Looks good. I like the design overall. I cannot tell you how often i have dumped parts bins on accident. Thank you for not going lazy and using a 3D printer!!

    That "yeeep" moment at 12:31....
I felt that, we all live that moment on our skins once or twice.

Thank you for showing the mistakes and failures. This makes me feel better when my projects don’t work out as well as what I see online

We're not perfect 😉 we make mistakes, and that's okay :-)

@@jhminiatures7867 Every mistake (or rather happy little accident) is a great learning opportunity and just another step towards the solution. 😉
We really have to re-think our mistake perception and mistake culture... in each part of life. 😊

For filling your gaps, try the latex caulk used in bathrooms and kitchens. Slightly flexible, adheres well, doesn't shrink and will take paint. Don't get the silicone caulk, it will not take paint.

Good on you going back to make this video! Although, I was getting unpleasant flashbacks to my diary bottle build when you were breaking down the plastic bottle. Nothing wants to stick to it!

One trick I accidently taught myself, is covering pesky non-stick plastic with some plastic or paper tape (painters tape can be got from wrinkly to super smooth). Especially when you can wrap it completely around something, it itself stays on nicely, and it takes paint much better.

I’m not familiar with either channel, but I will say this, this channels ship has a much batter design shape, the other guys ship has a lot more time buried in it. but aesthetically speaking, just in coolness of design, this channel wins in my humble opinion. His ship didn’t even look like it could fly (besides the fact it was in fact actually crashed)

Here is a huge unknown tip for you, you can use cigarette ashes from the ashtray instead of bicarbonate. Works better actually. Everyone of you reading this are welcome. Careful of the fumes.🎄🎅🎄

To clear blockages in tubes of superglue, I just keep a 1mm drill handy.

Another way to find the angle of a crash/ submerge is to literally submerge it, supplies pending. You can use sand or sugar to bury the ship and trace the "water line" or if the material allows, use actual water in a sink. Alternatively press the model into a comforter or blanket (or squishy pillow) and trace the waterline as best you can

I tend to use a Gorilla Glue Epoxy. It has the consistency of rubber cement, and it takes a bit to dry, but it also gives you some work time to adjust the positions of things or even just removed them and wipe the glue off if what you did doesn't actually look all that good. Plus, once it does set... yeah you're not removing what you glued.
