Thanks for coming to ride in Winona! There's much more in the works for Bluffside park! This summer Pathfinder is building a skills park and IMBA/Rock Solid are back to build a connector trail to an easy green loop, bringing the loop into the overall trail system. Also, if people are coming from the Twin Cities area, you can skip the drive! You can take the Amtrak down for a day trip, ride for a few hours, and then take the train home.
Great video of our local trails here. We are very excited about the exposure these trails are getting. Next time you are in town, swing into the bike shop (the one with the BIKES sign in your vid) and we can show you our preferred way to ride them or even better get out and rip a lap with you. recent storms have definitely left lots of debris on Zinger but it is a great trail and will ride much better once we get those rocks cleared off if it. You did miss the Quarry trail, which is some good old tight singletrack with a nice DH that leads back to the start of the cistern trail.
The next time I am in town, I will definitely stop by and wouldn't mind getting the inside scoop from the locals on this system! I knew when I skipped Quarry I was missing out on something good😔
Wow! A great video, and it's quite obvious you're a excellent rider. At your speed you had to be amazingly quick at reading your line. I had a couple of MTB's 40+ years ago when there were no specific areas in which to ride. Well, anyway, my first love was road bikes. I'm Bill and I live in Winona.
Completely forgot they were building out here. Great to hear there is so much elevation and it looks like it’s off to a good start. I’m sure as they expand and develop this could become a gnarly system. Happy to see that southern Minnesota is getting more options.
Thanks for making an extended video of an improved trail system I’ve been really wanting to ride again sometime. Rode here once 4 years ago as a side trip back from La Crosse and knew there was potential. Growing up in Red Wing I will always recommend checking out the epic Driftless Region around Lake Pepin, now it looks like there are 3 great trail systems there in Red Wing, La Crosse, and now Winona!
Thanks for this video! Just rode these trails. Ope Trail was a blast. I think it’s ones of the best bang for your buck downhill runs. It’s a great run and the climb isn’t too steep like what you get at Upper Hixon in my opinion.
Thanks for the video of our trails! It's awesome to see them continue to grow, we actually have a new beginner skills park area that is just finishing up with more in the plans from what I have heard so you will have to come back for sure!
I live in Winona. This and the "Cherry Hill" trails are my go-to! And I just saw the news today that Rock Solid was just contracted to add another connector trail!

Heck yeah its a dope spot!

Great video of an often overlooked trail system.
Great local riding for me. Glad I found your channel.

It’s rad to ride new trail! Glad you made the trek and it was decent. It would be a blast to get a locals tour of the place as I saw offered.🎉
Besides Red Wing, MN hasnt really tapped much into the bluff potential. La crosse has some stuff so hopefully winona can keep building onto this

Awesome video as always dude! This place looks like it has some MAJOR potential for some great tracks. Hope they develop it more.

AMAZING!
Troll Scroll is the new trail. I rode it with my son last week. Super fun!
Nice!
Cool
Great video! My folks place is just across the river. I really need to bring my MTB more when I head down instead of bringing my road bike every time!
Wait, what? Didn’t know these trails existed. I’m only 30 minutes away from there. Might have to swing by.
If you're in this immediate area, I've heard redwing has some solid trails as well
@@jackburton2680 they sure do. Been there a few times.
This used to be a yearly visit for me but I don't think I've made it down since 2017. Might need to change that this season.
