Funny you mentioned the bike because he’s singing about how riding his motorbike bring him freedom and gives him happiness.
He's actually singing about that and weed too🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@carmenedou5541 that too lol
😂 and? And did! 😂 gotta have your weed. Makes you think deeper. 😂
@@cynbad69or he speaks French, and understand what the artist is saying.
i came to comment this lol
I love this song! Don’t understand a word but I know every lyric lol
That part!
Whats the name of the song?
@kstylerz it's in the title lol
Becane by Yame
Same!!
He talking rubbish but the song slaps
His voice and this performance continues to give me chills!!!!!!
Jaron you matched his vocals on the chorus perfectly. You sir are a great vocalist and coach.
I didn't know what he or she was
Yame's musical influence must be partially French (old school singers: Aznavour, Leo Ferre etc...), but he also has deep Cameroonian roots, as his father was a professional musician from that country. Insane talent and very original too. Voix magnifique.
Thank you for adding that additional info! 🖤
Africa never fails to amaze me😀. Makes me want to explore more Cameroonian artists..🇨🇲
Oh do you think French and his nationality? Well since Cameroon speaks French and their only influence other than their own would be French or France so you solved a real head scratcher.
Cameroon has more than its own culture and France
All the west of Africa influence each others ignorant
When I found out he was cameroonian like me ..I was so proud ..I can't even explain it
This was my first introduction to this artist......absolutely magnificent. 🔥
Never saw someone describe vocals with that much precision, I'm impressed ! I speak french and I like your content and the positive energy
Uhh bro.. I'm a heavy metal guy. If it's not growling or heavy drums it ain't my thing lol. I will say this caught my eyes and I'm so glad I watched it. You yourself have such a beautiful voice. I think you presented this video extremely well. Thank you for introducing me to this!
Becane is one of my favorite tracks this year, then to have your analysis is the cherry on top.
Love love love this guy! The way he’s not scared to use his voice as an instrument & experiment with different ranges while making funny, laid back relaxing 🎶 *chefs kiss*
Masego’s Colors was wonderful 🥹🥹
Navajo
“You see what I’m saying”
Nope!….but I’m listening
That's what he meant, whity
@@nkosinathindala4745 excuse me?
@@nkosinathindala4745 like what the fuck? hello? 6 people liked this and nobody has said anything? this world is cooked
Finally!!!! Me saying that I love this song is an understatement!. So glad you chose to analyze it.
That part you highlighted in the beginning gives me chills. Every time.
Yame is my fav artist in a long time. accidentally learning some french from singing his music. generational talent for sure.
I'm always amaze how can you imitate those notes and runs!
either low or high! please react to mariah if its over live at grammy, u probably love it, best grammy performance!
yesssss PLZ do more COLORS videos, until morning and bittersweet are good performances.
he definitely covered bittersweet before, you should check it out! i presume ur referring to lianne la havas song, right?
I love your videos because you like the stuff I like about music. The vocal acrobatics, the cadence, the way people play with their voice as an instrument. Haha a lot of times I don’t know what my favorite songs are actually talking about because that’s not why I like it 😂
COLORS is incredible. And I’d love to see you review Moses Sumney’s colors video. His voices is so incredible
Immediately thought of that
I love watching your breakdowns!!
Aw thank you!
I absolutely love his voice
omg i've been waiting on this reaction for a year 😂😂😂🤌🏾
Love every song I’ve heard from Yame. His sound is so unique and interesting.❤
Nao's color performance is not talked about enough for my taste. She is amazing with a unique voice an how she plays with her sound.
Hi J! Glad you did this. I love this song and I don’t understand a word. I now understand how Michael Jackson’s non-English speaking fans felt.
By the way he released an official video with English subtitles. I couldn’t keep up with all of them-they go by so fast. I didn’t bother to much anyway because I watched that Colors video a thousand times already. My 5 year old niece asks me to play it. She loves music too. I love everything you love J, about his singing, vocal play, and melodic delivery. That comes across no matter the language and I’m here for it. Thank J. Love your reviews 🎉
I do not know french. However, this song and individually, this vocal analysis was enoyable. Thanks!
Thank you!
Thanks for doing this Jaron! This is my fave version of this song from Yame :)
It's a great song! :)
whewwww!! thats a great vocal performance!!
Thank you, didn't know this is what I needed today. I can hear the French jazz influence! Love it!
Love this singer! Always gives me chills
This is really neat! I love the music he produced, really unique. ❤ your breakdown is amazing!
Such a great analysis! You match him so accurately! I'd love to hear you react to Jacob Banks, such an incredible, rich vocal depth. Also JNR Williams cover of What a Difference - again, a chilling, unique sound I think you'd appreciate better than most
nice technical vocal breakdown lots of dancehall fusion 70s classic jazz influence
Dude this my 1st time on your channel and I enjoyed the quality of your vid. You sir have a phenomenal voice and this song is just a great vibe.
i dont speak the language but the empathy i can hear through his voice and the lyrics make it beautiful, he conveys so much
Please more from COLORS STUDIO Videos
Love love love this song. And if you've ever watched the official video he is riding his motorcycle and smoking... So that motion that you mentioned was him riding his bike and feeling free...
Ugh the vocal rollercoaster Yame took me on without being fluent in French was lovely. Also felt a lot of French urban culture in this performance❤❤
The way his his emotions fully lead every breath is so entrancing
Love, Love, Love this song!!!
Man you're fun to watch, I can't sing and don't have a particular interest in it, but you make it very entertaining and interesting
He really showed tribal ancestral rifts low-key and hi key
I was waiting for that to be mentioned also some old opera singing voice too
I love the fact that you can recreate everything Yame does with your own vocals. Also you're cute. lol
I love the operatic texture but he also heavily leans in to the African roots of Cameroonian sound. This was great. Your analysis always educate me. ❤❤❤
thank you. i have heard clips and wondered what it was about. i looked up the lyrics and translated to english. Interesting.
