Esper the Bard having our first fully play session tomorrow and found this channel. It’s gonna make being a first time DM and Setting atmosphere so easy
My husband put this on in the background the other night whilst he rearranged my guts in the front room with the curtains open. It got a bit weird and people were just passing by, but then stopping and just staring. I couldn't even hear me or my husband crying, although I was aware that we both were, I could just hear the music. All I could feel was my husbands body slamming against mine in a depressing dirge of a rhythm. It felt like I was witnessing a galaxy dying. When we finished (both of us having ejected our carnal fluids) my husband went to the study to finish his Lego Millennium Falcon and I headed to the bedroom to catch up on Girl Genius.
You stand before a steep staircase cutting down into the earth. The old stone decorated with vines and old growth. The sides of the staircase are decorated with faces of rulers long gone. At the entrance, strands of sunlight shine through the thick foliage above. Piercing through the darkness in front of you. A smell of stale water and old stone lingers in the air. As you peer down the stair case you can see slight glows of luminescence plants growing in the deep dark. The feeling at the entrance is tense. Nobody knows what lies in these ruins, but from the stories you hear. It's nothing good. "What would you like to do?"
or you could put a container under it with something long leaning for the drips to slide down. though, with that much effort, you may as well look up how to fix it
Been designing an entire dungeon kingdom occupied by a conqueror, and this is my go-to for brainstorming ideas on it. Makes me feel like I'm walking ancient and forgotten tombs and caverns, now retrofitted to be cities for goblins and cultist pyromancers. Great work!
During my campaign, I gave my players a quest that went through a tomb and this soundtrack was perfect for it! They enjoyed how creepy it was and gave it a cool atmosphere.
I love listening to tracks like this while I'm caving in Minecraft. I believe the game should have individual local ambient sounds triggered by the player entering a given location: A Dungeon, a very large cave, the sound of water dripping from the ceiling of the cave, and in the Overworld there may be birdsong, the sound of the wind blowing through the leaves on the trees, etc.
menslady125 I love that for the nearly 2 years this channel has been going, you’ve been one of the first to comment on every video I put up. Thank you for supporting me for this long, and I always love your posts.
I discovered ambience/ASMR rooms while searching for something to listen to while I write. This sounds so wonderfully creepy. Excellent for when the heroes decide to go down the dark creepy tunnel that no one can see the end of because isn't that just a brilliant idea?
Very ominous! Makes me feel like even the most gentle of footfalls, every pebble as it falls from the ceiling and hits the stone flooring, every trickle of water would echo throughout the entirety of the dungeon. Weapons at the ready boys! 😰😰😰
My different characters reactions: Luke Marrowind (Marro-wind) Mountain dwarf fighter: Tread lightly. Though these tombs are old I doubt we are alone Ignus Paladin-Brass dragonborn Zealot Barbarian: Nina (His six year old daughter) Stay close to papa...Ignus will keep you safe. Your feeble light illuminates the cavern floor. Dust centuries old kicks up as you make your way across the room. At the far end is a mountain of treasure, gems, armor and magic weapons. A skull with gems in its eye sockets silently grins as you approach.
My players are going to be going into a dungeon tonight, This works great for the labrinth/catacombes area I created for the atmosphere! One of my players are easily spooked, so I kind of hope this gets them on edge lol
my D&D session for today has been canceled since the DM is going through some shit, which is understandable. now i found this and i'm totally gonna send this to him and i hope he'll like it enough to use it sometimes in our future sessions
I've been using this and a few of your other videos for my playthroughs of this game called Exanima. This video in particular fits extremely well with the first floor of the game. If anyone plays Exanima give it a try.
Let's walk down miles of these dungeon corridors and halls with steps effect and sound turning camera sideways up and down at times and walking and where will it end up in Hell or in a hole in the mountains overseeing a town near the coast? The perfect picture, just need to be walking down into it.
Be sure to burn various monster oils in your combustion light sources as well as to your weapons although argentia should be applied to your silver weapons in case we get attacked by various monster types.

