    A couple small rules notes: Paying 0 instead of the normal cost with Darksteel Monolith is still paying no mana. Vexing Bauble specifies "If no mana was spent to cast it" not "If it was spent without paying it's mana cost" so anything that costs 0 still gets countered. Also, you mentioned mana "filtering to colorless" with Lotus Field. Mana outside your color identity is still produced normally, and hasn't changed to colorless since 2017. That means strictly colored mana sources like Lotus Field don't work with Forsaken Monument or intensive colorless costs like Emrakul's Madness. The reason you're allowed to play them is because despite making all 5 colors, they don't have any colored mana symbols on them, so they have no formal color identity.
    I've been playing Zhulodok for a while and I feel the absolute highest priority in the deck is getting to a critical mass of mana to start cascading with, so I am very surprised at the lack of cheaper mana rocks. You're playing It that Heralds the End, which only ramps your biggest things, as opposed to any Mind Stone, Thought Vessel, etc that can ramp into anything and helps enable your metalcraft for Urza's Workshop and Inventor's Fair, or be revealed to Metalworker for a huge turn. That would also allow Mox Opal to easily slot in as even more ramp. Obviously they're weaker than the broken stuff, but playing a few of those speeds up many of your games by a turn or more. Also Forsaken Monument is the strongest card in the entire deck and you don't have Moonsilver Key to tutor it out (the static ability to add 1 colorless when you tap something for colorless is still a mana ability).
    Another card I'm surprised to not see here considering budget/reserved list doesn't seem to be a problem is Candelabra of Tawnos. When I saw the Lotus Field and Lotus Vale I immediately assumed that was a big reason for them, as I don't think Deserted Temple alone is enough to justify it. The sheer number of Sol Lands in general within the deck, especially with Planar Nexus enabling Tron lands for free, makes the card even more of a busted ramp inclusion, not even considering Forsaken Monument interactions. Also a note for a minor nonbo, Lotus Field will have to sacrifice 4 lands if it comes down with an Echos of Eternity in play.
    Yavimaya, Cradle of Growth and Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth are worthwhile inclusions in my opinion, as they allow your Eye of Ugin to tap for mana (and Mishra' Workshop for non-artifacts). Similar to Lotus Field, you can still play them because they have no colored mana symbols on them. Commander rules are kind of silly but it's legal so it's worth taking advantage of. Also beats Void Mirror, which I have run into before.
    I really like the ability to play the deck at instant speed, but ironically I am not currently playing Vedalken Orrery. I have found that Liberator, Urza's Battlethopter and Skittering Cicada do the job a lot better. 3 mana is a lot less than 4, and they allow you to keep your mana up longer as they have flash themselves. Honestly I want to play the Orrery as well but it's always been just short of making the cut.
    The last card I really really want to recommend is Glaring Fleshraker. It effectively makes all of your spells cheaper by making spawns on each cast, you can bank that mana between turns if you don't use it all, and it gives another cheeky auto-win combo with Mystic Forge and Sensei's Diving Top, where you draw out your deck and burn everyone out. Likely Forge + Top is putting you in a winning position regardless, but having the ability to cleanly end the game without needing another mana engine is a nice bonus.
    I hope this didn't come off too ranty. I'm just now revisiting my Zhulodok deck after being focused on Yugioh Nationals the past month or so, and went looking around at what people were doing post-MH3. Figured I could potentially gain some knowledge and give some knowledge. It's a sweet deck. Keep on Annihilating!

      Hey there, bud, no offense taken.
      I love the input. I'm always looking for ways to improve my decks/gameplay abilities!
      You've got some great ideas here. No promises that I'll implement them as I have the memory of a goldfish.
      But nonetheless, it means the world to me that you took the time to watch my video, let alone that you took the time to comment❤️‍🔥
      I wish you good luck in your next game and the most cracked of hands!!

    The last ban was a really big hit on this deck. Lucky you didn’t run Jeweled Lotus.
    I have some questions. Lotus field and Lotus vale. Are they only in the deck to give crucible of worlds some purpose? Those lands dont seem to ramp like Scorched Ruins and if the destroy those lands, the risk doesn’t seem to be worth it. Whats the reasoning?
    In my deck, i try to play lots of cast reductions. Cloud Key, Foundry Inspector, Heralds Horn, Inspiring Sanctuary, Semblance Anvil, Stone Calendar, Urzas Incubator and im looking forward for a Planar Gate.
    Was it me or you dont have voltaic key nor Manifold Key? Never had the need to use these with Grim Monolith or Mana Vault?
    I have seen lots of people recommend already Glaring Fleshraker, i will too. Does a lot for so little.
    Last but not least. I want to recommend a land i dont see lots of people play. Safe Haven lets you exile many creatures that already have in play at instant speed. During your unkeep, you can sack it to return the creatures back to the field. You can use this to keep Zhukodok chill from removal, and you can use this to recast some big bois you already have in the game to retrigger cascade because the creatures re-enter game as they where just summoned.
    Always like to see different takes on Eldrazi Colorless, we are only a few.
    Have a great day!

