Now, as a white guy, I'll say this about Cryme Tyme. 1) Shad and JTG were ACTUALLY funny. So they elevated the material. And 2) they were babyfaces. So we actually cheered when they did their shtick.
I'm not saying that makes it "okay" necessarily. But I think that's why they're so fondly remembered.
They made their gimmick
Considering that the Attitude Era had a storyline where a wrestler fancied his own mom, this is relatively mild. Not that these aren't garbage.

For context on the Kurt Angle one, it was a promo on John Cena. It was around the time fans starting booing Cena so Kurt's point was he could say anything and the fans would still cheer him over John
The crazy thing is the match wasn't even a singles match with cena it was an elimination chamber match
Vince is definitely involved in these kinds of videos. Especially when Triple H dress up as The Rock was one of the funniest WWE moments 😂
