- Rating all sidearms in Battlefield V based on gameplay, look/feel, and favoritism.
This is the first video I've made that has a pretty good amount of effort put in. I'll improve where I can in the future and I hope you enjoy the video.

Fun Fact: the Type 94 was referred to as the surrender gun due to the fact that it could be fired by pressing the side of the weapon.
Ah, the Type 94 sear bar… Japanese weapons of that time period are such a mixed bag.
Right, but that's inaccurate. It may have happened once or twice, but that's not its intended role, it was a rumor started by US troops.
The external sear was done because it was easier to manufacture and maintained than the Type-14's internalized sear. Ian McCollum also tested this idea over at Forgotten Weapons, and while it *was* possible it wasn't easy to do.
In reality, the Type-94 is actually pretty safe to handle, especially when the safety is on, and it was more popular among Japanese troops than the Type-14 due to being simpler to maintain while staying reliable (it used the same 8mm Nambu round but with a simplified blowback action instead of the complicated locked breech design of the Type-14).

@herrflammen6487 I'm a big fan of them myself, but they're more of a general overview channel. I'd recommend doing more in-depth research on a story they cover (usually SH is pretty good, but sometimes they'll mess up a detail or two).

You’re not wrong about the PPK having less recoil! It The suppressed version has 30% less vertical recoil than the regular PPK. The suppressor has somehow given it the recoil buffer!

hey a heavy weight at the front of the barrel is definitely gonna lower recoil just… its also gonna cut the handling speed

_"The feeding ramp is polished to a mirror sheen. It's not going to have any feeding problems. The slide's been replaced with a reinforced version, and it meshes perfectly with the frame. The frame itself has been iron-welded and scraped down multiple times for maximum precision. The front strap part of the frame has been checkered to make it dig into the hand. That prevents any slipping. The sight system's original too. It's a 3-dot type. It's got an enlarged front sight, giving it superior target sighting capability. Theres such a poor selection of sidearms in this game. Therres only 2 maybe 3 at best worth using.
Yeah it’s kinda sad after BF1 had such a big selection, and then BF2042 has such a DIVERSE selection.
WW2 already has some limited options when it comes to sidearms and Dice limited themselves even more with the countries they chose to represent. A Soviet expansion could have brought back some great choices from bf1 but alas we all know how that ended

Sidearms are not primary weapons. A sidearms job is to be good at a 1v1 in close range when your primary weapon is empty. Thus the best sidearm in the game by far is the Repetierpistole. Any good player knows this such as Wilko Diablo who has 100+ kill games on his channel with every single weapon in the game and an entire video showing why it’s the best via stats as well. Its job is to be able to quickly swap to it and win the 1V1. Of all side arms it has the fastest TTK in the game. Everything else is irrelevant. Just like this list.
T-T Ignoring how mean that is to say, this video is for fun, not to be another objective/lifeless analysis. I make that clear at the very start, yes? Clearly you know what the status quo is and don’t need me to tell you what to use so why do you care? Also it’s unfortunate that you try to tear me down saying something false like “The Repetierpistole 1912 has the fastest TTK,” especially since you must have missed the part where I specifically pointed out that the Mark VI Revolver has the fastest time to kill.
