I can't see how someone is putting Pep over Arteta this season when it comes to best manager. Arteta is on top of the league he has the most goals scored and the best defense and has beaten Pep twice already
Omg how would poch be in the top 10. Pep-klopp-arteta-Gary o Neil-de zerbi there’s 5 and Aston Villa’s Emry The girona manager Alonso Ancholotti The inter manager as they are way out in front. That’s 10 already 😂
Pep and Klopp have both played Arteta twice both drew in 90 minutes and lost yet there are both above Arteta. It’s been said Arsenal need a striker but they just broke the premier league record for goals scored in 7 games and have the best defence.

Totally disagree with the Poch name on the list; even Ten Hag is currently better than Pochettino this season. My list would have had Klopp, Arteta, Xhabi, Pep, Emery, Ancelloti, Girona coach Mitchell, big Ange, Tuchel, Luis Enrique
This felt like a Premier League top 10 featuring some of Europe's best managers. Xavi tops his Champions League group and 3rd in La Liga, but Poch making the top 10 is crazy business.
respect Lawrence for Arteta prop as hes criticized constantly for his work when he has done nothing but good for Arsenal. 'pep had injuries' Arteta has had Jesus, Zinchenko, Partey, Timber, Tomiyasu and Vieira out for LARGE periods of time for Arsenal and atleast 5n of them could and would start most games. he isnt out of the CL and is still title challenging even when everyone has written them off. deserves his top 5 spot.
You could argue Sebastian Hoeneß or every second Bundesliga, Serie A or LaLiga manager. Basically people who don't have a billion pound squad and are still better than 10th in the league. Yeah he reached a cup final and lost it wow that doesn't really matter. It's like those guys only know the Prem.
Apart from Poch at 10, Serie A league leader at 6th & Pep being ahead of Arteta, this is an excellent list. (Just move Pep to 6th, Inzaghi to 5th & Arteta to 4th) No way Pep is the best manager this season while EVERY OTHER league leader this season is below him. Sam has lost it.
Eric Roy (Brest), García Pimienta (Las Palmas), Thiago Motta (Bologna), Peter Bosz (PSV), Rúben Amorim (Sporting) all deserve a shout/on this list. 1- Xabi Alonso 2- Simone Inzaghi 3- Pep Guardiola 4- Jurgen Klopp 5- Ruben Amorim 6- Mikel Arteta 7- Michel Garcia 8- Carlo Ancellotti 9- Peter Bosz 10- Unai Emery
Definitely the best list I've seen, though IMO Eric Roy has to be there 100%, arguably in top 5. Brest is a lower midtable/relegation level team, they didn't even stumble across young players who exploded or huge signings (like Michel has with the likes of Savio, or Amorim with Gyokeres, or Hoeness with strikers and bunch of others at Stuttgart, though he's doing a great job too), they're just playing that well.
@@0M0rty yes definitely an argument there, hes doing great things at Brest, as are some of the other names I mentioned at the top. I think I just favoured likes of Amorim and Bosz over Motta, Roy etc is due to competing on all front, not just in the league. Michel is there because they have likes of Blind, Gazzinaga, Juanpe, Garcia, Martin and Stuani that were all rejects elsewhere, nobody wanted them, most free or cheap transfers, most over 32 years old. Savio was playing in Ligue 2, Guttierez let go by Real, Dobvyk cost 9mill and came from Ukraine League. To be competing with likes of Real, Barca etc and their spending power.
We have a lot of great managers breaking out this season and doing miracles with small budgets but yeah the guy who is 10th or 12th with a billion Dollar squad is top 10 because he lost a cup final. Those guys have 0 ball knowlegde.

Do you even know anything about football? How's not signing a player peps fault when clearly they were way above the price we were willing to pay. Pep didn't not sign him, it was the board.
Loz just has PTSD because of that bald man cause his 'GOAT' cries to sleep everyday with his only league title cause Pep won 5 league titles in 6 years and Ilkay made the scousers cry
@@tseringangchok7540 wtf even is a plastic fan. Everyone is a plastic fan by that metric and everyone is a glory hunter. If your answer is well my dad supports this club hence I support it then it makes your dad or his dad the glory hunter cause someone started following that club because they were winning.
