I Graduated from Winona Senior High School in 1983 "GO WINHAWKS" - for the most part I enjoyed my years at Senior High. I still have many friends that still live in Winona, My parents are still there - and my brother Paul works @ RTP. I REALLY MISS IT. I'm so glad I found this short video about Winona, it was well done.. HELLO!! to everybody in Winona, I'm living in California, but plan to visit some time this summer.(It's been years since I've been back) So many awesome memories, GOD BLESS
I'm also an expatriate, though a more recent one. WSHS Class of 2005, I'm over in Soma, Japan right now, and in what modest "world-seeing" I've done, Winona remains one of my favorite and most beautiful cities I've seen. I grew up in Winona, and while I don't intend to return there permanently, I always adore my visits home. To those life-long Winonans, I understand how easy it is to get jaded, but let yourself really see what Winona has. I think it's a wonderful place.
My parents and brother Paul Decker still live in Winona, I went to Winona Senior High School - class of 1983.. Still stay in touch with friends that have never moved away.. It's a small town, approx. 30,000 people - 15% of that are students.. I do miss Winona and I'm going to B in town in April of 2010. Max Duran
I live in Winona (WSU alum) and it is one of the coolest places I've ever been. I love the scenery and I love living here. It's a pretty good sports and drinking town. Go Warriors!
I have been to 42 of the states in this country and I have to say that if you really stop and take it all in, Winona is an amazing city and one of the most tranquil places in the country!
