Nazareth is one of the best bands ever. They needed much more exposure.
    R. I. P. Darrell Sweet, a great drummer, almost as great as Ian Paice!

The most criminally underrated Band in Rock History.. Nazareth should be in RRHOF for crying out loud. They were an influence on bands like Guns N Roses .. Lars Ulrich is a big Nazareth fan..

These guys were the first concert I saw in '76 as a young teenager. They rocked! I still love their music.

Great video. I'm from the same town as them (Dunfermline) and actually lived across the street from Pete Agnew when the band started and they were known as The Shadettes. They used to practice in his upstairs bedroom and we could hear them playing from our house so I probably heard some of their early hits before anyone else.

Always loved Manny’s production of the Nazareth albums. Telegram is my favorite track, sooo well produced. Gives me chills... Rock in Peace Darrell!

Don't mean to bitch, but I hope you have a better audio link with Dan next week. The audio was just too muffled to understand anything Dan was saying here. That said, I love Nazareth and grew up jamming to them, great times. Thanks for the memories Nazareth, keep rockin guys... 🥀🖤R.I.P. Darrell🖤🥀

He died in New Albany, Indiana. I was at the amphitheater at the time he had his heart attack. There is a plaque on the wall at the New Albany amphitheater in honor of his memory.