And I've not been giving up sleep for 10 years watching games at 3 am for your sorry ass to call me any less of a fan.
someone should like my comment so i can come back at the end of the season to deliberate on this
No way he wanted to put Klopp on number 5
I was feeling Loz frustration especially when the other guy said Pep was his no.1 and Jurgen Klopp has to go 5th 😂😂😂😂😂
1. Alonso
2. Klopp
3. Inzaghi
4. Arteta
5. Pep
6. Ancelotti
7. Michel
8. Emery
9. Postecoglou
10. Hoeneß
The fact that he is talking about pressure, the pressure on Xabi Alonso was to get too four and he is on course to win the league and two other trophies with smaller budget and not the world class players the other people in the top 10 have. So yea he deserves first
1. Xabi Alonso
2. Carlo Ancelotti
3. Jurgen Klopp
4. Simone Inzaghi
5. Michel
6. Ruben Amorim
7. Mikel Arteta
8. Unai Emery
9. Pep Guardiola
10. Ange Postecoglou
This list is about this season
Loz sticking to his point on Pep is class, and he's spot on. 16:28
Do you even know anything about football? How's not signing a player peps fault when clearly they were way above the price we were willing to pay. Pep didn't not sign him, it was the board.

Give over, it's clear Alonso has had the best season so far. 33 games unbeaten, new Bundesliga record set beating bayerns run of 32.
I like this guys argument on Pep being on 6th position, Klopp has injuries too 12 players injured and still top of the EPL. These other guys just loveee Pep
Pep is competing in ucl unlike liverpool
@@ccc5949 also has 115 charges😂
Inzaghi
Ancilotti
Xabi
Klopp
Arteta
Pep
Motta
Michel
Unai
Xavi
The guy on black is top notch... He analyze with accuracy...
The other guy is just bias and doesn't reason well, he just talks out of point
good to see Laurence on shows like this, his channel has been going from strength to strength the past year
Honestly Poch in that list is madness… even Xavi has had a better season. Closing the gap on Girona, in the knockouts in the CL for the first time in three yrs… not saying he’s having a fantastic season, but Poch…. Cmon man
I can't see how someone is putting Pep over Arteta this season when it comes to best manager. Arteta is on top of the league he has the most goals scored and the best defense and has beaten Pep twice already
Sam doesn’t understand it’s based on this season’s performances
Yes he lack’s knowledge
Omg how would poch be in the top 10. Pep-klopp-arteta-Gary o Neil-de zerbi there’s 5 and Aston Villa’s Emry
The girona manager
Alonso
Ancholotti
The inter manager as they are way out in front.
That’s 10 already 😂
Imagine Guardiola in 1st and having Tuchel and Posch in your top 10 managers this season, remove him
Pep and Klopp have both played Arteta twice both drew in 90 minutes and lost yet there are both above Arteta.
It’s been said Arsenal need a striker but they just broke the premier league record for goals scored in 7 games and have the best defence.
No mention of De Zerbi?
they are not that great this season...
@alette7 playing Roma in the last 16 of the UEFA Cup. First time in club history. Not saying he should be in the top 10 but a mention perhaps.
If De Zerbi mentioned then Ten hag also need to be. We talk top 10 Manager across Europe not only in PL !!!🤐
@@alette7complete myth
Personally I think top 5 is
Klopp
Arteta
Alonso
Emery
Pep
Compelling argument against Pep. Inzaghi is having an impresive season. The only ones likely above him are Klopp and Arteta. Michel is an easy 4th!
Alonso plays golf?
Sams Top 10 Right Now:
1: Jose Mourinho 2: Guus Hiddink 3: Thomas Tuchel 4: Roberto Di Matteo 5: Andrew Villas Boas 6: Luis Felipe Scolari 7: Frank Lampard 8: Antonio Conte 9: Maurizio Sarri 10: Emma Hayes
Loz in my opinion had the better list. It actually felt like he was looking at the season only and leaving as much of their legacies behind.
poch at 10 is mental and that's coming from a chelsea fan
Totally disagree with the Poch name on the list; even Ten Hag is currently better than Pochettino this season.
My list would have had Klopp, Arteta, Xhabi, Pep, Emery, Ancelloti, Girona coach Mitchell, big Ange, Tuchel, Luis Enrique
This felt like a Premier League top 10 featuring some of Europe's best managers.
Xavi tops his Champions League group and 3rd in La Liga, but Poch making the top 10 is crazy business.
Sam literally said these are the dudes who did best previous seasons.
I commented this half way through, but the minute he said klopp is 5th really made it show he didn’t understand the assignment
respect Lawrence for Arteta prop as hes criticized constantly for his work when he has done nothing but good for Arsenal.
