For a while I thought the ”horrible” thing was just going to be Ciri having to watch Geralt getting a prostitute, which would have been lame and oversensitive, but as it turns out there was some actual REAL horror coming.
Given CDPR's attention to detail, I wouldn't be surprised if this was an "intentional glitch". This might be their way of saying: "You took Ciri to a brothel eh? Now suffer..."
Just how old is Ciri in this game? She doesn't look like a small child anymore that's for sure. If she is a grown adult woman as I suspect she is in the game then why should anymore who takes the character to a brothel has to be punished then?
Ciri's story really needed to be fine tuned, the last novigrad questline with her for example; the horse I mounted practically spazzed out when I jumped down from the first blockade, I'm talking unsurvivable spazzing: back legs above head the whole works.
Fun fact, if you can't jump over the wall to skip the thugs after you've dumped ciri's sword, you can just run to nearby horses and the horses will kick the enemies to death. Takes a few minutes, but I didn't know you can jump over the wall so horses was all I had.
& CDPR just announced this game will get more enhanced updates for next gen iterations & free upgrades for all platforms, including ray tracing, faster loading time, & more. Witcher games contents basically limitless for you LOL

The devs knew it was possible to bring Ciri to the brothel and hire a prostitute, so they set up a gotcha trap to make it clear to anyone looking that you did exactly that.

Having tried that before it's a different horror. She is given the skeleton of Geralt, so it's still Ciri's model, just looking like Stretch Armstrong. It goes back to normal after the cutscene though
I just did the Ciri glitch and decided to try the romance scene with Keira Metz. Recorded it on Xbox 1. Several interesting differences. While talking to Keira, Garalt was wearing his towel for the entire scenes. Ciri was, however wearing Garalt's dress clothes during the horse race and hide and seek portions. The love scene was with Garalt, not Ciri, and Ciri changed back into her regular outfit after the cutscene. No weird amalgamation. I'm playing the game of the year addition on Xbox1.

I wonder if you could fix the "fused" condition by going back to the brothel after you have completed Ciri's section of gameplay? I could think doing that would trigger the game script to remove all of Geralt's clothes including the "Ciri body parts" clothes and get you back to normal. It would be interesting to test.
