Anna McQuillan looks like that prison you can reach by crossing a river or going under a bridge- its near a mans house that has been crushed by a tree.

This sounds weird, but listening to these ambience music of Skyrim especially the dungeon ones remind me of a special moment that happened in my life, but sadly it went away. But thanks for makeing this man
I play it too! Mostly on PS3, because my PS4 copy is scratched and I've been trying to fix it. And I have the most progress on my PS3 copy, so that's nice.
my god this reminds me of playing Skyrim all night long my freshman year of college until the sun would rise. one of the best video game soundtracks of all time.
I remember when this game came out, I was 9 and this game complimented my imagination so much and the soundtrack was a big part to make this game feel magical in my 9 year old brain, and still to this day, Im an 18 year old college student who still consistently plays this game over and over and still feel engaged and excited as my past 9 year old self once was. I know Bethesda have been getting lots of criticism over the years but holy moly did they make a good game, which will be with me forever.
The Dungeons of this game are the best i have seen in any video games, the dwarven ruins still blows my mind up until now. Skyrim is a game where there is the normal map, then there is half the size of this map underground.
You dont have stars? I can see at least a decent amount I have seen pictures from australia where the sky is like a painting I wish i could see that one day
OneWhoSetMalicious try looking into Dungeon Synth as well. Lord Lovidicus, Wongraven, Barak Tor, faery Ring, Old Tower, Sequestered Keep etc. Its lower-fi synth fantasy music perfect for RPG tabletops.
The music that starts at 20:45, when the tone turns slightly lighter and the leitmotif I've come to associate with the LDB starts playing always inspired me, it's like the game itself tells you that, even in the depths of Skyrim's darkest dungeons, surrounded by hordes of undead and other monsters, you are still the hero, the last hope of Tamriel, and you have to keep moving forward no matter what, because you are the only one who can. It's such a brief little part, but I love it more than anything.
Damn... This game had so much influence on me and many others. I'll never forget the amount of hours I put into it and I'd start it all over if given the chance. Such a masterpiece, just the music almost brings a tear to my eye.
Death in the Darkness and Beneath the Ice have to be my favorite ones, every time I hear them in the background it literally makes me stop completely and just listen :’) ugh they just feel so magical 🤍

