Thank youuuu
what's the name?
3:17 Every time he says 'cut me off' I get chills, he's got so much more power in his voice now. Goddamn. (And the little vibrato that he does???)
It is not as clean anymore. That tiniest amount of rasp there adds much more emotion to the line.
@@halatcibarmen it’s better tho
@@halatcibarmen yeah its way better tho with the slight rasp
Edit: and the guitar is better than the xylophone thing in the original
@@eclipzzz__8425 didn't say anything about which is better
@@halatcibarmen yeah I know?? That's just my opinion
His belted notes give me chills everywhere, reminds me a little bit of sting. I wish this man would do more
Check out the new Basics album “B.A.S.I.C.” on all streaming services... he certainly does more.
@@The3Basics oh brilliant, didn’t realize there was a full album with him featured. I certainly will
@@swinephrog6428 he's part of the band
A little? I’d say indistinguishable from Sting in the orig recording 😆
That feelings when you come back after 9 years later and finally understand the lyrics and relate to the song

The way he sings. He really makes you believe it. Really cool
They said that they couldn’t sing it well but the girls in the crowd should try...
But when they sang it, it was better than I ever could sing if I tried.

His voice doesn't age. What a talented singer.
Its even better now
@Clintric Acera or like cheese
it definitely aged, i'm not saying that it's bad now, but if you listen closely and compare he used to hit the high range without effort, but now he has to reach for it. still good though.
Why does this song hit way to different when your on a toilet

Lmao🤣

Lol
One of the all-time best songs. Seriously.
He's a true Bohemian. So much art in him. Doesn't demand spotlight. Voice is raw.. He's at peace.. Comments here are fucking funny.
Comments these days are mostly memes. Though of course there those attention seekers and the one's who are toxic which is annoying ASL. But I 100% agree with you

For anyone who’s too young to remember, let me give you some perspective. This song was everywhere in 2012. I MEAN EVERYWHERE. The radio played it 6,419 times a day, every store in the mall had it playing around the clock. Every man, woman and child knew this song and all the words whether they wanted to or not. It was unreal how big this song was.
Loving this description, it's so accurate it hurts. Thankfully the song itself is so amazing that one didn't grow to resent it hearing it everywhere!
I still know this off by heart
Yea I mean this was everywhere
I refuse to believe there's literally people too young to remember it :((
