The Miata is SOLD and the Honda's Need HELP | Time for an Update!

- In today's video, we talk about what happened with the Miata and what's going on with the Honda builds! I've always thought that owning multiple cars would be awesome, but it's created a lot more work and time I don't have. So sit back, relax, and let me explain.
It's true, the Mazda Miata has been SOLD! I hoped for the best with creating content on that car, but I think I'm destined to stick with Honda's (for the most part). After detailing and restoring that Miata back to life, I realized it made the most sense to sell it in my current situation. For what it's worth, I had an absolute blast driving that Miata and cleaning it up, but it's off to a better home. So in this video I give you a quick and final review of the Miata and if I would own one in the future.
So, did I CRASH the Civic? Despite many people thinking that, it actually just went in for some paint work haha. I mentioned in one of my previous videos that the clear coat on the Civic was failing, and I pulled the trigger to have the Roof, Hood, and front Bumper resprayed at Auto Express in Boise. The result? Amazing. Never thought I would see this Civic build with more new paint on it and it might be the best it's ever looked.
Now for the Acura RSX. This car is at the pinnacle point of age and milage that things are starting to fail. Motor mounts, bushings, etc. So with all the cool stuff I've been doing to the car, there's always been something coming up that needs to be fixed before I can move forward again. It's been this way for a couple months, so I'm hoping I can get this car back on the right track for content.

As I’m literally publishing this video, I also just diagnosed that the front engine mount on the RSX is toast and the CMC is now leaking lol. Like I said, I fix one thing, and it turns into another thing. But hey, it’s always a fun time here! Thank you all for watching, even if it’s me rambling for 17 minutes. Love you!
Cmc is a common failure point, I mentioned to you before that mine blew up when I was doing a pull once. Recommend hybrid racing em1 cmc kit. You can get it with the slave but I just went with the cmc. With your mileage though might just be safer to go with cmc and slave. Have always enjoyed the videos and have been a huge fan for the longest time. I would watch the videos when I myself had a 03 civic coupe years ago and now I follow you with an 06 type s as well.
Hello. I've got a question regarding the newer gen civics as in 2012. I'm looking for a fitment such as the one you have on the red civic however when I look for resources I'm unable to find anyone running anything smaller than a 17. I like the look of the meatier tire but the flush look that you have. Any recommendations on size and fitment? Maybe wheel style as well? I'm more of a JDM look style of a guy. Not wanting to run a huge rim at all, Just keep it clean. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
I Recommend the vibratechnic mounts. Had hasport motor mounts and they make the car unbearable to drive daily with the vibrations. Vibratechnic motor mounts will make vibrations barely noticeable and with ac on there will be a slight vibration at idle. Unfortunately, vibratechnic doesn't sell a front mount but the oem w/vibratechnics are a great set-up. Cmc, get one without the triangle tumor and a slave without a delay orifice, which causes the slight delay at high rpm shifts.
Second the vibratecnics. My 05 Type S is at the shop currently getting the last bits for a full suspension restomod, as well as new brakes.
Third the vibratechnic mounts. I have them on my s2000 & they’re great. Had hasport mounts previously & wasn’t satisfied with them. The vibratechnics are the way to go, and they’re beautiful

I just found your channel through some old videos about the civic, I love it, I just picked up a 2000 civic lx sedan with 98k miles as my daily, I owned a coupe ex back in 2016-2018 and I regret getting rid of it after it blew, I'm super excited to build my new one with more knowledge of cars and make it beautiful like you've made yours!
The paint came out AMAZING !! I had a red 1991 Honda CRX.... I miss that car. Honda makes a killer red and your Civic is top shelf.

Good thing you did your research. I put full hasport mounts on. They do their job of keeping the engine still. They do it a bit too well lol. EVERYTHING vibrates. But at least they will out last the car now.
Lol for the past 2 years, i have been dealing with all of the bushing death on my RSX. Pretty much have all new parts installed. Just had the engine rebuilt at 226k miles. (Timing chain was rubbing, pistion rings were done and valve housings were done) hopefully next year i can get the whole car repainted, i hate how it looks right now.

In the last 2 weeks, I've replaced the front upper and lower control arms, inner and outer tie rods, and new suspension all around dropping the car. Today I worked up the nerve to pressure wash the engine bay for the first time in the cars 31 years of life. I wish I would have gotten before and after photos, but I honestly didn't expect it to come out that clean without any chemicals and brushes yet. I'll have to take some photos when I go and clean it more.

The new paint on the Civic looks dope Anthony and is making me want to respray the hood and bumper on the Redline because all the damn rock chips. Before that happens I would love to find a shop in this region that can do a Saturn emblem delete on the hood to give the car a cleaner appearance.

yea no kidding my em2"s control arm bushings are completely blown for over 2 years ow and it still drives great just clunks when im turning while driving through potholes

Any plans for the civic engine wise? Swap possibly?? I know b series swaps aren’t that hard to do it’s just everything is so expensive for b series right now. honestly i enjoyed the miata content but not for the car. I think a lot of people would be interested in seeing you flip older enthusiast cars since you are really good at detailing. You could make money and then put that back into your hondas and the Evo :D

Alot of used cars have that style paint job. Sand with 320 on a DA and spray color, then clear. Is it the right way, no not at all, but it does work. Fix the RSX and don't sell it man. It's a classic you won't be able to get back.

I have to disagree about the engine mounts and bushings on 90s Hondas. I bought an EM1 that had all those things shot, drove like shit. Replaced all those things and it was night and day.
I mean, they must have been BAD if you noticed it that much. I suppose it depends on how it’s been driven as well.
I might be thinking on getting a old honda with a stick shift and then teach myself stick or i might just get my first car with auto i'm 15 and i get my permit licnese when i turn 16 so my parents still have time to decide what to do with our car sitaution

Okay Honda boys. So I have a super clean 94 ex sedan a.k.a eg9 with a stick. I need help finding a clean lip and or maybe possibly a wing. If anyone knows any credible after market company that hasn't discontinued parts for my ride I'd appreciate any info. So Budget am willing to pay up to $250 for the lip and 3-5 hundred for a wing.
If it was me, I would install an EG coupe bumper onto the sedan and run a coupe lip. Takes a little heat moulding but it does fit and looks good IMO
@@ALLDAYANTHONY That's a big trend in Thailand. They love eg sedans over there. Even more then us cali Honda guys. I was thinking about it but the weirdest thing happened I started liking my bumper over the eg. Tons of hatchback here fewer coupes and even less sedans.
