    I'm a detransitioner and I honestly feel as though I was indoctrinated into a cult. I was unfortunate as I was allowed to take it further than this woman. The worst thing is, the reason why I transitioned was because I didn't understand why I couldn't function like a normal person. Because medical professionals weren't helping me, I had to try and diagnose myself and came to the wrong conclusion that I was trans... Turns out I had undiagnosed autism which was causing significant mental health problems as I couldn't function like the average adult.
    There's no way this women and myself are that unique. Stuff like this is happening to many more people.

I have hope that one day I can still be a mother even if it's through IVF but I will never be able to breastfeed my child. I've definitely heard of people going through all the surgeries and then realising it's too late to detransition, so I am grateful that, regardless of the damage done, it has still been possible for me. Though I 100% agree that it should never have happened in the first place, I just try not to dwell on it or turn myself into a victim as I did that for long enough as a 'trans-person'. That attitude really does not make for a stable person.

    Hi, I'm female aged 48 with a very recent autism diagnosis. In my childhood I was not treated very nicely by the girls, I didn't understand them. I felt rejected by them. I felt I wasn't good enough to be one of them... Boys were way simpler to interact with... I liked playing sports and lego, so I naturally got on with them. I liked football and more boyish stuff. At some point, I rejected my own feminitiy because of the pain that my inability to interact with girls. I thought I should be a boy, that God had got it wrong. I started to refuse to wear dresses, I only had male friends. I was just like a boy in nearly every way. THANK GOODNESS I was born then and not now. I am so sure I would have transitioned. But I have been lucky to have wonderful friends and have done a lot of healing. I'm a mum and that's the best thing that's ever happened to me.

      @al.i.exis0 Год назад +4

      That’s pretty sad to say. Eugenics we’re such a dark and sad time, never happened on terms of the “patients” and killed people in masses. The issue with what we’re dealing with here is not comparable in any way and I think it is an insult to people who lived through times where eugenics we’re comon. I fully see the issue with the theme of this video, but it’s extremely insensitive to compare it eugenics. There are trans people, but the way people are kind of pushed into the direction is very inappropriate due to the immense side effects of treatments and the reality that a lot of young people who are trans turn out not to be. But every and each one of these people wanted these procedures at some point and realized it was the wrong decision, people who were sorted through the sick minds of eugenicists never had a choice and were treated like animals.

      @@al.i.exis0 Your point is partially valid, but eugenics has a very long history, which I emphatically agree is dark and sad, but was - in most times and places - not genocidal. By the time the maniacs in Germany revived their exceptionally perverted variant of it in the 1930s, it was already being discredited in most of Western Civilization. So I think John Glenn's assertion, very broadly speaking, has some merit. It can be a useful exercise to compare barbarism of the past to barbarism today as a way of shaking people out of their uncritical contemporary cultural indoctrination, even if the historical parallel is less than 100% exact.

      Being a tomboy is a totally different thing. There is another element to it. Usually these women have also experienced deep rejection during early childhood. Whereas your quintessential tomboy is an accepted trope in society. You can be a tomboy, and be impervious to the trans agenda, as long as being a tomboy was an acceptable thing in your youth. The vulnerable people are the ones that are, for instance, autistic, or experienced rejection that was in some way related to their latent femininity.

    • @TheEMC99
      @TheEMC99 Год назад +14

      I think that all the time. I was a tomboy until I was 16. It was because I suffered childhood sexual abuse. My older brother was the person who encouraged me to wear dresses. He went out and bought me a Ralph Lauren dress that I wore to school. Truthfully, I knew I was hiding a very curvaceous, tall hourglass figure. Suddenly people who hardly noticed me were paying me a lot of attention. Happily, I couldn't care less about actually pleasing them so it didn't lead to anything more than me feeling more comfortable dressing more femininely. Now I'm a happily married mom of 4 and 1 on the way. Ironically, my husband and I grew up together from like age 5. He liked me even when I was tomboy though he didn't tell me until we were in our early twenties. 😊
      I've breastfed 4 babies including twins. For me it has been and indescribably beautiful experience that I wouldn't trade for anything. I'm not able to give birth naturally. Always by cesarean but I'm beyond thankful that I can carry and breastfeed my babies. It's a unique and irreplaceable gift bestowed on mothers. 💗💗💗

