    I've been eyeing this little guy for a couple years now. I think I'm ready to pull the trigger. Such a simple yet flexible tool when paired with friends.

      What's up man!!!! You can definitely get a lot of use out of it if you're up for it!

      You will be amezed how much you can do with the MG especially if you have a good sequencer with cc commands and parameter lock.

      @@LUCIDLINES_MIXED_MEDIA Hmmm..sounds like a good match for the Octatrack or M8.

    Microgranny is great if you want to create really obscure sounds

    This is my go to Microgranny inspiration video. Taking mine out on the boat for a sunset fishing session.

    Talking about samplers I’ve noticed you don’t use any EMU samplers like the E5000 or E6400 Ultra, is there a reason for this?

      he has an ESI sampler and did a couple videos with it

      It’s a Financial investment to own many of these old machines. I suppose we have to specialize a bit, to not be indebted to our hobby. I think the amazing thing about ensoniq machines is that they are pigeonholed as hip hop machines. They really are so much more versatile. It’s why I follow Daydream Sound.

    These look fantastic, as I understand it they don't have an internal speaker but can be used standalone - does anyome know if I could play this through a bluetooth speaker?

    the microgranny is great, but I gave up on giving hard earned $ to companies like bastl who are calling their products "lofi" just to cut on component quality. MG is cheaper and that is fine, but what about their THYME box which costs more than 500 euro and still has compromised, noise bleeding circuits and crackling (not because of dirt) pots?

    • @dillipphunbar7924
      @dillipphunbar7924 3 года назад

      Yeah, Lofi is just this buzzword to coverup unwanted distortion and the MG has plenty of it. I like playing with mine and get lost in the craziness, but it does benefit from filtering. Also the naming and transfering of files is a pain in the A.
