- Fitting a TD04-13T turbo cartridge off an e39 into my td04-11g exhaust and compressor housings
Both the oil feed and return needed modified
The butt dyno says it definately feels better
great project, I got myself a 525tds from 94 and I would like to know what this exhaust manifold was and if any changes were necessary

@@jrmfabrications UK version of the car has the turbo on top so the steering rod can pass underneath.
how did you make the exhaust manifold to face the turbo up? i'm trying to figure this out for me can you please tell me?
@@Bikestudio_ct the uk spec car had a top mount turbo manifold from factory
It is not the best idea to put the 13T-4 into a 11G-4 housing. I have a used turbo from both.
There is a very tiny difference in the two housings, you may put only a used cartridge, (as you did) because it is a bit smaller by the using.
I bought a new cartridge for 13T-4 and totally perfect in the 13T-4 housing but in the 11G-4 it is touching.
So be careful with it :)