      @@bonniehill9518es, precisely. I developed severe anorexia at 15 and had to be hospitalized for it to save my life. My experience makes clear what’s wrong with “gender-affirming care.”
      Not only did my parents, physicians, nurses, and therapists refuse to let me starve myself to death, they also made efforts to understand the roots of my eating disorder and resolve them. They did not believe that continued starvation-or liposuction for a naturally thin teenager-were solutions or “essential healthcare.”
      Therapists have a responsibility to determine an eating disorder’s underlying cause in part because it’s essential to treatment, but also because they need to be sure their patients are safe. Girls, for example, often present with eating disorders as a result of abuse or a recent assault. That wasn’t the case for me. My parents are wonderful and I was safe. Many kids aren’t so lucky. Healthcare professionals around them have a duty to find out what’s going on.
      Today, a therapist can lose her license and her career because she questions the roots of a teenager’s “gender identity,” even if it is likely that teenager developed gender dysphoria as a result of an assault, ongoing sexual abuse in her home, or in the case of a gay kid, severe homophobia. Instead, she is supposed to smile and accept that the teenager is now a member of the opposite sex and *the only course of action* is to secure irreversible hormones and surgery for a vulnerable teenager.

    • @edoboleyn
      @edoboleyn Год назад +18

      Care for minors with eating disorders is supposed to ensure that they are safe. If you encounter a teenager with anorexia, for example, there is a real chance she or he has suffered an assault or ongoing abuse. You as a provider have a responsibility to do due diligence.
      Contrast that with “gender-affirming care” for minors. Now the state can separate those minors from genuinely loving, safe parents who (rightly) refuse to affirm their new new “identity.”

      We treat their mental dysphoria as the condition that it is... A mental disorder.
      In the same stroke, if someone feels this way and actually is obese, maybe they need treatment (via a gastric band for example).
      That said, the majority of anorexic people need mental treatment, not physical.
      I see trans the same way...
      SOME people who are "trans" really are and the treatment will do them well. Most others are just needing mental treatment (at least before surgery/hormones). Unfortunately, the woke disease means that any attempt at psychological treatment is verboten. As such, there will be very many people getting things done to their body - serious things - that should not in any way be the first, go to option.

      The issue is treating the condition and not the person.

      @@LlibertarianGalt It depends on the person, but generally, treating the condition _is_ treating the person. My dysphoria wasn't resolved through training in emotional regulation, stress management, etc. It still isn't resolved, but it was significantly mitigated through things like cross-sex HRT. There are a lot of people your words are applicable to, but let's also keep in mind that there are those of us who needed to transition because there was no other option. Not because we were caught up in some kind of gender ideology or what have you.

    • @katjapvl
      @katjapvl 2 года назад +8

      I experience it as a mental condition (it being gender dysphoria, gender identity disorder, or whatever you want to call it), but having tried everything in the hopes of avoiding a transition of any kind, that ultimately wasn't possible. I started cross-sex HRT and that did what decades of counselling, coping strategies, education, and so forth, couldn't -- mitigated my depression, and I felt like a person. Oh, and just because it's a mental condition doesn't mean it isn't a medical condition. I've been on 'same-sex' HRT and that significantly worsened my experience of dysphoria. I don't think that was wholly psychosomatic, and I do think it suggests a biological root of some kind.
      'These people' like me aren't a homogenous group. There are of course people who are being encouraged toward transition, and just as those people shouldn't be pushed in that direction, so too there are those who transition because it was exactly the 'help' they needed. That I needed. I say that regretfully because transitioning isn't something I ever wanted for myself, but c'est la vie elle me dit. We also aren't a group to look down on, as if we're being done a favour by those more fortunate and holy than we are.

Of course, if their gender dysphoria is severe (and they have enough cash or enough free healthcare), then it may even be worth it to them to go through multiple surgeries and complications, but the problem is that many who are not severe cases may end up going through this stuff and then obviously regretting it due to the physical pain and trauma rather than mental.

    We're gaslighted into believing that all future relationships will be straightforward. The lie of an easy surgical fix for a deeper problem. Anyone who raises concerns about this is howled down as being "transphobic" when it's nothing of the sort.
    It's been recognised that with the rise in labiaplasty among young women deceived into thinking that what they see in airbrushed images and porn is the norm, is a deep grief of damaged nerve function and loss of sensation, or pain from delicate tissue pulled tight.
    In one article that I read in 2012, it said that there needs to be extensive psychological counseling for anyone who seeks this surgery, and it shouldn't ever be rushed into, as deep psychological harm can be inflicted where tissue damage is inflicted, and the lifelong relationship impacts that it has cannot be underestimated.

    Thank you for talking about autism. You described my son to a t. His special school has recently signed up to a LGBTQ scheme which is worrying in itself. The reason they did this is the school inspectors (OFSTED) recently identified that their "LGBTQ+ provision" was lacking. So the Conservative government in the UK pretends to be gender critical, meanwhile their own school inspectors are blackmailing state schools full of vulnerable children into indoctrinating them in this madness and to hell with the consequences. Where's the accountability?! Where's the justice?

