mualani and arlecchino are insanely good in single target while for AOE.. well imo arlecchino Is Better in this case simply because mualani sometimes feels clunky to play in multiwaves and her biggest issue in AoE is that her shark bites can miss which makes her lose a lot of value as an overall dps. thats why I still think that arlecchino holds the tittle of the second best dps in the game

Kokomi can be really good for hyperbloom teams. Specifically, Kokomi, Nahida, Miko, and Raiden. This is the hyperbloom team I use and while I really need to fix their builds for EM, it's a team that works really well

Good to see someone finally giving Emilie some proper flowers. I use her with my Arlecchino team and her damage is nuclear for how easy it is to set up and keep up. I got her as an afterthought but after actually building her and using her I was very surprised by how much consistent damage she adds. Also she's so comfortable to play.
Its hard to follow your reasoning sometimes, which I feel like that comes down to your own personal bias's affecting placements. As someone who owns mualani, she is incredibly strong and yes has a high ceiling, but her margin for error is far more punishing that neuv or arle. Also as you mentioned, clorinde's performance is so variable depending whether you have her R1 or C6 Chev.... that her placement also feels weird

I think we kind of have to accept that the placement of characters on a tier list always comes with strings. They’re all dependent on certain factors like teammates or weapons and Jello tries to be mindful of them all. He has his personal biases but these are all pretty fair placements. Also keep in mind that this is based on his experience with them. I have similar problems with Mualani missing nukes, but I’ve gotta acknowledge that part of that is because I’m not as dedicated in learning her rotations for clearing. It’s mainly a skill issue.
personally i think mualani is below arlechino, mualani is still restricted right now due to xiangling, which needs 250% ER at least meanwhile you can’t take advantage of her sub dps. I hope that mavuika provides amazing sub dps and enough pyro application to overide furinas hydro application, i say this because i want to use mavuika, furina, and xilonen in mualanis team so mualani can profit of furinas sub dps, damage bonus, and hydro resonance and additional EM with nilous BIS weapon
Ning was my main from just after the game's launch until Inazuma came out, and sadly she's been on the bench ever since. Since mine is also c6, I'm thrilled to hear she's viable again! Would you mind telling us who the rest of your team is besides her and Xilonen?
4:15 facts as hell. Neuv is the peak casual dps. He will never do less than enough. Ever. Absolutely impossible to mess up. He definitely won't be at the top in terms of clear time but he doesn't have to be at the top of clear times to be the best for the 90% of the players that don't care about speedrunning.

Mualani over Arle just seems like a shiny new toy scenario. Arle is ten times more versatile. And she's buttery smooth to play. I have seen Mualani burst miss a hundred times since her release and I don't even have her. And pyro archon release won't magically fix her. She'll always be a forward vape single target specialist.
Ten times more versatile is crazy, Mualani wants Xiangling and two flex options, these could be so many different characters, ideally you use Xilonen to solve her multi wave, and then you can use Sucrose, Kazuha, Zhongli, Candace, Mona, Emilie, Nahida etc. You could go Furina, Xiangling, Baizhu, you could go Xiangling, Zhongli, Chiori. In pure Single Target even Xiangling can be replaced. She’s also versatile in terms of content she can be played in, whether it’s single target, multi target, multi wave. Mualani doesn’t lack versatility whatsoever. Arlecchino feels easier to play but a good Mualani player will clear faster. Mualani has higher damage across the board, whether it’s at C0R0, C0R1, C2R1
@@justawalter9752 mualani is just less versatile, she's tied to xiangling, if you play her outside vape teams she just doesnt perform that well, you can play arle in vape with xq, mona, yelan or candace, you can also play her on mono pyro, hypercarry and overload and she performs really well, so yes, she is more versatile
@@justawalter9752 those two options really don't change much though. Do they? You're still stuck doing forward vape for the rest of your life. Meanwhile Arle can do vape, mono pyro, overload, burn with Emilie and melt. In terms of teammates she's actually more finicky than Mualani. Because she really needs Bennett. But outside him, she's more flexible.
@@SogandShams What is the point of having a ton of archetypes? Her being tied to forward vape doesn’t change anything that she is incredibly flexible in terms of team mates. Sure Arlecchino has a lot of archetypes but how does that make her more flexible if Mualanis forward vape team that already covers everything you need whether it’s multi wave, multi target, single target. If you want grouping use Kazuha, if you want multi wave use Xilonen, if you want a shield use Zhongli etc. she can adapt easily to any situation by having so many different team mates available. I could also make the argument that Arlecchino is tied to Bennett, calc wise almost every non-Bennett team is about 20k damage per second worse than her Bennett teams which is a massive downgrade. Mualani can at least switch to Dehya or Thoma in single target like in this abysses second half, Arlecchino hardly can replace Bennett

