Swiss Airbus A220 Aborts Takeoff Due to Lufthansa on Runway | Rejected Takeoff 😮

In this Video you will see the Swiss Airbus A220-100 is trying to take off soon after Lufthansa has landed. Swiss A220 Starts to roll down the runway and suddenly applies the brakes and thrust reversers to slow abort the take off because Lufthansa is spotted on the other side of the runway.

Very dangerous, someone dropped the ball here bad, other flight controllers, the Luft pilot or the swiss pilots themselves. This was very dangerous....

I checked the playback on Flightradar24 and when the Swiss A220 started its take-off run, the Lufthansa E190 was already clear of the Runway. So in fact what can be seen in this video is not a Lufthansa on the runway when the Swiss rejected but a Lufthansa on the parallel taxiway. The taxiway and runway in LCY are very close to each other, so it might be hard to distinguish whether a plane is on the runway or taxiway when you look from this angle.
Personally i flew more than 80 times to LCY as an FO and the LCY‘s Controllers are outstanding, so there’s no chance that one of them clears one plane for take off when another one is still on the runway.

@@RankupAviation I will be there the next three days coming in as LH928. But this will be my last trip as Air Dolomiti will take over the flights from Frankfurt. We used to have 4 flights a day, Dolo already took two of those and the other two will be taken over in June.
So no Lufthansa anymore from june on in LCY…☹️
