    It was trail’s primary and miss. Coach started screaming at lead. And yes lead flinched with a foul but it’s not his primary. And was it Teddy in C?

      Trail missed the call Uconn coach was out of his coaching box which is why he got the one T yelling at the lead. Not his call to male and its not in his PCA

    The no-call was ludicrous, and Coach Ollie had every right to be upset. However, no coach, no matter the circumstance, can be allowed to leave the coaching box and run clear around to the end line without some consequences. Had he complained from the bench, he might've gotten a technical but he would've stayed in the game. From a referee standpoint, missed call or no, this was a no-brainer. There are calls missed every game, some as bad as this one. Sometimes, a coach needs to bite the bullet and stay with his team. It didn't make a difference here, Louisville still won. But in a close game, that could be the difference maker.

    I just recently graduated from UConn and was at this game, I was absolutley deafening with boo's Gampel was shaking, then 90% of the crowd broke into the "ref you suck" chant, which was also insanely loud... this is the first time seeing this in a while i forgot how bad it was hahah

    Shooter created the contact... Great no call. Defender has the right to jump on his own space. Shooter entered defender's space trying to draw a whistle. Great no call!!!

    Yes there was contact but the player wasn’t shooting so they were probably going for a play on
    And if you slow it down the ball handler initiates the contact with the player in the air

    Looks like he raised his arm slightly thinking about calling a foul. Probably the trail ref's call tho-

    Seamus, you did it perfectly. I am a college official & unfortunately, we all miss calls but that reaction was not acceptable. But the refs messed up so bad, they're supposed to wack him, then get the hell away from him. SMH. Missed that call, down 9, coulda made it down 6, but now they wack and give Louisville 4 shots and the ball.

      Not how it works, you don't get to act like an assclown and swear at an official over one missed call. No one on the basketball court is perfect, including the officials. There's a right way and a wrong way to show your displeasure, Ollie went off the rails here.

      KewlDad of course no one is perfect, but you blow a completely obvious call, you should be prepared to take heat. it's not like he yelled at him for nothing. if he doesn't blow an obvious call there no reason to get upset. We don't get to throw you out for referees smug attitude. Games not about them, sick it up thin skin. It's funny players and coaches answer after games to media for their performance, but referrees disappear bc they cant be touched, aren't tough enough to answer for their mistakes

      KewlDad if you were at the game this was one of many, try to rewatch it. He was heated before this.

    Honestly, I don't blame Dick Vitale for getting upset about this bullshit ejection on Kevin Ollie.

    I can understand ollies dismay, but you still can't be a bad sport. He deserved them. And it's confirmed by vitale disagreeing with me.

    It was definitely a missed call but his actions were unacceptable and deserved a technical. You can't see his lips but if he cursed at all that would've been an automatic technical.

    Ok, ref missed a call. Happens. But to act that way towards a coach is intensely unprofessional. Immature and unprofessional.

    It looked like a make up no-call because of that missed illegal screen that got that shooter open in the first place...

    Worst no call in basketball history

    • @gregb612
      @gregb612 10 лет назад +3

      By far from the worst... but it was a bad call! And for once, Dicky V is right, you have to allow a coach to get upset at the chance of firing up his team.

  • @satinwhip

    To get that upset over a missed call like that - this coach has anger management issues.

    That ref is getting paid or needs glasses badly. He doesn't deserve to have that shirt on. He's looking right at it.

    I am a Louisville fan and have to call that a foul... My question is, What the hell is the cop doing on the floor trailing your coach? He has no business there at all!

    • @islandblader
      @islandblader 9 лет назад +3

      That's common in basketball when someone is ejected, they get escorted out. Happens in football too.

    • @jordanmoore1850
      @jordanmoore1850 9 лет назад +6

      Once someone is ejected, they are no longer considered coach or player, but a spectator, and plus for the safety of the ref a cop will always be there

    • @michaelhogg229
      @michaelhogg229 7 лет назад

      I agree with that and also the escort the officials on and off the court before during and after the game!