Ugh, your Nahida points as well as what I'm hearing from Juice and HGC's videos are making me scared for my favorite element! I know it's probably not going to end up like Cryo is or Geo was, but I still can't help but notice that it's now actually starting to fall a bit behind newer teams instead of being the standard or a side grade like it still was in Fontaine. Hopefully we can still get some updates to the non-burning Dendro teams soon, as it would be a shame if such a dominant team core became forgotten and left behind if these other niche teams and units are kind of getting revived with new artifacts and characters;
Xilonen doesn't do anything in anemo and dendro teams (unless you have her sig weapon), Furina buffs ALL elements including physical damage. Kinich in a pseudo burning team with Furina feels the most impactful (from my testing) especially since burning also helps furina vape all her vaporizable hits. Furina feels really good in anemo DPS teams and who knows she might be again BiS for an upcoming anemo DPS right "GUYS"... Furina just having good unconditional no circle impact off-field damage while also buffing all damage (except for transformative reactions) just makes her overall better than most if not all characters in genshin.
The reason furina is so good was because furina xiangling bennet was already an insane core and since kinich uses both xiangling and bennet furina jsut runs .
@@AlwaysThirstys I don't like Bennet or Xiangling with Kinich. Xiangling forces spinning in one direction which makes Kinich fire less cannon shots. Trying to stay in Bennet's circle is impossible.
14:20 I think Sigewinne's best team now is Furina, Kachina, Chiori, Sigewinne. It's an entirely E.skill based team so energy isn't problematic, Hydro crystalize provides comfy occasional interupt res, Sigewinne is a bow character and can easily trigger Chiori's Seize the Moment buff. Plus with all the damage amps and off-field energy Sigewinne has very lax energy requirements with her burst. Rotations are flexible: Furina E - Q, Kachina E - Q (with Natlan spear), Chiori Q - E - E, Sigewinne E - Q - NA spam. Sigewinne's burst is short so Chiori's tapestry buff won't fall off during it.
I think Chiori should go up a tiny bit instead if down. She got a cinder city buffer with a construct in Kachina an if you got C1 then she can abuse Xilonen instead. Her geo cores got so much better. Also this is kinda stupid but C2 Xilonen is so good with Goro as to justify bumping him up, though maybe not a full tier.
Chiori needs to even go down in the tierlist because all of her pull value was replaced by Kachina which is a free 4 star. Even Navia's best partner is already Xilonen/Kachina.
I appreciate your input on the characters. I do want to say though I think you underestimate grouping. just for an example even though most people wouldn't think to use an anemo character with kinich venti's aoe enables kinich to be consistant in aoe with incredible skill multipliers hitting all the enemies. and the swirls for the pyro do a non zero amount of damage and enable bennet as solo pyro. not only kinich benefits greatly from grouping though. otherwise pretty good takes thanks for the video
I have C2 R1 Nuevillete and C2 R1 Kinich. What I've noticed is that both scale well, but Kinich is a much steeper improvement. At C0 and even C1 he feels ok, but at C2 he feels top tier
The hottest new take has gotta be lowering arlecchino a tier below neuvillette. She out dpses him and comes with a lot of the same comfort, but counters most enemies better because shes pyro (hydro tulpa, thunder manifest, baptist, icewind suite, mountain king, plus the geo ones if you consider her overload teams). She doesnt heal as well but comes with natural damage resistance even at c0. Neuvillette is more comfy for new players for sure but that shouldnt warrant putting him a whole tier higher than arle
Yep agreed, and if ease of use and mainly comfort is coming into play (im like 99% sure it was last tier list) then yeah shes DEFINITELY not up there, neuvilette and mualani are just on another level especially now with xilonen
she still requires you to dodge and play the game with half a brain so that makes her worse. with xilonen and kazuha on neuvilette teams you dont even have to care about most shields. with 76% res shred even if the enemy puts on something like ice armor and boosts there resistances neuvilette with kazuha and xilonen just doesn't care. tulpa is basically the only thing that can stop him.
Going by jstern's calcs, Neuvillette with Xilonen calcs upto 95k dps played optimally. His unoptimized calcs are still above Arle. She is not above him in dmg now, but Mualani sure is.
i think you’re wrong about baizhu his dendro application is enough for hyperbloom, that can be pretty valuable especially since he keeps up with furina, it can just be an extra source of damage in the right teams.
Some placements just make no sense at all. Gorou being one entire tier under Itto and Chiori?! Clorinde over Raiden? Venti in T2 under Klee and Dehya of all things? Wtf? You undersell particle generation, grouping and versatility too much.

Venti does grouping when? I can't remember the last time venti even pulled the enemies properly, not to mention he needs ult just to do simple grouping which doesn't even work
Most of the adjustments you've made were the one's I wanted to discuss about in the comments, you find yourself wondering whether you were valuing mona higher than she should, but as far as what I'm concerned, I would probably even put her one rank above just due to how strong her buff is, even tho it doesn't last as much, due to not requiring it to stack up, it could result in better synergy with those characters who have their dmg mostly front loaded, I find myself going to her more and more often in my c2 raiden teams to leave furina open for the second team. I would argue that Jean should be ranked higher, I've her at c4 but her c2 is what makes characters like klee feel more reactive to play (besides making klee prock her a2 more often), and works really well in kleerina teams (also kills the 5+M hp capibara in 1 minute alone). Speaking of which I've played xiao and wonderer extensively, and from my experience playing klee, i find myself getting better times consistently with her, even while owning c6 faruzan, cloud retainer and c4 jean. Even my noelle performs better in furina teams with maracchusse hunter that the both of them (maybe do to the most cracked artifacts I've being on her like crit dmg circlet with 10.9 crit rate and 29.2 def%) for that reason I would rank down both xiao and wonderer to were noelle stands, valuing their performance almost on par... For klee I'm very conflicted, sometimes i find myself matching or even surpassing raidens times in the abyss, to ensure I wasn't crazy I've timed the time to kill the capybara boss with the both if them, and the times were very similar, which is mind boggling to me... Still, raiden due to said interruption resistance is far more consistent with those times. I would downgrade xingqiu placement all that much, interruption resistance and dmg reduction still comes in handy besides his other perks. Fischl I would probably put her higher for how versitile she is, you can slap her in any team, almost no field time, decent dmg, especially capable of snapshotting buff and take advantage of them even when they expire I would also put dehya higher, I use her in all kinds of situations, when she was released, in spite for the backlash after I found her I challenge myself to use her no matter the situation to see if said claims were remotely true... While everyone was arguing about her dmg i was mainly focussing for her defensive and supportive capability, I found she could make your character survive attacks that would have killed you even with zhongli shield, I found the interruption resistance pretty neat, due to the extent on it, and not being relient on a shield not breaking... Now i use her with navia or kinnick with sumeru's weapon in his case. I would put sara, beidou and lisa higher just because I'm so invested in electro teams especially overload with cheverouse XD, but that's a bit of a stretch. Also collei, but I may be influenced from having elegy, also not the most consistent, especially with those boomerangs throws XD.

I feel like you are overating mualani. She looks great on these speedruns clears which require perfect excecution and a lot of retries, but in reality she least consistent amongst other top dps. On top of that last spiral abyss had huge 80% dmg increase for natlan characters. She is strong no doubt, but i dont see her being better then arlecino.

