  • With records broken in Portland, Eugene and Seattle, the Pacific Northwest is sweltering under triple-digit temperatures the likes of which has never seen before in the normally temperate month of June. Lilia Luciano reports. Jeff Berardelli also joins "CBS This Morning" to discuss more.
Each weekday morning, "CBS This Morning" co-hosts Gayle King, Anthony Mason and Tony Dokoupil deliver two hours of original reporting, breaking news and top-level newsmaker interviews in an engaging and informative format that challenges the norm in network morning news programs.

I've literally never been in 110 degree whether before. and it isn't just the temperature, its the humidity, We have Florida's humidity up here. 80 feels like 100 most of the time. Btw, info for people living there: if its not humid, keep pouring a little water on the crown of your head & put cold wet, towels on your neck. Thats how i survived a month in india in the 110-129° range. Yes, it actually hit 129° while i was there! Even the water was warm, not cold, but the evaporation helps cool you anyway.
