I spent my last 7 months travelling across Canada and USA before coming back in my hometown here in Europe, in Belgium more precisely. I drove through the whole continent from east (Montreal) to west (Vancouver), visiting so many places in the US on the road but anyway, I would like to deeply thank the people of Winona for their kindness and their help when my car broke down on the interstate 90, right next to the Mississipi. I accidentally met this city but Winona will always have a place in my heart :) I'd be so happy to see it again someday. Take care!

I must visit Winona next time I visit my sisters in Minnesota. It is a big state, but someway there is so much much to see in peaceful settings .
Also, is this the city from where Wynona Ryder hails?

Sequoia C. Hi Sequoia, I can tell you this - Winona has never been better than it is right now. We have an amazing performing arts scene, an indie music festival that draws thousands of people, a film festival that shows some of the same films as Sundance, live music every weekend, new restaurants, and a million ways to get outdoors and enjoy our beautiful river and bluffs. Come check it out - I think you'll be surprised.

Sequoia C. I moved here about 20 years ago and I can tell you SO much has changed in what the city has to offer in the last 13 years... but I get that if someone lives here their whole life with the same friends and same routine, they may not be able to see it the way others do. Here is a link to Visit Winona's Facebook page - you can look through and see some of the stuff people are loving about Winona right now :-) facebook.com/visitwinona

Sorry, people! I've lived in Winona, for a while, and the people are extremely rude there. I've lived in a lot of places too. It stands out!