I honestly think that Dehya should be much higher now in the tierlist since she’s a really good alternative for Xiangling in Kinich or Mualani teams since her E applies lots of pyro, interruption resistance, damage mitigation, and some buffing. She’s so much easier to build too since she does not need very high ER compared to Xiangling.
100% agreed. Dehya is always underrated, despite the fact that shes becoming more useful as time goes on. I'd say she deserved to be brought up the list ever since Fontaine. She works so well with Lyney and Neuvillette. I absolutely love using Arlechinno with Dehya because of her damage mitigation! With every new DPS character release, Dehya has proven to be a great tanky support character
Ngl man I think you're underrating Arlecchino a bit and overrating Mualani a lot when comparing her to Neuvillette. She feels strong for sure but she's not as close to Neuvillette as you're making her out to be. Neuvillette's damage potential even in single target isn't that much lower than someone like Mualani now over a whole rotation, and that's really the only content she's competitive with him in. On my account my C2R1 Mualani feels worse than my Arlecchino but that's probably account dependent.
Neuvillette’s single target damage isn’t just a little worse than Mualani’s. Mualani significantly gaps him at high levels of investment, just check out how their C1/C2 abyss speedrun times differ. And yes speedrunning isn’t the best metric but it does paint the picture.
@@thepieguyftw Per screenshot yes, per rotation no. Her actual DPR isn't significantly higher than Neuvi's in their best teams if at all. The reason she clears so fast in speedruns is because in situations where things go well, she has extremely high frontloaded damage. Neuvillette's is almost perfectly consistent across his damage window, while Mualani can overperform significantly if she is at the damage breakpoint needed to clear a wave before her damage window is over.

If you have C2 Xilinonen, most electro dps move up the tier list insanely. It's fucking insane how much more bursts I get off with Xilonen. Same goes for Geo DPS too.
The ultimate truth is mualani is simply better than arle now and yelan is very impactful for so many teams but I agree arle should be T0 but she is definitely at the bottom of it

Xilonen being able to shread resistances of multiple elements increases the value of SubDPSs like Fischl and Yae a lot, so wouldnt say they are falling off, all the opposite.
Neuvilette vs. Mualani is like Crit 90/140 vs. 50/260. consistency vs. high numbers. either is eternal gods of damage, you just choose if you want more or less risk/reward
Except it's extremely easy to reach 100% crit rate with Mualani who ascends Crit Rate + Obsidian 40%. Not flaming but the comparison is a bit ironic lol.
i think venti's good just requires more skill to use. often one of the halves over the past year have been venti-able, it's just that some of the mobs on the floor gain interruption resistance after certain animations and attacks so there's a short window for his burst to cc. when it does cc (fontaine's new fatui agent's for example) it makes the floor much much easier

Currently at their fullest potential the top 3 dps are Mualani Arle and Neuvi but I don’t think this list is just for dps so I don’t understand why he doesn’t have Arle on T0 with Mualani besides dps Arle provides more by being able to heal herself like Neuvi so if it’s a comfort thing shouldn’t it be Neuvi then Arle ?

Agree with almost everything but I think Baizhu deserves T1 still. My Raiden Nahida Baizhu Yelan team is so brain dead unga bunga that I can’t go back from using it on whichever abyss side is immune to Neuv.
Before I pulled for Xilonen, I slapped the Instructor set on Baizhu for my Mualani vape team and the whole team just went unga bunga with healing and off field damage.
@@ABC-yj6cy This team can definitely be played with a hybrid Raiden build. I've done that and it works great. EoSF with some EM to trigger hyperbloom and quicken, on fielding Raiden. Hyperbloom still does like 16k with 200EM + 200EM from Nahida. Used that team in Abyss to 36 star multiple times.
Use Venti in Imaginarium Theater where you can't guarantee everyone has access to a Fav Weapon and then tell me he's a bad unit. Homedog is only beaten by Raiden Shogun as a battery which is why the average Ayaka holdout still uses him over Kazuha because they can't be asked to go for ~140+% ER on her.
Yun Jin is the biggest normal attack buffer in the game thanks to the new DEF polearm. If you have her at C3 and on a full defense build with a lvl. 13 burst, she turns Clorinde into a monster.
I respect your opinion but Mualani above Arlecchino is crazy to me. I do actually think Arlecchino has higher damage and to me feels much easier to play. Mualani feels very cope rn.
Single-target Mualani have more damage. Also Mualani have better AoE so its kinda clear that Mualani is better than Arle. Dont think i underrate Arle since to me its the second best, ive went all docs, icd Control to vaporize N1 N2... but no she isnt better than Mualani.
She IS better than arle in BOTH single target and aoe. Just a little bit behind neuvi. But with introduction of mavuika she can eventually surpass neuvi, or at least be on a par with him.
I mean currently for dps the top 3 is Mualani Arlecchino Neuvillette. Arle should be in T0 if we are pulling Neuvi for dps but if we are talking comfort too then Arle should be above Mualani because of her self sustain like Neuvi
It would be nice to get a new player/f2p guide but I get that it's more niche content. Something like who to save for from the shop, which DPS are worth investing in, top characters to save for (like in my mind I have to save for furina or zhongli reruns or arlechino since I don't really like nuevi). Maybe all of this is too dependent on who you have on the account though. Would be a neat video to drop around lantern rite/new year. Or maybe which "cores" go well together like yelan furina, xilonen zhongli, xingqui bennet and which dps work well with those cores.
demoting arlecchino was blasphemous 😂, personally she still performs better than my neuvilette (both c0), plus my arlechhino team is mono pyro with zhongli and xiangling , both of which were also demoted
There is no abjective tier list to be fair. My Lyney with Kachina and Zhongli performs better than my C0 Neuvilette and by MILES and it counts 2 4-star units, Chiori if you ant to be extra fancy. Neuvilette him being ''a low investment solid DPS'' is such an overstatement, too many 5* units to buff him that keeps you in shortage for your other teams (still can't believe people play both Kazuha and Xilonen on his team).
Love Navia and Mualani. I've been having so much fun playing both. I need to save more for Xilonen, though. I hope to get enough after losing to a Qiqi pull. haha
Not sure putting Mualani over Arlecchino after Xilonen release when Arle also benefits from her makes much sense. I love them both but Mualani is still behind Arle

I love how none of us wants to admit how bad Venti is just because he's the beloved first archon in the game... But let's be real, its a pretty terrible 5 star, we shouldn't be afraid to call it for what it is, we all wish he was changed. People keep adding the caveat of "when he can group he's insane" but even then I disagree, he was insane when he could group in 1.0/2.0 but now not only can he never do that but even if he could he feels power-crept out of existence. But maybe I don't know what I'm saying since I have a pretty mid account.
No you're right , grouping alone is not enough, the game has been focusing more on tanky Bosses and Elites where grouping doesn't do much, and Even in rare abyss rotations where they have multiple AOE chambers in floor 12 you can just brute force content without grouping. Venti needs to provide some strong offensive buffs (like Kazuha and Sucrose) to deserve a spot with top tier characters
Yeah, Venti is "insane" specifically against the enemies that deal the least damage and are the easiest to kill. And against the enemies that matter, you basically have a 3 character team.