The handful that are exceptional are to be treasured (like the best nurses), but it would be difficult to have worked in 'health care' all those years and admit what one was part of. In the US, the AAP had surgeons catheterizing infants' hearts without anesthesia until 1987, because some of them still maintained 'babies up to 18 months old do not have developed enough nerves to feel pain, like a fish' (as a fish breeder and mother that one galls- how stupid can they be?) Some nurse strapped down every baby boy whose parents were successfully solicited to request a genital mutilation, and some doctor did the carving - there is great wickedness and depravity in your field. But great goodness and courage as well. But *not as many as the former* .

    16 years ago, as a teenager, I was, like many other young girls, afraid of growing up and becoming a woman and having my body change. Back in the days, the solution was starving: what was trendying was anorexia. Not the glamorous, Hollywood type of anorexia, with those "heroin chic" girls like Kate Moss and other Nicole Richie and Olsen sisters. No, the one through which you tried to disappear and look like a sack of bones. Back in the days, early 2000s, this was quite a popular disease. Having no social media, we were using forums, myspace, deviantart and even yahoo groups to communicate and encourage each other into starving. I was hospitalized with many girls who, just like me, weren't trying to look beautiful, but to look sick and decaying instead. 27 months in total over the course of 3 years and a total of 11 years of EDs. It appears to me that the new trend for young people hating the way they look is transidentity. To note that, if girls seem to transition into boys to erase their femininity, boys seem to want to transition to girls to embrace a fantasized idea of what femininity should look like (I am yet to see a trans woman looking like a regular woman, without flamboyant attributes) meanwhile rejecting the weight of masculinity. Back in those days, such boys were just emos and usually gay, although not always.

      Yes!!! That is what i am saying as well. Trans is the new anorexia. When I went to high school (98-02) half of the girls in my class were either anorexic or bulimic. It was a way of connecting to that feeling of not belonging that most of us had. And the sad part is that then, as well as now, it is all connected with erasing womenhood mostly.. Girls back then didn't want womens attributes, girls now want to become boys... Its always the same root. We haven't grown one bit as a society, we only became more barbaric about the approach.

      Think about this. In the 90’s/early 2000’s anorexia and bulimia were “trendy” diseases for girls and young women. In the late 2000’s and early 2010’s eating disorders started to vanish, but were replaced with self-harm and/or mental illness. As a teen in the the early 2010’s I remember every girl or young woman who “didn’t fit in” (just like myself back then) either self-harmed or had anxiety/depression. Now young women and girls want to transition.
      Why all these “diseases”? Because being a woman/womanhood is constantly under attack. If you have opinions you are b*tch, but if you don’t you are a loser. If you’re s*xy and have slept with many people you are a sl*t, but if you don’t you’re boring and will never get laid. If you’re very feminine you are weak, superficial and probably gossip about everyone, but if you’re masculine you’re a lesbian/not perceived as a woman or girl. I could go on about the expectations to women and girls.
      This is a general problem that no one seems to care about. Instead we belittle girls and women for having periods “urgh guess it’s her time of the month”. And whenever we address an issue, we are called hysterical and weak. Jobs that have traditionally been “women’s jobs” are underpaid. We are more likely to get k*lled/r*ped by our partners.
      And now there is a left-wing ideology labelling “woman” some kind of costume everyone can put on as they please - and if you say anything against it, YOU are the problem. On the other hand there’s a right-wing ideology that almost seems to want a Handmaiden’s Tale dystopia where women are reduced to the reproductive function and stripped of their rights.
      Sorry for the rant, I’m just so fed up with all the bullshit women and girls have to endure.

    This lovely woman explains all the physical and medical reasons this trend is harmful, which is very important. It truly is akin to the practice of lobotomies to treat mental illness. Often specific symptoms did stop after a lobotomy, but so did the experience of a meaningful engaged life. We cannot stand aside as most often very young people are receiving medical treatments which will destroy their long term health. All while their mental health challenges are simply ignored.

    After watching this I went to Rumble to watch one of the videos on I Am Jazz and her reaction. I have felt for the longest time the trans thing with young kids was a trendy/in thing to do to be with the in-crowd. Many years ago I knew 2 transsexuals. At the time, both had to live as women for a year and go through all kinds of psychotherapy, which totally seems to be lacking in the current incarnation. The show seems to be like a Trans version of the Kardashians or more accurately a new starting point from the Bruce/Caitlin situation. Going through something so huge in your life and having you and your family' filmed during it is very strange. There are actually several videos on the show. The mother is the textbook example of Munchausen's by Proxy, a very twisted stage mother.