{1 of 5}The Mighty Dwarf Coalhand: See ya'll in a week, He turns on his flashlight and racks the bolt on his Mysterious AK-47 and descends into the dark of the underworld. He returns a week later, out of dynamite, one magazine of ammo left, on his last MRE, flash light dead, using a makeshift torch, and carry a pack of gold, gems, and magic items then discovers that everyone that stood guard at the entrance fled some time ago..... After returning to town he runs into his "pals" at the pub, of course they ask if he scored big and also asked for their share. After a careful thought he looks down at his Wonderous AK-47 device and says "I still have ammo, why don't ya'll just go pack sand, this here treasure is mine!"

I am working on a play about an old abandoned theatre and it requires some pre-show sounds. I was wondering if I could use this dungeon sound and combine it with a few other sounds to create a nice "haunted theatre" soundscape? I'm not getting paid for the work or anything and I would just appreciate your permission. Please let me know, thanks! :)
"if your reading this im probably dead. i have been down here for a few days now surviving on only rashins. Its getting late, there coming... i love you mom"
I actually enjoy these as ambiant noise in my room, altho I am planning to use some for a D&D game soon. If you are looking for inspiration I'd love to hear variations, like you could do a volcanic cave system, with sounds of fire, steam and boiling lava. Or one that's infested with vermin like subtle fade ins of bat chittering and rat scuttering, and occasional spiders or even distant yells and noises of other things?
Hey! Could I use some of your ambient tracks for background music in a mod I'm working on? It's a custom story for Amnesia: The Dark Descent. You will of course be fully credited for each track. Please let me know! Thanks!
Hi. My later videos are short enough for the discord bot, if that's what you're after, but at the moment I don't have the time to reupload my earlier ones. I will get around to it eventually though.
Do you have this one available on band camp? I’ve bought most of the collection you offer there, but it seems like many creations, like this one, are not available on the site. Is there a reason for that? There are many of these audios that I would like to buy, but I can’t seem to find them.
Hi. I have a channel and would like to use maybe 4 minutes of this sound as background to a video. If I link back to here, would you be okay with that? Thanks
I figured I’d make cleaning my room more interesting by setting the mood
Now that was a funny comment. 👏😄
Funny. Well done sir!
Ea!
Just don't fall into a trap! And beware skeletons under the bed! Nasty creatures...
Hah! hehehe...
Alright, I need your guys’ marching order . . .
Barbarian is upfront, Rogue is next to back him up, warlock and bard are next, cleric will bring up the rear and watch behind.
I'm a barbarian so I will walk at the front of the group
The Guy witch CA and HP is upfront, or the perception Guy, and the same watch behind
As a Wild Magic Sorcerer, i tend to hang in the back so I don’t accidentally fireball the party when I roll a surge.
What are y'all talking bout
"Right. Keep me covered."
"What with?"
"Just keep me covered."
"Too late!"
I just discovered this channel tonight while DMing, great work, thank you!
I just discovered this channel the other night while DMing myself!

Same!! Great stuff

yeah. go down those stairs... good luck with that... Ill stay up here and uh... keep watch.
C'mon! You can't stay up here! You'll be by yourself.. You gotta come with. We all gotta watch eachothers backs. It's the only way.
Perhaps if you were to come down you wouldn’t get attacked by bandits, then again I’ll stay up here and watch out for things
I'll give you a chance. Chimb down two steps and I'll let you join my side again. But if you'd rather die, climb those stairs.
*Goliath Punches Dwarf in the stomach* there! Better? now lets go! I want to find that cursed sword!
you know what? i should stay up here because if i go down there it will be a lose lose situation sO yOu sHoUdL gO DoWn tHeRe

I walk straight in not skipping a beat. Im big nasty barbarian I live in these dungeons boys.
listening to this while smoking to pump up my anxiety and pre-harsh my vibe
My faucet is leaky and dripping, which was annoying me. So I put on this video and now it sounds normal like I'm in a moldy leaky dungeon.
Genius. That's a natural 20 on a performance check. You get Inspiration.

I like the wind and echo effects...makes it seems like the dungeon is large with multiple openings
Perfect. Good night!
Played a few games of Dungeonquest with this in the background setting the mood - just perfect, thank you :)
Subbed immediately, this is exactly what I was looking for :)
I looked up "dungeon sleep sounds" and I am not disappointed.

DM notes: Classic dungeon crawl. Generic, ambient noises. Wind whistling.
The “oh my, oh my” really reminds me of the “I tell you we must die, I tell you we must die, I tell you, I tell you, I tell you we must die” from the song whiskey bar by the doors
That's ruddy mysterious.