I think Jello forgot that the last abyss gives Mualani 80% dmg and now he thinks she’s way better. It’s fine if he still thinks she’s better but the damage difference isn’t really high to demote Arlecchino. i think Jello is kinda overrating Mualani and forgot that the last abyss gave Mualani more damage. Mualani’s dmg ceiling isn’t that far above anyone else, Hu tao is really close to Mualani and Neuvillette damage wise yet he hasn’t promoted her enough imo.
Sometimes a rotation just doesn't line up exactly right. Sometimes you just need to squeeze out a bit more damage, need a bit more energy, you have to wait for cooldown, or an enemy dodged or stunned you. Arlecchino... doesn't need to worry about any of that. Her Skill and Burst provide so much flexibility. She will allow any team to have an extended rotation without compromise and craps out damage higher than almost everyone else barring Neuv and Mualani. You're right. She is T0.

Xingqiu is still good in pulling up some other characters rated lower. Kaveh (instructor EM build forest regalia) nilou xingqiu nahida(prototype amber) can perform similar to kokomi collei without the annoying half poise of ranged characters getting knocked around. Cyno fischl xingqiu nahida(prototype amber) can allow nahida to on field to finish off low hp enemies along with some hyperblooms from fischl to save up nahida and cyno for next wave of enemies. Double electro and TF set on cyno as well as using his E to funnel energy to fischl makes getting his and fischl burst easy to get up. Bennett xingqiu fischl kazuha with bennett on firld dps and delaying xingqiu E after kazuha is very strong. It will get even stronger with the EC and overload buffs next patch. Just have slightly less AOE range than like raiden and xiangling. Next patch, a lot of electro pyro hydro and kazuha will be buffed by the change in those reactions. Maybe even shatter bloom teams for kaveh and albedo. Sayu (VV EM build fav) furina fischl yae miko is surprisingly better than yae miko aggravate even without the future buffs.

While arlechino does 250k -300k per hits but it reduces to 150k-200k after 3 hits

I've been a Yanfei main for a year now and I have accumulated the Furina/Yelan/Bennet team and my Yanfei consistently does ~100k per vape. The common consensus is that she is an "ok" unit or "not that great", but I play her regardless cause I like her so It was quite a pleasant surprise to hear your take.

Yanfei is very good specially considering she is a 4 star, problem is Pyro is oversaturated with main dps's
no, the common consensus are filled with people who tried her playstyle, didn't like it and who moved on without realizing the type of damage she did.
I recognized her for what she was when i was prefarming for hu tao. i used yanfei as a hu tao analogue and built yanfei with basically the stuff i needed for hu tao. while i had ER issues because hu tao doesn't really need er, yanfei was just a titan in a proper vape team and i couldn't believe the "general consensus" that rated her like a lower mid tier 4*. When Ga'ming came out i was like "um guys... you do know yanfei does like the same dps as vape ga'ming right?" and as i said. the meta chasers who dismissed her for her admittedly unfun playstyle couldn't believe what i was saying.
No... seriously. yanfei and ga'ming are remarkably similar in dps. i'm glad jellow is starting to realize it. now we gotta wake him up to the fact that Navia and Xilonen are doing almost identical damage to Mualani without all the akwardness as mualani... cause while i get his love for her, I'm kicking out basically the same dps with a basic navia, bennett, furina and xilonen team as i was with mualani, candice, xiangling, and xilonen

@kingdoom5022 ur coping all u need to do is xilonen skill and you'd get 36% res shred and 40% dmg bonus. The only thing she lacks is the shield which is a big downside but if they aren't aggressive enemies she's just better by miles

I'm so glad you pushed Emilie up there. People definetly don't understand how much damage she can truly do. Love her as a character and shes crazy strong.
I’m scared of Emilie because I already die enough to Alhaitham burning himself to death, if I had Emilie in the team I have a sneaking suspicion that despite the big decrease to self burning damage that I would still end up killing myself.
Emily without her weapon is honestly very mid. Emily is never BIS in any optimal team including kinich. Characters like furina are just so much better.
Emilys damage also isn't very extraordinary, it's only 123% of chioris damage with two contructs and nobody plays chiori.

Honestly I still believe yae miko is rated too harshly when compared to the other characters in her tier. I think the tier 1.5 is reasonable, but say that she is one of the more underperforming characters in tier is a bit much when saying that noelle is better than her (and this is coming from a geo stan too).

Imo, Yae beats fischl in everything but aggravate, and a lot of the characters she’s paired with have increasingly fit with Yae’s field time. For overload, yae fits around Lyney/ Clorinde’s downtime/ arleccino’s field time flexibility since her infusion stays between rotations; and for pyro carries yae is one of the best for applying Chev’s overload res shred to enemies in AoE, not to mention her better personal damage better suits overload than fischl’s need for reaction damage. For spread, she doesn’t lose damage like fischl proccing A4 a lot less, alhaitham has different length combos and tignari’s rotation perfectly fits Yae’s whilst she balances his lack of AoE. For quick/hyperbloom, Yae’s wide normal attacks, AoE burst and turrets targeting enemies all over the place means she can consistently hit cores whilst aggravating, more so if used with Xianyun plunges as a catalyst so her plunges always apply AoE electro. Mono electro is weak now but she was pretty much built for burst synergy with raiden. We have ororon coming for electro-charged so yae won’t be best there but they’d be a great duo for hydro carries with her damage being more AoE oriented like the reaction and having the EM scaling passive. Then there’s her flexibility to main dps on field or stay off which is perfect for Imaginarium Theatre.
She’s not strictly the best anywhere except arguably pyro main overload but for years she has been seen as a less flexible fischl due to how quick fischl can drop oz and rotate but almost everyone you’d want Yae with can fit her in their rotation, at most extending a rotation by a second or two in the less compatible teams. And thanks to her damage split being more even between personal and reactions, she’s can provide more sub-dps to non-dendro teams.
The only other place I think fischl fits better is neuvillette teams, since he doesn’t care how many enemies are hit with electro, and despite being able to swap out/in mid-rotation and pick up where he left off, Yae’s field time would compete with his where he just can do more. But Neuv has so many options, he’s rarely using Fischl either.
I’d argue a c6 fischl and a Yae is pretty much bang equal in value nowadays, and I can’t believe so many creators are dropping Yae down lists whilst fischl often is multiple tiers ahead. And I know Jello doesn’t consider cons, but for low spenders/ Dolphins etc. Yae gets even more new synergies, like being one of the electros who loves Xilonen’s c2, whereas Fischl wants to burst at the same time as usual for Oz uptime and whilst the energy is nice, fischl is already a battery and appreciates it less than Yae.
Typed a bit too much there but thought I might as well be detailed in what I’ve found over the years once I got going. I’m not even a Yae main, but I do like using her with my Arle/ Nahida/ Tigh, etc. 😅

