I had a 72 Chevy C-10 long box in the 80's with a built 350. I used to love seeing the expressions on faces of the Mustang G/T's, GTO's, Camaro Z-28's and even a few big block Chevelle owners after they lost to a long box C-10 with a 350. My truck had 350 painted on the hood and I had several people say they didn't believe it was a small block. I would never show them though.

I was going to put a 460 in but then I'd have to try and find a bellhousing that would hook up to the np435 trans I have. To much work involved in doing a engine swap like that when my 390 works just fine and has plenty of torque for everything.

So when I ran into needing to replace tires, found you could no longer get any tire in 16.5. Which is how I discovered surplus "Humvee" tires - 37" BFG Bajas that only come in 16.5
Military surpluses them out when they get to 85% tread. They go for average $85 a piece. The HiBoy stock set up accepts them with no issues at all. Love 'em.
