    The big question is, is what you got out just a drop in the bucket or is it a good portion of the sediment in the tank? Certainly no harm doing this.

      True, may need to do it a few times to get it all out.

      It’s a “Water Heater” … not a HOT Water Heater! Why would you need to heat hot water?

      Though no expert, I honestly think this would remove very little of the solids in the tank. They need stirring in some way to get them to move out.

      @@buddyboy4x44 The fresh water coming into the tank helps.
