    I agree that some people need a guide but for trekkers, it’s better to do it solo at your speed while doing EBC solo somedays when I would feel tired I would leave the tea house around 10am, or days when I would go faster &trek till night, have a good smoke, stay extra days in incredible places along the way. I'll be surprised if someone would get lost it's a one-way and you'll meet many people

    For real? My friend just trekked EBC and didnt need a guide. She got her permit and had no issues at any gates.

  • @Oridemic
    @Oridemic Год назад +10

    This doesn’t apply to the EBC trek, as this new law doesn’t affect the Solokhumbu region of Nepal.

      ive also read this doesn't apply for EBC, im heading there this November doing the trek SOLO Cant wait

      @@joshuabruton2243 I’m going solo in September. Though I have considered maybe taking a porter. I made the bad mistake of getting a ruck that weighs 8.5 pounds empty. Not sure how I’ll do with altitude so it may be a good idea to have someone to split the load with.

      @@Serg_RHi! I’m planning to do the trek without a travel company. My concern is do we have to book the tea houses in advance? I’m planning to go in March. Thanks!

      @@starrshiified along the way they’ll be plenty of tea houses to choose from no need to book & its common to stay for free if you buy dinner ir breakfast there 👍

    This is a bad idea. Suddenly you cannot go alone or as a couple. A guide may be nice to have, but is also breaking the privacy.
