Yeah, Marsch is super motivated to get Canada truly and securely in that 'kings of CONCACAF' spot. I'll always be tough to hold that title with the crazy depth the US enjoys, but Canada is going to be a problem for both Mexico and the US over these next few years - for sure. Really excited about Marsch. I feel like he's seeing things accurately. Very optimistic.

Fantastic to hear that it's great to see some positivity around this hire. Doesn't seem like lots of people are very optimistic around the Marsch hiring. But Marsch should be very motivated to prove himself for his own good to show the USMNT they made the wrong choice and also sides abroad that he still has got it.

Marsch's time with Leeds should be more of a concern to his tactical flexibility than him being American.

Exactly! I was shocked to see the back lash by some supporters around him being American. I will have a video around his tactics and time at Leeds very soon.

I think if Marsch has grown and shows that he can adapt his approach depending on the opponent, it will prove to be a good hire. The high press style that may work at a club level may be extremely problematic at an international level as the game is completely different with players coming from all different systems and structures. Hopefully he has reflected on this since his time at Leeds.

Yeah it'll be extremely important to see if he's been able to adapt tactically and learn from his time with Leeds. The first two friendlies will be extremely telling tactically for Marsch. But our team suits his style of play perfectly.

I don't understand why his nationality is a talking point. People should be thinking about his tactical game and previous experiences

Completely agree! The fact Marsch is American shouldn't be a problem. There is a lot of other things tactically that should've been an initial worry instead of the fact he is American.

Yeah definetly hopefully he can take the full advantage of the great canadian generation. It would be a shame if their talents would go to waste

His nationality is not relevant, it is his experience with Leipzig and Leeds that matters. You see managers managing rival national teams all the time.

It's a lot more relevant to look at his recent success and if he is willing to bend his tactics to this Canadian squad. Yeah exactly and we don't have an abundance of Canadian managers anywhere near that current quality.
