I hope white parents of children of color are having these uncomfortable, challenging, yet necessary conversations with their children about the history of racism and the many faces it wears today.
I hope white parents of children of color are equipping their children with how to respond when faced with bigotry, discrimination, and racism.
I hope white parents of children of color are actively doing the work to be anti-racist and to show up for their kids, when they are children and adults facing racial trauma.
