His other songs are underrated you mean. Gotye was at the top of every chart back in 2011 because of Somebody that I used to Know the song is great but I think other songs in the album (Making Mirrors) are just as equally as good, actually his entire discography is filled with refreshing tracks.
I don’t know what it was but when I was pregnant with my son Bronte would come on my playlist ALL the time and I couldn’t help but sob. The most beautiful song, and I ❤️ the video. My son is now 4.5 and he likes the song. Makes my heart happy

When i was about 17, i used to stay up real late listening to Gotye. Songs like this one really made me well up in a melancholy and i'd sit with the feeling like listening to rain. And i keep returning... the rawness, the sudden leaps into full expression; relfects the vulnerability of our humanness, reflects life.

18 years ago, I was in Melbourne studied in University. At that time, TV at late night passed 12am, they sell music album on it. I bought an album from it. The CD called "Acoustic", featured variety artist. This song was one of them. By that time, I didn't know Gotye. But this is the only song I still remember from that album until today. This song brings back some kind of vague memories for me.
Not many artists can give truly great live performances like Wally did here. Wish I was there. I'd give an arm and a leg to be able to listen to him sing in such a small intimate setting like this, big concerts suck.
