This lyrics have nothing to do with being anti anything. It has a far deeper meaning that, one of unity and love towards all people. He is talking about actually losing touch with nature, thats where man and women where to stay, but they are drifting away from that by Babylon pressure. Accepting that Jah is real, which in itself is a sentence that has very deep meaning on its own if you look at it from a spiritual angle and the rastafari believes about Jah living inside each person, is the way to find a brighter day.

Just randomly thought about Gentleman so i quickly searched for ANY reactions here on YT and there are just two in total... At least two that show up for me in the seach which is kinda crazy. Superior has 8+ million views ^^.

Gentleman is a lot of things - anti-lgbt he is not.
The song is about justice among people - about not goint hungry although you work, for example. And there are a few environmental aspects, as well.

Really? The song was released before the lifetimes of Alexander the Great and Sappho and before the myths of Achilles and Hermaphroditus? Truly astonishing ;)
For as long as written history exists, there are records of LGBT people. Even if you just count Magnus Hirschfeld as the beginning of the modern gay movement, that's still a lot older than Reggae (end of the 19th century versus end of the 1960's).
If I'm not mistaken "Dem Gone" is also an original and not a cover version of an older song, so it came out in 2002. For perspective, Germany had its first openly gay head of a state since 2001.
When backwards people try to tell you that LGBT is just a fad that didn't exist in "the good old days", they just lie, because the actual facts don't support their agenda.
Btw, "man and woman" in the lyrics could just mean humankind, but since Reggae unfortunately often contains homophobia (a fact Gentleman tried to downplay in the past), I think Shae clocked it correctly as anti-LGBT.