      hey thanks for the question's i hope my answer's make since
      my playgroup is not gonna follow 50% of the new bans. so lotus and crypt will remain playable in our group. however dockside and nadu can hold the L
      for you first question around the lands an crucible of worlds. its actually the other way around! crucible of worlds is in there to give the lands more value. my play group doesn't play a lot of land destruction but when they do its single target. plus i had the lands laying around so i put them in.
      second is more of a statement. i saw most people doing cost reduction. i'm not a fan of doing what everyone else is. to i want more with fastish mana and rocks. relying more on my x2-cascade then anything. i know its not the best plan but i like it
      third was a question. i didn't include either key as i didn't really see the need. i know they would be great I'm my build however for multiple reasons i didn't add them.
      reason 1. i forgot about them
      reason 2. once they were pointed out i saw most decks ran them
      reason 3. out of all my games having both grim and vault tapped didn't really hurt my overall game.
      four the recommendation. i'm always down for more tech in any deck. with the fleshraker in my games its great for eating removal as it always gets hit. it was in the deck before the video as i do a lot of testing before my video's. sadly it didn't preform the way i wanted. so i took it out
      lastly. "safe heaven" while i can see some utility with it. i also see some issue's
      issue #1. it doesn't make mana on its own you would need something like urborg/yavimaya
      issue #2. while yes the removal is instant speed. the other effect only happens at your upkeep so if someone removes it before that your creature's stay removed from the game. your commander on the other hand goes back to the command zone.
      issue #3. this is more of a issue with your description of the effect. this doesn't let you recast but it does have them re-ETB. as a sidenote for Zhulodok the cascade is only when you cast hand.
      safe heave is a card i've tried and in the right deck it could be a star but here in this deck i don't think it would work.

      @@TcgCollectorYT Hey, thanks for the quick reply.
      Its great you have your own rulings about the bans with your pod. Im not really in favor of fast mana banning. Looking at my ancient tomb, scorched earth, mana vault and grim monolith with fear because where i play, the bans are implemented.
      I agree that its important that the deck reflects your personal play style. Great you keep it real.
      About Safe Haven, i didn’t know that creatures re entering didnt trigger cascade because the card stated “as it would be su summoned”. Its good to know.
      Still, i had some great use re entering kosilek for card draw and Ulamog and Emrakul for repeated destruction.

    • @TcgCollectorYT
      @TcgCollectorYT  23 дня назад

      @ramiroelganame3610 to be honest, I don't think they will hit any more fast mana after the backlash, but obviously, I'm not on the RC, but I 100% feel your fear on it either way.
      And I try to be as "real" as possible. There is no point in talking with someone if you have to question if they are lying every time right😁
      When it comes to the "safe haven," I'm glad I was able to clear it up. They just etb not cast so you wouldn't get the kozilek draw effect. But hey, it's a game. Learning is part of it!
      May your next hand be cracked and your games fun😊

    Honestly very surprised with the different directions we went with the decks. You went with the en masse ramp into titans, while I focused more on the specific Eldrazi Tribal aspect.
    Additions I had:
    - Urza’s Incubator
    - Herald’s Horn
    - Cloud Key
    - Roaming Throne
    - Grazing Fleshraker
    - Hand of Emrakul
    - Helm of Awakening
    - Horizon Stone
    - Desolation Twin
    - Spawnbed Protector
    - Ulamog’s Dreadsire (which is a more useful Spawnsire imo)
    - Skittering Invasion
    There were a lot of juicy Eldrazi added with MH3, so it’s odd that you focused on the Titans rather than the useful little ones. Plus, I’m genuinely surprised Roaming Throne wasn’t added since it stacks with Echos of Eternity to allow for up to 6 cascade triggers from Zhulodok.

    • @TcgCollectorYT
      @TcgCollectorYT  3 месяца назад

      Your version sounds super sweet. All my smaller eldrazi went to Azlask. With 3 eldrazi decks, it doesn't leave me much leftover.
      But ya, with this one, I went more for the big endgame stuff, mainly being the titans.

    • @foxofdiamonds2334
      @foxofdiamonds2334 3 месяца назад

      @@TcgCollectorYT Oof. I feel that. Unfortunately I don’t make enough to buy the Eldrazi MH3 Precon, so I’ve had to buy singles to fill out the rest. I will say that your deck is quite a bit more consistent than mine is. Cards like The One Ring and a few of my lands are the only draw spells I really have, with everything else either being ramp, reduction, or utility Eldrazi.
      It does allow for my bigger Eldrazi to be cast faster once I have those reducers out, so it’s overall fine, but it has the side effect of relying a lot more in Zhulodok than I think yours does.

    • @batsmak2506
      @batsmak2506 2 месяца назад +1

      Roaming Throne fits a lot better into the 5c eldrazi decks than the big colorless ones. Zhulodok has a Static Ability that gives cascade to the spells as you cast them, so you can't double-up the cascade that way. Echoes of Eternity works because it doubles triggered abilities of colorless spells, but Roaming Throne only doubles abilities of creatures with that type, meaning they have to actually be on the battlefield (or trigger by leaving the battlefield) to apply to them. Great with Ulalek, but pointless with Zhulodok.
