You only have to fight it if you haven't gotten the neccesary enemies killed to the point of their fight, I didn't have to kill it. Btw you don't have to kill El bailador either lol

Its better to do the genocide route again so you can get the golden bandana and save the healing items. Then, I think its just luck. In her phase two, you can heal without items in ACT. Soo, good luck

It took about seven years for this fan game to come out, and you can just feel the love and effort coming from every corner when you play it, to the point where I consider it canon to the Undertale universe (as silly as that may sound). I can't even decide what my favorite boss theme is, although it does come down to Flowey's first phase, Ceroba's Kitsune Form, and Zenith Martlet's first phase (which is better than Megalovania IMO).
Wow 7 years? They really made it pay off and this ost is great full of awesome boss themes for sure this did felt a little bit canon As for my favorites they are definitely Martlet Pacifist, Flowey Phase 1, Dalv, Axis, Ceroba Kitsune Form, & Zenith Martlet Phase 1 gives me mega Man X vibes and I love it so much and definitely agree I think Megalovania is overrated tbh.

I do like Megalovania, and though it is overrated, overused, overblown, and so on, I do respect it's development (going from a Rom Hack to being in Smash Bros. is not something any song can do). Also, I've been planning on doing an All Boss Themes video of my own for a series, but due to how many games and songs there are in that franchise I'm unsure if it should be in one video or split up across some of the games.

Also, Alucard backwards is... DRACULA?!! Martlet: Storm Eagle's lovable goofus of a second cousin... I mean, the guy who worked on her themes did a banger remix of Storm Eagle's theme that solely spawned a Terminalmontage animation of Storm Eagle and X having a music battle. El Bailador: The best character ever. The Feisty Four: Wait, is that Undyne's sister? AND A TANUKI?! Starlo: Yellow Fellow Redemption. Guardener: Castle in the Sky is my favorite Ghibli movie. Axis: Heh... Droids. Damaged Axis: Do robots feel fear? Ceroba: I suppose the saying "clever as a fox" doesn't apply here. Like why would you do an untested trial on your own child? I don't think monsters knew about the ruins entrance, or it would probably be guarded in case of humans falling down. Edit: In UTY, this is confirmed by Dalv in the Neutral/Pacifist route, where he says there are bo accessible entrances orther than the door of his house, but this could refer to accessing the Dark Ruins, the part of the Ruins where the vampire-like monster lives
Ah yes, I just love looking at Specimen Flowey, he's just so pleasant to look at and not at all uncanny in any way at all. All jokes aside, his artwork and the six other specimens are actually insanely impressive
Every time I want to cry when I hear the genocide Ceroba theme. A melody of pain of a mother fox losing her family and now even her childhood best friend. Who now literally has nothing left to lose. The part of the tune at 23:20 especially makes me cry ; (
Hearing dalv's theme just makes me so happy. I played the very first demos of undertale yellow back when i was back in middle school and only the dark ruins was complete and it was finished after leaving his house. It has come a long way since then.
I’m on my first playthrough right now and the music is so good, I laughed out loud when the flavor text for Martlet says that she’s finding herself lost in the music, that was exactly what was happening to me lol
I love how UTY actually has more genocide bosses, rather than Undertale, which has 2. (What I mean is that in the normal Undertale everyone goes down in one hit except for Undyne the Undying, and Sans is the final boss)
I love how there are noticeable differences between paths in the boss themes, it's the essence of Undertale to use the Motiffs. I can notice it more in Marlet, that the instruments used in the Pacifist are in the Genocidal but they are very few. I interpret that to mean the fact that, genocidal or not, Marlet still thinks we're a very, very good person deep down.

When I first saw the designs for all the Undertale Yeallow characters, I thought that one guy from the Feisty Four (I forgot his name) was literally just Undyne’s brother. I actually don’t know, but I don’t think he’s meant to be her brother, since I’ve never played the game. (Also for an Undertale fan game, this has an amazing soundtrack)

At the beginning, you find out how much love she has for her family. At the end, you realise how much LoVe she has for you. Level of violence type love.
The little chittering noise in martlets (pacifist) theme can be interpreted as her beak chattering because of how cold it is. As well in her geno theme there is no chattering implying that she is not cold because she is not focused on that as much as taking you down.
And I noticed in axis (pacifist) theme that he is playing it himself because in the game it says at one point “axis thinks this music isn’t his style” and the big claps in his theme could be the energy balls he forms to attack you using his power or possibly him accidentally failing to create one so it explodes. Maybe even you deflecting said energy balls.
We can finally see Martlet’s bare feet when she transforms with the serum. They are just like those of a real-life bird. What if she’s a real martlet and got prosthetic legs with realistic talons so that she didn’t have to constantly fly? That would actually be really deep, giving up on the one purpose of being a martlet to join the royal guard.
I wish I could, my crappy chromebook can't download files from gamejolt... I have seen a full playthrough of every route unedited though, so I kinda know the experience I guess

I actually like the idea that the final boss of an route become the boss on the middle if the game and harder an their pacifist version. Also, it's also cool to see an version where she's fighting for an good reason.
I mean that would mean there would be no ceroba fight in genocide, honestly, the idea of Starlo dying so ceroba just tackles you with everything she has is a good concept
Fighting Starlo would be cool, but at the same time I wish you got a chance to abort Genocide by throwing away your shot, and it would be like a flawed Genocide. Personally would call it "Redemption Route" I suppose it could be done by doing Genocide, and then aborting it halfway through the game and sparing everyone else.

I don't think monsters knew about the ruins entrance, or it would probably be guarded in case of humans falling down.
Edit: In UTY, this is confirmed by Dalv in the Neutral/Pacifist route, where he says there are bo accessible entrances orther than the door of his house, but this could refer to accessing the Dark Ruins, the part of the Ruins where the vampire-like monster lives

Hearing dalv's theme just makes me so happy. I played the very first demos of undertale yellow back when i was back in middle school and only the dark ruins was complete and it was finished after leaving his house. It has come a long way since then.

I love how there are noticeable differences between paths in the boss themes, it's the essence of Undertale to use the Motiffs.
I can notice it more in Marlet, that the instruments used in the Pacifist are in the Genocidal but they are very few.
I interpret that to mean the fact that, genocidal or not, Marlet still thinks we're a very, very good person deep down.
Unless we go totally genocide she stop believing in us putting up a last epic fight
Zenith Marlet doesn't see any good in you, not anymore, which is, in a way, signaled to you, the PLAYER, with pure metal guitar.
I think Zenith Marlet still sees goodness in ya, at least until the Phase 2.

When I first saw the designs for all the Undertale Yeallow characters, I thought that one guy from the Feisty Four (I forgot his name) was literally just Undyne’s brother. I actually don’t know, but I don’t think he’s meant to be her brother, since I’ve never played the game.
(Also for an Undertale fan game, this has an amazing soundtrack)

The little chittering noise in martlets (pacifist) theme can be interpreted as her beak chattering because of how cold it is. As well in her geno theme there is no chattering implying that she is not cold because she is not focused on that as much as taking you down.

And I noticed in axis (pacifist) theme that he is playing it himself because in the game it says at one point “axis thinks this music isn’t his style” and the big claps in his theme could be the energy balls he forms to attack you using his power or possibly him accidentally failing to create one so it explodes. Maybe even you deflecting said energy balls.

We can finally see Martlet’s bare feet when she transforms with the serum. They are just like those of a real-life bird. What if she’s a real martlet and got prosthetic legs with realistic talons so that she didn’t have to constantly fly?