Where are his lyrics please share

You literally just put me on to a new artist. His sound is so mesmerizing….don’t understand not one word, but I do know I’m
mesmerized 🥰
Yesss so glad you got to do this one! As for a Colors shows I think you should check out.. perhaps SiR's John Redcorn performance? :)
Love it!! His voice is unique and awesome!! Love the song
Commenting to help bring more views, this analysis is such a treat. Its so beautiful to see someone know how to break something down professionally.
This whole album is fire. I was lucky to snag it on vinyl and I play it often!!
Oh man the analysis of this compared to all other reactions, is so beautiful.
Nice breakdown appreciate your analysis.
Excellent! As always, you are incredible at what you do! Thanks for this!
A couple more COLORS performances I think you’d enjoy:
1) Doechii - stressed
2) Charles Jeffery - devil in a dress
3) Saint Hairston - ego talkin
4) Greengtea Peng - downers
Yesss
These were so good!!
I like yo breakdowns bro.... What helps is how you can reproduce the artist so perfectly...
gorgeous voice incredibly talented God has richly blessed him❤
I love it! Sounds real good
love it great analysis very accuratte well done, (by the way i love your joyfull and enthusiastic energy )
I've been waiting for you to do this one for FOREVER!!!
your the only person i know that can take a 2-3 minute song and turn it into a 10 minute video but still make it so entertaining
You're analysis of the song makes me want to go follow the artist now because at first it was just something beautiful to listen to but I was a singer now I appreciate it even more❤
Love this! Voice expert with a useful podcast.
SERIOUS & FUN = HIS VOCALS👌🏾☺️
Oh I love this! I never heard of him but I'm about to go find all his music now. Lol
This is the first time I heard you sing. You have a great voice coach. Love it! I’m going to subscribe ❤
Glad this breakdown exists. Well done. Favorite thing about the track is his vocal delivery.
Please look at Seinabo Sey EVERYTHING on colors, I love hearing people with real insight talking about the artists I love!
Its crazy how every little thing on earth needs to be / can be/ broken down dissected and studied
Yame 🔥🔥🔥Colors set up an amazing platform
Thanks for putting me on to him gotta find more of his music his voice is amazing
Yes bring more reviews from Colors Studios
c’est incroyable car tu as tout capté sans comprendre les
Paroles …..
Bellah’s Colors performance is so beautiful. Please review 🙏🏿
I don't know anything about music but I love the way you break this down. Subbed my guy.
Such a beautiful emotional real song. He is a great musician. He is also french Congolese I think so that musicality comes through.
I heard once, that the literal physical structure of a native french speakers pallet is shaped by their language. Like anyone who learned french after will always have an accent because their body didnt grow using the french language.
*his style reminds me of a Saxophone*
i dont even sing nor do majority of singers give me chills. but the first time i heard the french doods voice, i was captivated. shit is trans-universal to my ears and sounds intergalactic. i listent o music heavy and appreciate all voice types. but, i had neveer come across a voice like his: listening to French, German, Japanese, or american singers. i wanna hear more but i fell this might be it.
He's doing the move of a bike because '' becane'' is a bike 🚲
Je sors la bécane Di Di de de euhhhhh
Je fume la beuh
Damn. You matched tone and the shifts perfectly in one attempt. That was impressive.
"J'cale l'pétard entre mes dents"
"I hold the joint between my teeth"
I don't speak french but this will forever be the song that taught me how to say "I'm smoking a joint" in french 😂
I have to wonder how much of his tonal quality/phonation come from his missing teeth 🤔
@7:56 Well a few were absent let's be honest. Lol kidding aside, you are now my favorite "vocal review" channel!
haha well I'm honored!
Cinematic Sound
Man I've been waiting for you to do this song, thanks
I'm so happy you are reviewing him. He is my artist for 2024
Love your content so much! Enjoy your analysis. Would absolutely love if you covered all of Jack Skellington's songs in Nightmare Before Christmas like you did with the muses from Disney's Hercules
t'es trop fort , tu le fait trop bien o.o
I love the breakdown!!!
Can you comment on the presence of more air to play with because he is missing teeth and it looks like he has an elongated palate? Almost similarly to Freddy Mercury having a unique space to create sound because of his dental and jaw structure. I love this performance and his mouth is something i cannot stop watching because its like i can almost see him create his sound
That was beautiful I’ll be listening to the song on repeat and singing in French 😂
Dope breakdown new sub
“Volume and vocal fold closure are not the same thing.” SPEAK A WORD!
Can you do Yseult next? This women is also French, but she can blow!
I also request Yseult !! Please !! ❤
This your explanations are on point.
I live in France. Thank you for introducing this artist to me.
You just gained a subscriber fam! I loved this breakdown.
First video i watch of your channel , great analysis , and in my opinion music itself knows no language :D independent of the language we can still feel the meaning of the songs with our soul! French is a language i dont actually like hearing at all , despite understanding it due to being a Latin language like my own (Portuguese) , but Yamês performance on this one is so good it makes me want to listen to this despite the language :D
Also would love to recommend a Portuguese singer that does RnB/HipHop called Ivandro , he is a sensation in Portugal and one of our best new voices , any song from him would be amazing to see analyzed by someone who does not speak the language!
Dope song, love the video too. Not just the Colors performance
Et oui c’est le solfège appliqué la famille. Un bantou exceptionnel. Roule ta bécane cousin.
La bise.
Having studied classical performance, this sounds very operatic, Im intrigued.
