    I got these exact sets... would have liked a video of the rubber protector install for the fender flares since they aren’t installed already. But thanks for the info on the side steps - waiting on the 2nd box to arrive with the mounting hardware.

      That is the worst part of the job! I wish they'd install those at the factory.

    I didnt think about the flares rubbing paint off the fenders from vibrating dirt and dust between flare and paint and trapping moisture inside causing rust until I purchased some and watched a few videos. Im gonna put bedliner spray on the flares when they come in and install anyway and maybe stick weather stripping on paint where flare touches and rubs on fender to hopefully protect paint from wear

    What brand are these? I'd like to look them up on Amazon. I also know what you mean about leasing vs buying! So many don't understand that, if they don't walk in with a $60,000 check, they don't own there vehicle(s) anymore than those who lease compared to buy. I was hoping that, I could lease a vehicle just like yours, except maybe a different color. Thank you for answering my question I had about that. Great videos. I'm a new subscriber.

    Great video my friend. Love the flares. I have been looking for some for my ram. Think I’ll do the same ones! Awesome content as always

    Can you still use the factory mud flaps after installing the fender flares?

    Wouldn't these just cause more rust/corrosion?

    • @4-LOW
      @4-LOW  3 года назад +1

      If you can keep the paint and clearcoat on the panels, corrosion shouldn't happen. But if you don't install these, rock chips will knock paint off in tiny places all over the lips of the fenders and also the rocker panels, and those tiny chips will turn into rusty areas in just a matter of a couple of years.

      Painted would have been awesome. Unfortunately I didn't want to spend big money on these.
