artist is an understatement. its a german LEGEND. won 13 times gold and 1 platinum while managing to stay top nr.1 in charts for 7 years. with his first, and only album ever. now with a new album as a comeback. after 14 years. you really have to give his old album a try. its called "stadtaffe" and very single song from it is worth it
Thanks for that reaction 👍 His other solo stuff is also fly as hell, as well as his stuff he did with Seeed. Gotta check that out if you don't know it. ✌️
I came to your channel because of a Dimash video. But I also saw this and had to know what you think. Not many non-Germans know Peter Fox. (Or his band Seeed). Legends! Great reaction 😊❤ Another German Band you could take a look at is Electric Callboy. Pure Fun 😉😊
I’m was looking for German language music to help me learn the language and was so happy to find reggae. It was very unexpected. I was tired of listening to Ramstein. I think there is a fine line between appreciation and appropriation. And sometimes you just like what you like even if it’s not technically your culture. I feel like Peter Fox appreciates the culture personally. But I’m curious what he thinks too.
The key is respect. Respect for the artists, respect for the culture in which this style evolved and of course the history within that development. In a global society culture cannot be locked in itself but must have a chance to spread and to be appreciated. Peace
Wasnt they like a handful Person complaining? Is that considerd heavy criticism . Most People I have seen love this Song. In my Opinion its a Genre of Music like any other. You cant really own Genres of Music. Pop wasnt invented by Germans either nobody complains
@@HenrySimple it doesn't. It's important to recognize the negative impact cultural appropriation can have. Instead of just writing it off as nonsense, you should actually look into it a bit more than just surface level and I promise you you'll understand why a lot of times, people are rightfully upset. There's a difference between sharing culture vs just taking it (and the credit) not all limitations are bad.
My husband and I traveled from Florida to Munich to go to a Seeed concert. Peter Fox is brilliant solo, and amazing with Seeed.
I want to go see him too from Ohio!
This year he is doing his last tour, after which he will stop again. Seeed is unfortunately no longer available
oh wow!

Reflections of that Ring light on your sun shades make you look like a crazy squinting cat sometimes....:-)
This has so many elements from Childish Gambino

Peter Fox faced heavy criticism and accusations of cultural appropriation. I'd love to hear how you feel about that.

The discussion of appropriation only Sets borders/limitations. Best is to influence each other and obviously in a respectful manner.