the only thing that i disagree on this list is that mualani is "easily the second best dps in the game" tbh as a player who has both mualani and arlecchino i feel like mualani is slightly better than arlecchino in single target and thats all because mualani has a pyro applicator issues (hope muavuika fixes this). but overall i'd still say that arlecchino is the second best in the game. also alot of people do think that mualani is better but thats only because the abyss was insanely buffing natlan characters. you can clearly see the difference in the current abyss with mualani compared to the last abyss who just ended. overall id say 1. neuvelette 2. arlecchino 3. mualani (mualani prob gonna surpass arlecchino with mavuika's realse)
Arle dmg is not consistent as it decreases with bond of life, she is a lil bit complex too, mualani on the other hand is having the greatest dps if we do the maths, so mualani is clearly better than arle in single Target and aoe both...for neuvi, again mualani is better in single target and neuvi in AOE overall the difference is very close and with mavuika release she would surpass neuvi as well in AOE too

@@Osman_Khan_003 it could be but I'm talking about mualani and arlecchino. mualani has better single target DMG but... that's pretty much it. yeah I get the fact that arlecchino's DMG can be inconsistent due to the fact that her DMG decreases every NA but it isn't of a big problem isnt it? I mean both mualani and arlecchino are insanely good in single target while for AOE.. well imo arlecchino Is Better in this case simply because mualani sometimes feels clunky to play in multiwaves and her biggest issue in AoE is that her shark bites can miss which makes her lose a lot of value as an overall dps. thats why I still think that arlecchino holds the tittle of the second best dps in the game
@@ayanoslow as for the current version, the devs improved this problem of mualani skill, now she don't miss, but i can agree on the burst, it can be a very awkward moment to witness a tanky burst missile missing its target...but it also is not a problem if one knows enemies play style well, isn't?

Kokomi can be really good for hyperbloom teams. Specifically, Kokomi, Nahida, Miko, and Raiden. This is the hyperbloom team I use and while I really need to fix their builds for EM, it's a team that works really well

Good to see someone finally giving Emilie some proper flowers. I use her with my Arlecchino team and her damage is nuclear for how easy it is to set up and keep up. I got her as an afterthought but after actually building her and using her I was very surprised by how much consistent damage she adds. Also she's so comfortable to play.

Its hard to follow your reasoning sometimes, which I feel like that comes down to your own personal bias's affecting placements. As someone who owns mualani, she is incredibly strong and yes has a high ceiling, but her margin for error is far more punishing that neuv or arle. Also as you mentioned, clorinde's performance is so variable depending whether you have her R1 or C6 Chev.... that her placement also feels weird

I think we kind of have to accept that the placement of characters on a tier list always comes with strings. They’re all dependent on certain factors like teammates or weapons and Jello tries to be mindful of them all. He has his personal biases but these are all pretty fair placements.
Also keep in mind that this is based on his experience with them. I have similar problems with Mualani missing nukes, but I’ve gotta acknowledge that part of that is because I’m not as dedicated in learning her rotations for clearing. It’s mainly a skill issue.

personally i think mualani is below arlechino, mualani is still restricted right now due to xiangling, which needs 250% ER at least meanwhile you can’t take advantage of her sub dps. I hope that mavuika provides amazing sub dps and enough pyro application to overide furinas hydro application, i say this because i want to use mavuika, furina, and xilonen in mualanis team so mualani can profit of furinas sub dps, damage bonus, and hydro resonance and additional EM with nilous BIS weapon
I think we need more characters like xilonen but specifically designed to help old characters that are left into the dust

4:15 facts as hell. Neuv is the peak casual dps. He will never do less than enough. Ever. Absolutely impossible to mess up. He definitely won't be at the top in terms of clear time but he doesn't have to be at the top of clear times to be the best for the 90% of the players that don't care about speedrunning.

Mualani over Arle just seems like a shiny new toy scenario. Arle is ten times more versatile. And she's buttery smooth to play. I have seen Mualani burst miss a hundred times since her release and I don't even have her. And pyro archon release won't magically fix her. She'll always be a forward vape single target specialist.
Ten times more versatile is crazy, Mualani wants Xiangling and two flex options, these could be so many different characters, ideally you use Xilonen to solve her multi wave, and then you can use Sucrose, Kazuha, Zhongli, Candace, Mona, Emilie, Nahida etc. You could go Furina, Xiangling, Baizhu, you could go Xiangling, Zhongli, Chiori. In pure Single Target even Xiangling can be replaced. She’s also versatile in terms of content she can be played in, whether it’s single target, multi target, multi wave. Mualani doesn’t lack versatility whatsoever.
Arlecchino feels easier to play but a good Mualani player will clear faster. Mualani has higher damage across the board, whether it’s at C0R0, C0R1, C2R1
@@justawalter9752 mualani is just less versatile, she's tied to xiangling, if you play her outside vape teams she just doesnt perform that well, you can play arle in vape with xq, mona, yelan or candace, you can also play her on mono pyro, hypercarry and overload and she performs really well, so yes, she is more versatile
@@justawalter9752 those two options really don't change much though. Do they? You're still stuck doing forward vape for the rest of your life. Meanwhile Arle can do vape, mono pyro, overload, burn with Emilie and melt. In terms of teammates she's actually more finicky than Mualani. Because she really needs Bennett. But outside him, she's more flexible.
@@SogandShams What is the point of having a ton of archetypes? Her being tied to forward vape doesn’t change anything that she is incredibly flexible in terms of team mates. Sure Arlecchino has a lot of archetypes but how does that make her more flexible if Mualanis forward vape team that already covers everything you need whether it’s multi wave, multi target, single target. If you want grouping use Kazuha, if you want multi wave use Xilonen, if you want a shield use Zhongli etc. she can adapt easily to any situation by having so many different team mates available. I could also make the argument that Arlecchino is tied to Bennett, calc wise almost every non-Bennett team is about 20k damage per second worse than her Bennett teams which is a massive downgrade. Mualani can at least switch to Dehya or Thoma in single target like in this abysses second half, Arlecchino hardly can replace Bennett

