It's really neat to learn about the vastly different body types that evolved over time. We all have the same basic needs, but came up with fascinating ways to tackle them.
You should do a video on tarantula physiology! Lots of people have them as pets but no one knows how they work rlly. I know they have something called book lungs in their abdomen, don’t have a brain, and I saw someone on fb the other day say their legs curl up when they die as they move through a hydraulic system? The Tarantula Collective guy Richard sometimes tries to talk about this stuff because there’s not much info out there but he’s not a scientist and struggles to access academic resource
What would happen if you grew insects in a sealed, oxygen rich tank? Would they grow larger in one generation because of oxygen access or would they just have the opportunity to evolve to be larger over time?
Follow up question to a previous video unrelated to this one. Previously I had asked how do we know fish like the Coelacanth are more closely related to us than to fish like trout and sharks, to which you responded with "genetic, morphological, and fossil analysis". So my new question is: do you have any sources for us to read further about this analysis?
I'm not sure but in NZ they can be very long and brightly coloured. I've seen one about 9'' to a ft long(?) fully extended. Bright purple with a yellow streak. I saw one recently at night that was much smaller just a couple of inches and a cream striped orange brown. There is a hammerhead 'slug' on YT apparently filmed in Hawaii that is fairly big and an impressive head shape but not as long or as colorful as ones I have seen in NZ, but I have no photographs as they are quite common under logs here at certain times of the year. I think NZ flatworms are invasive pests in some parts of the world. Quite a few species may be undocumented in NZ, they discover new Gecko and skink species every few years too.
@@gigabyte2248 Aww, thank you, Yeah I can manage, I'm just always cold and always out of breath, but it's not too bad and I can still do most things I enjoy doing
Imagine a world where humans had multiple anusses, toilets would have be be a different shape to accommodate different positions and every time you go to the bathroom you would need to think, ok witch hole is it coming out of today
hmm... if a flatworm would have a "thinking" brain like Humans and were to see how Humans are... would they be thankful to have a lot of anus(es?) and not only one? Would they wonder about blood and air? Would they think that heads and 4 outlimbs (arms and legs) were funny and be thankful that they were flatworms and not anything else? What about Snakes and lizards?
When you mentioned that if left outside, they are agents of murder most fowl. Songbirds take a huge population hit from cats. I'm sure southern states' lizard populations are similar.
That's true. That doesn't mean I don't like cats. In the video I was very clear that I love cats and I think they make great pets. They got a great score. Many people even accused me of being biased in favor of cats. Just keep them inside.
Blood? Where we're going, we don't need blood!
Is that a BttF or Event Horizon reference?
Science with clint what would i do without it. I wouldn't know what a toxicognath is, thats for sure!
Or conglobation
*worried vampire noises*
Me @ the title: okay dude, congratulations I guess
Who knew science could be so fun?

Great video Clint. I love your channels
Thank you so much!
What?! That's so nuts! So interesting, thanks!
Thank you for this channel. I wish that everyone on this planet was interested in science.
We need to get Clint and Bill Nye together in a video
I could listen to you talk all day.
Thank you! We should make a playlist for that 😂
Wow, so interesting and disturbing, all at the same time. Thanks Clint!!!
Another stinkin’ rad video for us #sciencegeeks! Thanks Clint!
lol…double duty is a double entendre in this case.😂
Very interesting! Thanks Clint!

Yes, they would. It was tested.

Finally fixed the framerate
Hey I like this channel
Every week new lesson my pleasure
How closely related are flatworms and nematodes?
"you probably have a working circulatory system"...Uhh, kinda? I mean it runs like a tricycle with 2 wheels, but yeah, sort of!
Imagine how much toilet paper you would need...
How big are flatworms?

So rad 😎
Can you make a video on why does the holocene have such perfect climate?
Yes, that's a fun one!
You should have a show like bill nye the science guy
Parthenogenesis vid?
I would hate to see what a flatworm with bad indigestion looks like... yikes
I wish I didn't have blood, would save me from mosquitoes.
'If you're watching this, you probably have a functional circulatory system'
*cries in disability to said circulatory system*
That sounds rough. I hope you're doing OK :)

Do a video explaining why all snakes are lizards.
Here it is: ruclips.net/video/dWPqXlxnki0/видео.html
I'm so glad I don't have MAS syndrome.
Shouldn't the correct plural be Anii?
This is English, not Greek, or what ever. ;-P

I, in fact, am glad I do not have more than one anus, and now I know. Lol

This discourse became too scatalogical. It's just been a weird week Clint. (Edited for enhanced truth)

I am starting to wonder if Clint Explains was only created so Clint can say anus at this point though 🤔 lol
Of course
I'm the first