Pochetino being there and not Thiago Motta is crazyyyy
You could argue Sebastian Hoeneß or every second Bundesliga, Serie A or LaLiga manager. Basically people who don't have a billion pound squad and are still better than 10th in the league. Yeah he reached a cup final and lost it wow that doesn't really matter. It's like those guys only know the Prem.
Apart from Poch at 10, Serie A league leader at 6th & Pep being ahead of Arteta, this is an excellent list. (Just move Pep to 6th, Inzaghi to 5th & Arteta to 4th)
No way Pep is the best manager this season while EVERY OTHER league leader this season is below him. Sam has lost it.
1) Alonso
2) Klopp
3) Pep
4) Carlo
5) Inzaghi
6) Arteta
7) Michel
8) Emery
9) Ange
10) Simeone
Bosz and Hoeneß deserve a shout.
Eric Roy (Brest), García Pimienta (Las Palmas), Thiago Motta (Bologna), Peter Bosz (PSV), Rúben Amorim (Sporting) all deserve a shout/on this list.
1- Xabi Alonso
2- Simone Inzaghi
3- Pep Guardiola
4- Jurgen Klopp
5- Ruben Amorim
6- Mikel Arteta
7- Michel Garcia
8- Carlo Ancellotti
9- Peter Bosz
10- Unai Emery
1.pep 2.carlo ancelotti 3.xabi alonso 4.kloppp 5. Sergio conceicao (porto) 6.luis enrique 7. girona coach 8.inzaghi 9.gasperini 10.emery
Guys like this if you think this better then those gys in video mentioned
Low ball knowledge
Lawrence fighting a battle here to try and make some sense out of this segment.
I would like to see Joe and Smithy make a list once
Sebastian Hoeneß not getting a shout is criminal
For me it’s
1. Alonso
2. Klopp
3. Ancelotti
4. Inzaghi
5. Arteta
6. Pep
7. Emery
8. Michel
9. Ange
10. Enrique
At least two from Thaigo Motta, Sebastian Hoeneß, Ruben Amurim or Peter Bozs deserved to be in the Top 10!!! All four are doing outstanding work at their clubs this season!
Would love to see loz back on a football podcast, I enjoy hearing his insight
Lawrence was literally the only one in the room who knew what they were doing a list about
just Laurence said is like there is a bias on Arsenal in that room,Mikel arteta has done way higher above Pep,
and Mikel should be somewhere around 2nd or 3rd on the list,
Sam messed up in this show
Sky sports: Who is the vest this season?
Sam: Here are 10 managers I know by name and the are well known over the past 10 years.
Lawrence: *an actual list for this season*
Other: *shocked and raging*
No mention of Kieran McKenna at Ipswich is shocking
Love it Loz! Show them what real ball knowledge is 👌
The conversation basically ended with Sam saying Pochettino in 10th😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Wow….
How is anyone not top of their own league above Inzaghi
How was a Poch magnet even available for this list, he’s in the EPL top 10 by goal difference
Pep is not my number 1 manager currently in the game (I’d have him at 2) but I wouldn’t argue too strongly against it. But this season, the 5 leaders of the top 5 leagues, plus Portugal, plus Arteta should be ahead of him.
Logic not bias🤷♂️
How does this bloke Sam get on this show? And do the producers or the hosts not run it by him what he’s been asked to debate? In fairness to them he doesn’t seem capable of understanding simple questions
Absolutely criminal list!
What do you mean by that? Pep, Klopp, Alonso, Inzaghi, Ancelotti, Arteta shouldn't be in that list?
Pochettino was lucky to even get a magnet LMAO
Guardiola has a team man for man better than anyone in the world. Compared to arsenal, only Saka, saliba, and rice get in. They have kdb, haaland injured we have partey, timber, Jesus, zinchenko (throughout the season) and yet we’re 1 point behind
Sam knows less about football than your average fan,he must give some great head.
Getting the opportunities he gets.....
I’m so happy to see Lawrence getting the praise he deserves in the comments. Someone of the other guys suggestions were absolutely shocking. And him shaking his head at the end when he’d have put Pep above Klopp or Alonso was just infuriating
Poch in this list is freaking joke. injuries? have you seen United's injury list yet? still sitting above Chelsea so far.
Would've been a good vid without sam . That chelsea bias is BRAZY
really u are 90% correct the only argument I have is between Pep and Mikel
Mikel should be up and Pep down because of the resource and material they have
Poch 10?