Ugh, your Nahida points as well as what I'm hearing from Juice and HGC's videos are making me scared for my favorite element! I know it's probably not going to end up like Cryo is or Geo was, but I still can't help but notice that it's now actually starting to fall a bit behind newer teams instead of being the standard or a side grade like it still was in Fontaine. Hopefully we can still get some updates to the non-burning Dendro teams soon, as it would be a shame if such a dominant team core became forgotten and left behind if these other niche teams and units are kind of getting revived with new artifacts and characters;
dendro is terrible because of nahida, literally anything more than one wave makes it worse than normal teams, especially post xilonen

Xilonen doesn't do anything in anemo and dendro teams (unless you have her sig weapon), Furina buffs ALL elements including physical damage. Kinich in a pseudo burning team with Furina feels the most impactful (from my testing) especially since burning also helps furina vape all her vaporizable hits. Furina feels really good in anemo DPS teams and who knows she might be again BiS for an upcoming anemo DPS right "GUYS"... Furina just having good unconditional no circle impact off-field damage while also buffing all damage (except for transformative reactions) just makes her overall better than most if not all characters in genshin.
The reason furina is so good was because furina xiangling bennet was already an insane core and since kinich uses both xiangling and bennet furina jsut runs .
@@AlwaysThirstys I don't like Bennet or Xiangling with Kinich. Xiangling forces spinning in one direction which makes Kinich fire less cannon shots. Trying to stay in Bennet's circle is impossible.

I think Sigewinne's best team now is Furina, Kachina, Chiori, Sigewinne. It's an entirely E.skill based team so energy isn't problematic, Hydro crystalize provides comfy occasional interupt res, Sigewinne is a bow character and can easily trigger Chiori's Seize the Moment buff. Plus with all the damage amps and off-field energy Sigewinne has very lax energy requirements with her burst. Rotations are flexible: Furina E - Q, Kachina E - Q (with Natlan spear), Chiori Q - E - E, Sigewinne E - Q - NA spam. Sigewinne's burst is short so Chiori's tapestry buff won't fall off during it.
I think Chiori should go up a tiny bit instead if down. She got a cinder city buffer with a construct in Kachina an if you got C1 then she can abuse Xilonen instead. Her geo cores got so much better.
Also this is kinda stupid but C2 Xilonen is so good with Goro as to justify bumping him up, though maybe not a full tier.
Chiori needs to even go down in the tierlist because all of her pull value was replaced by Kachina which is a free 4 star.
Even Navia's best partner is already Xilonen/Kachina.
This is a C0 list, not a whale list. C1 should not be a consideration, definitely not C2.

I appreciate your input on the characters. I do want to say though I think you underestimate grouping. just for an example even though most people wouldn't think to use an anemo character with kinich venti's aoe enables kinich to be consistant in aoe with incredible skill multipliers hitting all the enemies. and the swirls for the pyro do a non zero amount of damage and enable bennet as solo pyro. not only kinich benefits greatly from grouping though. otherwise pretty good takes thanks for the video

Sigewinne is amazing on Furina, Nahida + flex main dps teams. Clorinde & Noelle are the main two I use in this team.
I have C2 R1 Nuevillete and C2 R1 Kinich. What I've noticed is that both scale well, but Kinich is a much steeper improvement. At C0 and even C1 he feels ok, but at C2 he feels top tier
The hottest new take has gotta be lowering arlecchino a tier below neuvillette. She out dpses him and comes with a lot of the same comfort, but counters most enemies better because shes pyro (hydro tulpa, thunder manifest, baptist, icewind suite, mountain king, plus the geo ones if you consider her overload teams). She doesnt heal as well but comes with natural damage resistance even at c0. Neuvillette is more comfy for new players for sure but that shouldnt warrant putting him a whole tier higher than arle

Yep agreed, and if ease of use and mainly comfort is coming into play (im like 99% sure it was last tier list) then yeah shes DEFINITELY not up there, neuvilette and mualani are just on another level especially now with xilonen
she still requires you to dodge and play the game with half a brain so that makes her worse. with xilonen and kazuha on neuvilette teams you dont even have to care about most shields. with 76% res shred even if the enemy puts on something like ice armor and boosts there resistances neuvilette with kazuha and xilonen just doesn't care. tulpa is basically the only thing that can stop him.
Going by jstern's calcs, Neuvillette with Xilonen calcs upto 95k dps played optimally. His unoptimized calcs are still above Arle. She is not above him in dmg now, but Mualani sure is.

i think you’re wrong about baizhu his dendro application is enough for hyperbloom, that can be pretty valuable especially since he keeps up with furina, it can just be an extra source of damage in the right teams.