Those of us who remember the days of dungeon crawling fondly find this relaxing. Looking through Dwemer ruins and wondering what i would find. Having hours to play and not worrying about the future. Simpler times
Skyrims ambience is unparalleled. Pure love to it's craft. This godly ambience carries the spirit of the North and its people very well. I have found Skyrim very recently, but I am sure I will remember it for years to come.. these unforgettable moments, especially the first time in Bleak Falls Barrow.
I remember when I played this for the first time. My friend's brother showed me. This was back in 2011 - I was ten. I bought Skyrim as soon as I got home and have never stopped playing.. it's 2021 and I'm still finding things 😂 I adore this game ♥️
When I have to work through the night to finish off essay assignments I often listen to this. When it gets to around 5 o'clock my mind temporarily drifts off and I start having Draug Deathlord flashbacks
I find it incredibly ironic that ambiance and music most likely meant to convey unease, mystery, or caution while delving deep into dangerous territory can be so relaxing. I think this is mostly due to nostalgia for the late nights I spent playing the game, and the sort of relief you feel after clearing a dungeon.
This is so magical. I'm working and listening, but I keep coming back to the screen to see what image is matching the different music and atmospheric sounds.
This game is always my go to when I want to immerse myself in a realm of solitude and forget about the real world for long sleepless nights/days. Just me and my thoughts/fantasies that this world cannot and will not contaminate.
Silent Footsteps always sent a shiver down my spine. After hearing that for the first time, I was wondering whether or not I wanted to dive deep into a dangerous ruin.
I started playing Skyrim in 2017- I was 7 years old. I was a Kajjit (I know I spelled it wrong but you know what I mean) named Speckles of Litterboxia. I stopped playing at level 9. This was the X box version- x box 360. I made a second account last year- Thistle Whitewood. I miss the game so much and I long for the day when I can get a new x box, make a new account, and go back to my old days working as an assassin for the dark brotherhood. Skyrim raised me when my parents couldn’t- the game understood my aesthetic and feeling when no one else would. This is the game that raised me, and continues to do so even though I haven’t seen it in months. Skyrim holds the happiness of my childhood, and I love it for that. Thank you for reading this omg- I just needed to think out loud, y’know? The Skyrim community feels so safe- every player cares for eachother. We gotta keep one another safe from this cruel world. I love you all.
Wow, awesome community. Someone in the comment is making fun of the Stormcloak's armor, which was currently worn by the person who recorded this video on RUclips. Someone else posts a photo of a dead Ulfric on Reddit and laughts. Someone else adds a video on RUclips "average imperial fan vs average Stormcloak enjoyer", someone else writes on Reddit that the supporters of the Stormcloaks are too young and stupid, on Reddit someone changes the name of Ulfric the Stormcloak to "Ulfric Stormcuck", someone else adds an image "average Ulfric fan vs average brunwulf enjoyer", someone else insults Windhelm by calling it the worst city in Skyrim, what a fucking awesome community, it makes me want to live in it 🤮 Someone posted a meme with monkeys with the caption: average Nords talking about politics, well you're a great fucking community, but seriously, you're the worst community I've ever met 🤮 You seriously offended my preferences in Skyrim 🤮
Your compilations really help me to focus when I write. Thank you so much for taking the time to make all of them. Writing just goes a lot more smoothly when I play this in the background. You can't go wrong with Skyrim, especially considering it has an ambience that just can't be beat.
Nordic Ruin + Silence Unbroken is absolutely my fav combo. It literally scared the shit out of me and was afraid to make even a step forward in the first ruin I heard it.
I miss this game so much, it was my first rpg and I remember enjoying every minute of the world to where I would just stop to take in everything around me.

In the flickering shadows you could almost see them. In the dark ruins, their scent - decaying and decadent - was still present. There were aged footprints rimed with mud, and something else like wine-dark stains. I found bits of hair and broken bones. Cracked and yellow teeth had been thrown into a cobwebbed corner. I refused to imagine what they did to our people. I would not let my mind go there. I had a mission to finish. I resolved in my heart to see it through regardless of whether I lived or died. What they did to us was a sin. What I would do to them was revenge. I asked God for mercy on my soul. Then I crept into the black cavern yawning open before me.

Gosh... it really makes you feel like you're playing Skyrim right now, yet I'm only here listening to this. Wow, I wish I could make that kind of ambience.

I remember playing Skyrim for the first time in 2016, I was 15. It was my favourite rpg and fantasy game, I finished the dragenfall story and the island one. It was such an awesome game, I think I will restart it again, because I do not remember a majority of the locations and and the story.
Death and the Darkness still one of my faves :)
Skyrim has the best music that i have ever seen and hear in gaming history.
Gonna retire someday. Get myself an island.
Beneath the Ice feels like I'm journeying to the greatest depths of the Earth
Is someone there !?
Must've been the wind...
Shouldn't have come here
I guess it was nothing....
Must have been my imagination...
Time to end this little game
This helps with writing my story thanks
I still play Skyrim in 2019. Judge me all ya want. But I do.
Me too.
same
Me too boi
Same. It almost ruined my life xD
2020 here
*By the divine! You won't leave Skyrim alive!!*
Towers and shadows is my favourite in the whole ! It makes me feel like a sneaky dude doing some bad things héhéhéhé
A cold night...curled under a warm blanket...no job or anything to do but explore Skyrim.
Thank very much for u r videos, they help me study and read books while listening to my favorite game
+Obada Kolko 💛
I listen to all these videos while prepping for dungeons and dragons, not to mention.. while playing of course
Idk why but listening to this music is so relaxing, despite intending to be a bit creepy
Gosh... it really makes you feel like you're playing Skyrim right now, yet I'm only here listening to this. Wow, I wish I could make that kind of ambience.
