As someone who had several Ukrainian and Russian gfs, they are overrated. You can easily find women with same look without the money BS in Hungary. Or just go to rural areas in Ukraine or Russia and find women there who are not looking for rich foreigners.

I had a young 23yr old Ukrainian "Insta supermodel" girlfriend from Lviv in 2018 but it did not last long. She was VERY demanding and expensive and always wanted to go to Dubai just for looking rich on instagram. Later that year or in 2019-2020 I had another Unkranian girlfriend (I like slavic girls, yes) also from Lviv, she was just as beautiful but was not a "Insta supermodel" and she was not very demanding (I like to please my woman so it's OK) and not expensive, she often chose the cheaper option (even if I payed), and I started a webshop for her so she has her own bussiness (she is not earning much but much more than avg. Ukranian salery) much of that money she send to her family in Lviv, and I think if you that care of a woman from another (poor) country, remember her parents and her family, she will be very happy if she knows you want to help her family.

Right now almost anything is 'worse' then Ukraine due to the current circumstance. Of course a woman moving country won't do that if she does not have some sort of guaranties as she is putting herself in a very vulnerable and dependent situation for a few years. So it's understandable that she has minimal expectations, including for money as you will be the main provider. For the rest it's all case by case. And she is right about the flowers!!