did you watch the video with sound off? jello state that those T1 characters where all at same lvl but aside of that clorinde would still be better than raiden imo. gorou have no use in any team, even mono geo doesnt use him anymore. venti have no use at all for 90+ patchs
Venti does grouping when? I can't remember the last time venti even pulled the enemies properly, not to mention he needs ult just to do simple grouping which doesn't even work
Most of the adjustments you've made were the one's I wanted to discuss about in the comments, you find yourself wondering whether you were valuing mona higher than she should, but as far as what I'm concerned, I would probably even put her one rank above just due to how strong her buff is, even tho it doesn't last as much, due to not requiring it to stack up, it could result in better synergy with those characters who have their dmg mostly front loaded, I find myself going to her more and more often in my c2 raiden teams to leave furina open for the second team. I would argue that Jean should be ranked higher, I've her at c4 but her c2 is what makes characters like klee feel more reactive to play (besides making klee prock her a2 more often), and works really well in kleerina teams (also kills the 5+M hp capibara in 1 minute alone). Speaking of which I've played xiao and wonderer extensively, and from my experience playing klee, i find myself getting better times consistently with her, even while owning c6 faruzan, cloud retainer and c4 jean. Even my noelle performs better in furina teams with maracchusse hunter that the both of them (maybe do to the most cracked artifacts I've being on her like crit dmg circlet with 10.9 crit rate and 29.2 def%) for that reason I would rank down both xiao and wonderer to were noelle stands, valuing their performance almost on par... For klee I'm very conflicted, sometimes i find myself matching or even surpassing raidens times in the abyss, to ensure I wasn't crazy I've timed the time to kill the capybara boss with the both if them, and the times were very similar, which is mind boggling to me... Still, raiden due to said interruption resistance is far more consistent with those times. I would downgrade xingqiu placement all that much, interruption resistance and dmg reduction still comes in handy besides his other perks. Fischl I would probably put her higher for how versitile she is, you can slap her in any team, almost no field time, decent dmg, especially capable of snapshotting buff and take advantage of them even when they expire I would also put dehya higher, I use her in all kinds of situations, when she was released, in spite for the backlash after I found her I challenge myself to use her no matter the situation to see if said claims were remotely true... While everyone was arguing about her dmg i was mainly focussing for her defensive and supportive capability, I found she could make your character survive attacks that would have killed you even with zhongli shield, I found the interruption resistance pretty neat, due to the extent on it, and not being relient on a shield not breaking... I feel like you are overating mualani. She looks great on these speedruns clears which require perfect excecution and a lot of retries, but in reality she least consistent amongst other top dps. On top of that last spiral abyss had huge 80% dmg increase for natlan characters. She is strong no doubt, but i dont see her being better then arlecino.
Have you seen 5.1 runs? C0 Widths Mualani doing top side in 30s. She is a clear step above everyone in speedruns.

I honestly think that Dehya should be much higher now in the tierlist since she’s a really good alternative for Xiangling in Kinich or Mualani teams since her E applies lots of pyro, interruption resistance, damage mitigation, and some buffing. She’s so much easier to build too since she does not need very high ER compared to Xiangling.
100% agreed. Dehya is always underrated, despite the fact that shes becoming more useful as time goes on.
I'd say she deserved to be brought up the list ever since Fontaine. She works so well with Lyney and Neuvillette. I absolutely love using Arlechinno with Dehya because of her damage mitigation!
With every new DPS character release, Dehya has proven to be a great tanky support character

Ngl man I think you're underrating Arlecchino a bit and overrating Mualani a lot when comparing her to Neuvillette. She feels strong for sure but she's not as close to Neuvillette as you're making her out to be. Neuvillette's damage potential even in single target isn't that much lower than someone like Mualani now over a whole rotation, and that's really the only content she's competitive with him in. On my account my C2R1 Mualani feels worse than my Arlecchino but that's probably account dependent.
Neuvillette’s single target damage isn’t just a little worse than Mualani’s. Mualani significantly gaps him at high levels of investment, just check out how their C1/C2 abyss speedrun times differ. And yes speedrunning isn’t the best metric but it does paint the picture.
@@thepieguyftw Per screenshot yes, per rotation no. Her actual DPR isn't significantly higher than Neuvi's in their best teams if at all. The reason she clears so fast in speedruns is because in situations where things go well, she has extremely high frontloaded damage. Neuvillette's is almost perfectly consistent across his damage window, while Mualani can overperform significantly if she is at the damage breakpoint needed to clear a wave before her damage window is over.

If you have C2 Xilinonen, most electro dps move up the tier list insanely. It's fucking insane how much more bursts I get off with Xilonen. Same goes for Geo DPS too.

The ultimate truth is mualani is simply better than arle now and yelan is very impactful for so many teams but I agree arle should be T0 but she is definitely at the bottom of it

arle's best team is herself, bennett, kazuha and xilonen (nobody here is rlly doing dmg but arle), u can also throw zhongli/yelan who will do good personal dmg and there is a lot of flexibility in her team options

Xilonen being able to shread resistances of multiple elements increases the value of SubDPSs like Fischl and Yae a lot, so wouldnt say they are falling off, all the opposite.
Neuvilette vs. Mualani is like Crit 90/140 vs. 50/260. consistency vs. high numbers. either is eternal gods of damage, you just choose if you want more or less risk/reward
Except it's extremely easy to reach 100% crit rate with Mualani who ascends Crit Rate + Obsidian 40%. Not flaming but the comparison is a bit ironic lol.

i think venti's good just requires more skill to use. often one of the halves over the past year have been venti-able, it's just that some of the mobs on the floor gain interruption resistance after certain animations and attacks so there's a short window for his burst to cc. when it does cc (fontaine's new fatui agent's for example) it makes the floor much much easier

Currently at their fullest potential the top 3 dps are Mualani Arle and Neuvi but I don’t think this list is just for dps so I don’t understand why he doesn’t have Arle on T0 with Mualani besides dps Arle provides more by being able to heal herself like Neuvi so if it’s a comfort thing shouldn’t it be Neuvi then Arle ?

Agree with almost everything but I think Baizhu deserves T1 still. My Raiden Nahida Baizhu Yelan team is so brain dead unga bunga that I can’t go back from using it on whichever abyss side is immune to Neuv.
Before I pulled for Xilonen, I slapped the Instructor set on Baizhu for my Mualani vape team and the whole team just went unga bunga with healing and off field damage.
Replace yelan with furina or baizhu with xinqiu and you are perfect.
is your Raiden EM? or do you use Raiden as main DPS?

@@ABC-yj6cy This team can definitely be played with a hybrid Raiden build. I've done that and it works great. EoSF with some EM to trigger hyperbloom and quicken, on fielding Raiden. Hyperbloom still does like 16k with 200EM + 200EM from Nahida. Used that team in Abyss to 36 star multiple times.
Kachina is a perfect scroll set user, because her skill can proc off field and crystalize multiple elements, and refresh duration
Use Venti in Imaginarium Theater where you can't guarantee everyone has access to a Fav Weapon and then tell me he's a bad unit. Homedog is only beaten by Raiden Shogun as a battery which is why the average Ayaka holdout still uses him over Kazuha because they can't be asked to go for ~140+% ER on her.

