You have the best VR fitness channel on youtube and deserve more subscribers. Reaching the fitness community with the concept is challenging. The thoughts of rapid movement with a game console strapped to your head is rather daunting. I'm middle aged and in order to keep off the blood pressure tablets I had to change my lifestyle. Using Les mills, fitxr, powerbeats and now Funfitland for one hour every weekday and changing my diet for the last 2 years has resolved this. Keep up the great work VP
Thank you so so much! It is hard to reach the right audience, but we'll find them ;) I am also working on making my videos more personable so I can connect more - since 85% of my views come from people not subscribed :/ And Great work!! What was the main thing you changed with your diet? Love how VR has helped your health in such a significant way 💜💜👏👏
@@VikingPrincessVR stopped eating between meals , snacking at night, cut back on sweets and crisps and alcohol, all the things we love. It's surprising if you have the will power eventually you don't miss it, keep to a moderation and keep exercising for surprising results, every one is different of course 👍
@Wazzer303 this!! And so much of that is a sugar addiction, too. The first food I weaned myself off 20 years ago was fast food. I get sick if I have any - so I don't want it anymore. Our bodies are amazing and adapts :) But you're making an excellent point - willpower! It does take time to adjust and it's not easy. Super proud of you for making the change 🙌👏👏
Supernatural is my favorite! I've been trying to see how many days in a row I can keep it going! 15 days in a row so far! Sometimes I do just a quick hits if I'm sore and other days when I feel great I do like 30-40 minutes (multiple workouts). Love this content! Thank you for the tips! I think this will help me on my journey!
I'm so glad you found it helpful! I haven't done a review of Supernatural for a while, so I was thinking it's time... but there was already so much information in this one, I'll have to make a separate video on it :P How are you liking the new Mixed Reality feature?
@@VikingPrincessVR It's okay. I honestly just prefer being completely immersed without it. I don't have any pets or kids so I can really enjoy getting lost in the workout. Though I should do their stretching workouts more. I like them, I just usually do basic stretches after cause I get all sweaty in the headset.
Great video! I'm trying to balance VR workout with weight training for weight loss, any tips there on how to find the right balance? (e.g. 3 days strength training, 2 days VR Bodycombat workout?).
Great to hear!! I'll cover more of that in my next video, as that's what I'm switching to as well. Just know that in order to build muscle, you can't be in a caloric deficit - so building and losing weight at the same time is very difficult, which is why most bodybuilders etc go through phases of "bulking and cutting." Weightloss is mostly in diet and lifestyle, so I would focus on gaining other health benefits from my workouts :)
@@VikingPrincessVR Thanks! Mainly my current goal is to preserve the muscle mass I have while losing fat. I know is hard, and the addition of weight training in my intended routine is because I know that a trained muscle even while resting continues to burn calories thus helping accelerate to lose fat. Is that balance of cardio/weight that I'm trying to find.
Great tips! I've been starting my day with Supernatural for almost as long as its been available. I do the new dailys every day before my weight training workout. I'm Jealous of your hiking! I used to hike mountains in San Diego, Ca everyday but now I live in Florida where we have no mountains. =(
What a super fun start to the day! ✨️ And I am super grateful to have access to the mountains. I was just back down there yesterday and did a short climb (still lots of snow in the elevation). It's only an hour from our house - I could never move further away!
Hi. Love your videos and am planning to get quest 3 as well as i want to have fun while doing workouts. just want to know what kind of headstrap do you think is better for active plays and workout activities? Is it better with elite strap or Halo strap?
@aldrincydriexluna5559 Halo staps/Elite traps are the same thing - unless you have a specific one in mind? The Quest 3 is a lot easier to adjust than the 2, so I find the Elite straps very comfortable - as long as you don't tighten it too much :) A lot of people like battery straps, but since don't recommend them for working out as they put a lot of extra stress on your neck. I am glad you're enjoying my videos :) And that's so exciting that you're getting a Quest 3!
All these years of making VR videos and you finally finished 1 week of working out in VR?! J/k, I know what you meant. Good video for those that want to start or restart.
🤣🤣🤣 Well, I usually supplement my VR workouts with other types, like yoga and weights - and I wanted to try and focus each workout in VR in a similar way. Definitely could have gone about it a bit differently, but hopefully it gets the point accross 😊
I don't use a battery strap when working out. The added weight of the headset already ad a lot of stress to the neck, and a battery pack would enhance that
@@VikingPrincessVR I bought a "VR neck power bank" on Amazon, that doesn't add any weight to your head, you just wear the battery around your neck, although sometimes gets a little hot but you can use it with a t-shirt or a towel so you don't feel it that much.
@maximus7288 yes, I have one of those. They are definitely more comfortable, but I still find them moving around too much which is distracting when trying to go all out in a workout.

I can’t find supernatural in the uk app
I also find less mills good but it doesn’t really help you find a workout
@@Louise-xr5ok Unfortunately, Supernatural is only available in North America