Yun Jin is the biggest normal attack buffer in the game thanks to the new DEF polearm. If you have her at C3 and on a full defense build with a lvl. 13 burst, she turns Clorinde into a monster.
I respect your opinion but Mualani above Arlecchino is crazy to me. I do actually think Arlecchino has higher damage and to me feels much easier to play. Mualani feels very cope rn.

Dont think i underrate Arle since to me its the second best, ive went all docs, icd Control to vaporize N1 N2... but no she isnt better than Mualani.
She IS better than arle in BOTH single target and aoe. Just a little bit behind neuvi. But with introduction of mavuika she can eventually surpass neuvi, or at least be on a par with him.
I mean currently for dps the top 3 is Mualani Arlecchino Neuvillette. Arle should be in T0 if we are pulling Neuvi for dps but if we are talking comfort too then Arle should be above Mualani because of her self sustain like Neuvi

It would be nice to get a new player/f2p guide but I get that it's more niche content. Something like who to save for from the shop, which DPS are worth investing in, top characters to save for (like in my mind I have to save for furina or zhongli reruns or arlechino since I don't really like nuevi). Maybe all of this is too dependent on who you have on the account though. Would be a neat video to drop around lantern rite/new year. Or maybe which "cores" go well together like yelan furina, xilonen zhongli, xingqui bennet and which dps work well with those cores.

Tighnari is mechanically difficult like Hu Tao, but Hu Tao has a fat ass so people are more willing to learn her mechanics and glaze her up
Tighnari is brain dead easy to use, Controller players just stick to shooting at their feet and let the homing secondary arrows do work

There is no abjective tier list to be fair. My Lyney with Kachina and Zhongli performs better than my C0 Neuvilette and by MILES and it counts 2 4-star units, Chiori if you ant to be extra fancy. Neuvilette him being ''a low investment solid DPS'' is such an overstatement, too many 5* units to buff him that keeps you in shortage for your other teams (still can't believe people play both Kazuha and Xilonen on his team).

I love how none of us wants to admit how bad Venti is just because he's the beloved first archon in the game...
But let's be real, its a pretty terrible 5 star, we shouldn't be afraid to call it for what it is, we all wish he was changed. People keep adding the caveat of "when he can group he's insane" but even then I disagree, he was insane when he could group in 1.0/2.0 but now not only can he never do that but even if he could he feels power-crept out of existence.
But maybe I don't know what I'm saying since I have a pretty mid account.
No you're right , grouping alone is not enough, the game has been focusing more on tanky Bosses and Elites where grouping doesn't do much, and Even in rare abyss rotations where they have multiple AOE chambers in floor 12 you can just brute force content without grouping.
Venti needs to provide some strong offensive buffs (like Kazuha and Sucrose) to deserve a spot with top tier characters

Yeah, Venti is "insane" specifically against the enemies that deal the least damage and are the easiest to kill. And against the enemies that matter, you basically have a 3 character team.
Nah, no way you called him the "beloved first archon" in the game💀...he's hated even outside the meta cuz ppl just simplify his personality and works to a simple one word- "alcoholic" lol. But I agree, even when grouping, he can't group many enemies and Kazuha is basically a powercreep for him in overall case (hard to say this as a Venti fan but it is what it is).
I like him for grunt cc and battery supply for the team. Yes I only really use him in the theater, but I'm still happy I have him in there.

I think Jello forgot that the last abyss gives Mualani 80% dmg and now he thinks she’s way better. It’s fine if he still thinks she’s better but the damage difference isn’t really high to demote Arlecchino. i think Jello is kinda overrating Mualani and forgot that the last abyss gave Mualani more damage. Mualani’s dmg ceiling isn’t that far above anyone else, Hu tao is really close to Mualani and Neuvillette damage wise yet he hasn’t promoted her enough imo.
Sometimes a rotation just doesn't line up exactly right. Sometimes you just need to squeeze out a bit more damage, need a bit more energy, you have to wait for cooldown, or an enemy dodged or stunned you.
Arlecchino... doesn't need to worry about any of that. Her Skill and Burst provide so much flexibility. She will allow any team to have an extended rotation without compromise and craps out damage higher than almost everyone else barring Neuv and Mualani. You're right. She is T0.

@@PenguinsAreColdishjello tierlists are based on a whole lot of factors as he states alot of characters are as high as they are because of a combination of ease of use team synergies and peak and base damage,nowhere does he mention speed runs as a factor,speed run comparisons are one of the lowest priorities to search for before pulling for a character or deciding their place in the meta,but do you know what isn’t?ease of use and team options,and arle is better than mualani in both,took mualani a whole lot of buffs last abyss to compete with arle and still couldn’t hide the fact that her gameplay is one of the clunkiest in the game,add to that the teams where she’s an arle competition require a very narrow set of characters as opposed to arle that can work with way more characters and make a top team with them,am a mualani main but man does she not feel the same with all them 5.0 buffs

Xingqiu is still good in pulling up some other characters rated lower.
Kaveh (instructor EM build forest regalia) nilou xingqiu nahida(prototype amber) can perform similar to kokomi collei without the annoying half poise of ranged characters getting knocked around.
Cyno fischl xingqiu nahida(prototype amber) can allow nahida to on field to finish off low hp enemies along with some hyperblooms from fischl to save up nahida and cyno for next wave of enemies. Double electro and TF set on cyno as well as using his E to funnel energy to fischl makes getting his and fischl burst easy to get up.
Bennett xingqiu fischl kazuha with bennett on firld dps and delaying xingqiu E after kazuha is very strong. It will get even stronger with the EC and overload buffs next patch. Just have slightly less AOE range than like raiden and xiangling.
Next patch, a lot of electro pyro hydro and kazuha will be buffed by the change in those reactions. Maybe even shatter bloom teams for kaveh and albedo.
Sayu (VV EM build fav) furina fischl yae miko is surprisingly better than yae miko aggravate even without the future buffs.
Nah....Im gonna disagree with arlecchino I just got a good pieces for arle (finally gonna stop that shit domain) shes doing 100k 120k per hit with just whitessal (I tested on raiden) so think how good she will be aftwr I got her signature or primordial jade spear... she's way more consistent then mualani so she belongs to T0
Overall besides the clunkiness Mualani DOES do more damage than Arlecchino, without the consistency, so it’s player preference
